This shirt is thicker and warmer fleece than I expected. It can stand up to colder weather on its own. Last night, middle of February, I wore this out to dinner and hockey practice. Didn't miss my coat at all. It's plenty thick. Sometimes even too warm. The fit isn't the greatest. Tends to bunch up, but I don't mind so much. It could just be me. Seems tough. Don't think I'm going to break it.

Nice shirt, warm and comfortable, my son likes it very much. Would like to buy more in darker color.
