AcquisitionOne of the many gifts I have grown accustomed to receiving on Christmas are the endless storm of shower gel sets with counterpart deodorants, aftershaves and the 'Audi Toilets' as they are comically pronounced. Either I've given the impression that I'm a scent/toiletries enthusiast to someone in the family, sometime, somewhere or I've given off a smelly impression that needs rectifying. Either way, I'm not majorly keen on this sort of stuff, but I am hygienic damnit! Its just that I prefer to stick to what I know and use a specific brand and essence (2 at the moment, one local to Egypt the other discontinued). Much to my surprise, the other half came up trumps with this - make no mistake though,she wasn't trying her hardest to find something I'd like, no no no, she just indulged herself in some Xmas time shopping and chose the stink she liked best/wanted me to stank of. Unbeknownst to her at the time, I actually really like this one and here's why:PositivesFirst of all, I really like the bottle design and that is not a common thing for me as many Eau de Toilette's come in extremely feminine, colourful bottles or tins, that or just plain boring shapes with huge corporate branding slathered all over it. *This* bottle is classy and clean. The lid/top is in a faux alligator skin material in black (the box is covered in a silver rendition) and has a look reminiscent of a hip-flask, very manly. It's not a screw top but still spins and comes off with a firm hand so minimal chance of leakage. The glass has a dark grey tinge to it, looking a bit shadowy which is pretty cool, but even better is the suave shape which is effectively a curved oblong curving out on the front displaying the classic text of JIMMY CHOO MAN, the backside curving inwards. The bottle also shows the thickness of the glass, giving it that 3D effect and the liquid itself seems clear and not that p*ssy colour you find in most perfumes.NegativesThe brand made its name in the shoe-making department, in that respect, this product is not the no.1 item that the firm diverts all their efforts on - plus I don't get the obsession a lot of woman have about shoes :/ so it's neither the leading brand nor a particularly reputable one amongst the company of men - I don't really like the default name of 'MAN' either, too basic but then again it could have a ludicrously stupid name like all the others I see. Price - upwards of £50, it's a tad on the expensive side, especially for an average 100ml amount (Still, I'm grateful I have it). It is also available in smaller samples 50ml or 30ml, along with gift set versions which include a shower gel derivative.The SmellFinally, the all important part. The stank is particularly sporty, in a similar fashion to that first hit of shower gel as it lathers and the bubbles effervesce. A strong, soapy scent, meaning it is both clean and quite powerful, you can detect brief traces of a wood ingredient. While it isn't wildly original or stand out in a crowd, upon closer inspection, it's familiarity fades a tad and offers that little bit extra that makes it one star better than your average musk. I would certainly look to buy it when mine runs out, however it wouldn't necessarily be the first thing on my mind - plus I'd look for it online for a lower price and/or smaller bottle.

Let's get straight to the point. Is this a GENUINE Jimmy Choo perfume? Yes it is.The perfume has been bought for my boyfriend. The order has been fulfilled by Amazon itself. We made a comparison with the Jimmy Choo for men Eau De Toilette he already has and that has been bought in a physical shop.The packaging is the very same, we saw no misprints or other mistakes that led us to think that is not original.The perfume per se smelt slightly different, but not so much to say they are significantly different. The perfume bought on Amazon seemed to be slightly more intense and pungent, while the one from the old bottle seemed more gentle.Keep in mind that the perfume in the old bottle was at the very end of its life and it probably lost its original fragrance over time, hence the perceived difference.Some people said that the one sold on Amazon doesn't last as long as the one you can find in perfume shops. We made a comparison by spraying both of the aforementioned bottles on my boyfriend's wrists. Well, they lasted exactly the same. The test began at 8pm, at 9:15 the scent started to fade away, by 9:56 it was completely gone.So don't judge its authenticity by the time it stays on your body, the perfume just doesn't last that long. This is the reason why I am giving 4 stars rather than 5. Other than that, it is the best perfume out there in my and my boyfriend's opinion.

I would never of picked a Jimmy Choo aftershave off the shelf to test, thinking it was an overpriced woman's brand but how wrong am I!.Firstly the price was very reasonable for a bottle, actually cheaper than many of my favourite brands. The bottle is a nice design, definitely stands out from many others. The scent is really manly with a hint of musk but quite a light scent, not overpowering but definitely one that I didn't recognise. Smelt like a good strong top of the range aftershave.It didn't feel heavy on me and the scent lasted all day and most of the evening.My wife smelt it straight away and commented how nice it was, she was shocked when I told her it was a Jimmy Choo men's aftershave.I love it,definitely one that I would buy for my collection and I've purchased a bottle for my brother for Christmas. I have been sent a 2ml sample of Chimmy Choo Man Eau De Toilette to give my honest review on it.When I try aftershaves they all seem to smell the same to me untill I leave the shop and an hour later think, oh that smells nice what was it. So I sprayed this on to myself and again it had a generic chemical smell that I think all after shaves have but withing a few minutes I could smell the proper smell and I like it. Its a fresh, clean smell but still smells masculine. I have tried some others that you think are a little to much on thr perfume side. The after shave lasted most of thr day as well which is very important as you don't want to have to take a bottle out with you.Would I buy this?Yes definitely. I may even add it to my Xmas list. Only a single spray has me receiving compliments all day long and being asked "What are you wearing?". The 3.3 oz bottle should last quite a while since it is not necessary to use multiple times a day. This product will get you noticed and help you make a statement. It is the ideal fragrance for everyday use. The bottle has a sleek and contemporary feel that I am proud to display on my nightstand. I would recommend this product to any man in the market for a long-lasting fresh fragrance that does not overpower the senses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this cologne almost as much as my wife! It is a very clean fragrance and a little goes a long way! That is not only due to the fragrance itself, but the atomizer is one of the best I have seen. I hate cologne bottles that almost stream the cologne concentrating it in one area making you want to use another spray. The atomizer on this bottle finely mists the fragrance so that one spray covers a greater area. I have several bottles of cologne in my arsenal, but Jimmy Choo Man has quickly became my go to for everyday use!

Refreshing, masculine and bold, this fragrance will certainly not let the modern man down. It’s fragrance range is huge and I get so many compliments about it, I wear it mainly at work but feel this fragrance would be suited for any time use. It’s fragrance lasts for a long time, I’d say around 5/6 hours which is ideal, I only use a small spray of fragrance and it’s more than enough. I have quite a few friends that swear that this is the best scent out right now as far as new and trending with popularity. I am not sure that is the case or if its just talk but what I can talk about is the quality of the bottle and the power of the scent. Absolutely the best by far in my book. My go to every day cologne. I love smelling myself wearing it but I also get lots of compliments too.

Has a great high quality look to it. Very sleek. I love leaving it out for decoration. The scent is amazing. It has a such a clean scent to it. Very masculine. It lasts all day on me no matter if I spray it on my skin or on my clothing. It doesn't over power you, but you can definitely smell it. Very pleased with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Jimmy Choo Man cologne spray smells really good. I tend to like colognes that are not too strong or too weak. It's tough to find one that won't overwhelm others or one that people can't even smell. This one definitely has a good balance. I wore it the other night to meet some friends after being cooped up for weeks and I actually got some compliments on the cologne. I told them it was Jimmy Choo Man spray. Would definitely recommend.

I received a sample of this whilst looking for a new aftershave. The masculine fragrance carries a warm, woody aromatic scent thats full of modern day freshness. You get an initial scent that it’s made up of fruity and floral notes like lavender and mandarin and then as it settles into your skin you start to smell the woody notes start to come through.
