There are twelve colour variants of this Kipling Asseni mini tote bag and mine is described as "Silver (Metallic Glow)" which I think is odd - I don't think it's silver at all, unless that just describes the metallic finish. I'd describe this as rose gold metallic.The material is interesting - it's like the material they use for space suits, but rose gold, not white - it's deliberately crumpled which adds to this effect. I don't know if this is achieved by virtue of the material or the way it's stitched. Or maybe it's the way it's lined. Whatever, it looks interestingly crumpled.But it's not just the bag material that's interesting - get how sturdy the handles are - I bet you could support your body weight from these handles,

If you ignore price then this is a 5-star bag. Kipling make exceedingly good handbags. The quality is good and the little details are nice, like the monkey charm on this bag.I got this for my daughter and for her it is perfect. It is a good size so as to not be too big and heavy. It looks good, ours being the silver (metallic glow) version. It has carry straps if you want to carry it by your side, and a shoulder strap if you prefer to carry across your shoulder. The shoulder strap is adjustable, and is clip-off if you prefer it off. The inside of the bag is zipped so nothing can fall out. There is also an inner zipped pocket, plus other pockets including for pens.

A nice bag but crikey, it's how much?!This Kipling bag arrived neatly but simply packaged and in perfect condition.It's a nice shade that alters very slightly in different lights. It's (to my eyes) a slightly shimmery mushroom shade which takes on a goldish tinge in the right light.Other reviews detail all the relevant things like pockets, the spare shoulder strap, size etc very clearly, so I won't repeat all that here.It's a useful size, somewhere between a shopping bag and a small handbag. Personally I will get the most use from it with the shoulder strap attached.Everything looks and feels well made and good quality.However, my one big gripe is the price. I appreciate that you are paying for the brand name,

I would give 10 stars if it were a thing. I LOVE Kipling and this is a beautiful bag. It's an amazing metallic-y brushed gold colour, really beautiful. It has one internal zipped pocket, two open pockets, two pen pockets and a key fob inside, no external pockets. It has a shoulder strap with metallic stitching on and two grab handle straps. The monkey on this particular bag is metal and chunky silvery material. It is described as a mini tote which is perfect. This is big enough for a tablet, a purse, phone, reusable cup and lots of other things. It's really good size for every day. It is beautifully made, as they always are and sturdy and lightweight. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it.

Delivered in an Amazon branded box .This Kipling Asseni mini women's tote bag is a wonderful pink blush colour .Made from a shiney synthetic fabric it has the Kipling logo on the front .It has a zipped main compartment that measures about 17' across it has four compartments for wallets pens etc , and a zipped inside pocket .It has a D ring , the handles are made from a webbing type fabric there is also a shoulder strap a D ring and a little metal robot monkey .I like the look of the bag and the amount of space inside 0-10litres , I do however think that £65 is a bit rich for what is essentially a small shopping tote . Hence the removal of one star .

My daughter really likes the bag, not too big, not too small, yet large enough for what she needs to carry around.The bag itself is quite bling in rose gold, it is well made and robust. The stitching is good and the shoulder strap is built to last. At the same time it still feels 'girly', my daughters words not mine. She likes the way is shimmers in different light settings. The little silver Gorilla is a nice touch.Big enough for an iPad, keys, phone and all those bits and pieces that are likely to be stuffed inside it what's not to like.As to price, you get what you pay for.

Reveiw according to my wifethe bag is a made of a shimmery rose gold type material and feels nice but strong. Its very reflective in how it looks so it wont go with everything you wear but would suit everyday use to the right person. Its well made with strong stitching and it is finsihed well. It also has a a decent amount of room for daily stuff with many small compartments, and at the same time its not one of those huge bags you lose everything in. All in all a bright and fashionable bag. Price wise, you get what you pay for

My daughter uses this as her daily carry to work. Plenty of space though mysteriously not as big as it looks - do check the measurements if you have a device that definitely needs to fit for example. The material is weird, in a good way; it has a kind of 1970s space-age feel to it; like it's from a toy space suit or something. We both really like it. Rosy is a big fan of the bag having a lighter coloured interior for finding her mess! Also; the handles appear to be made from industrial strength tie-downs!

I am soon going to be looking after my baby Grandson and wanted a good but not massive sized bag that I can take out with me with travel changing mat, a few nappies, spare clothes etc but that would also be a nice handbag for me at other times. This seems like a perfect bag to suit both purposes. It has the handy key fob that many Kipling bags have. Personally I'm not keen on the plastic monkey but that can be removed.

Love love love this bag x it is perfect for me x I am able to put my A5 diary and a notebook in as well as day to day things. The best thing is I am not looking in all the different compartments for different things. I always thought Kipling bags with pockets would help me be organised but no, as I have historically forget where things are, not with this bag x love the size and low level organiser. Thank you Kipling.

I am so pleased with this Kipling Asseni S bag, metallic glow is such a warm pretty colour, the size is great you can fit such a lot in it and it's incredibly lightweight. I have taken the shoulder strap off as the 2 handles are long enough for you to wear over our shoulder should you wish - I personally think it looks smarter worn this way.

I gave this bag to my wife to use and she was very impressed with the quality and the design of the bag. The materials are very luxurious and the finishing is very nice indeed. There is plenty of room for everything she needs and she absolutely loves the design. She is using it as her daily use bag now as she loves it so much.

This lovely little tote has plenty of room for everyday items .I like Kipling because the zips are always best quality and the bags are so lightweight .I also like the colour, very feminine !The shoulder strap is useful and also has good sized handles .Nice and sturdy pockets inside

Purchased to replace my old favourite when zip broke. Still great quality but have deducted a star because the zip on the new one is opposite way around, so have to wear it the wrong way round, so zip closure is at front, away from pickpockets.

This is lovely bag nice blue colour with a contrasting strap, a little smaller than I expected but does hold a lot , well designed and good quality, one large pocket and a small inside zipped pocket I would definitely recommend.
