I don’t normally do reviews but wanted to give others a chance to read this before buying. Some good points and one bad point.The kite came on time and was packed in a neat bag. Opened kite and really clear instructions on how to set up the kite. It was easy just tie the strings on and you are good to go. The strings are wound around a plastic holder which is a really good idea as you can wind and unwind both strings at the same time. At the end of the strings (the bit you hold) have soft material handles great idea. The kite is great value for money and flys very good. My only problem was the first time I few the kite within 60 seconds of the kite being in the air the string around the handle Snapped.

After trying the one I bought for my son in law, my husband ditched his cheapo kite he got from B&Q and ordered the next version of this kite, and a bigger one!.Again the item was delivered ahead of the expected arrival date, so we went down to the beach the same day to try it out.The kite packs into a very small bag, so is perfect for just leaving in the car or carrying on your belt. My husband loved it! The wind was about 20 mph in strength, and the kite gave him the "pull" he was looking for. It was very stable in flight and turned very quickly. An ideal recreational kite.This seems to be becoming an addiction, he is now thinking of buying a bigger 4 line kite!

A friend introduced me to power kite flying. After a few minuets I understood what all the excitment was all about. How naive had I been. Missing out on total focus sport in the fresh air. After much searching I settled on the 2.2m Symphony Beach III. In Light winds my Daughter had control for a week or two, then the winds shot up to 30mph plus mid Aug. A 1.3m was ordered Symphony Beach flame for my chidler. I found this kite (and the 1.3 ) to have strong cords that handle aggresive movements in strong winds. Enjoying the excitment of total focus along with time at the park with my Daughter.

I teach kiting & have bought many trainer kites. I have spent triple the amount for kites that dont have the power or performance of the Symphony HQ.The Symphony HQ has a far better wind range and more power than all other kites of the same size that I have flown.It is very difficult to stall, has a larger wind window and has awesome relaunch if the students crash.I recommend the HQ for beginners or advanced & say dont waste your money on other more expensive brands coz you will not have the performance of the HQ

Instructions were clear and informative product quality is very good with ripstop nylon material for the Kite and quality lines and handles. difficult to say for beginners as Powerkites by their nature are 'Powerful' so my first couple of flights were a tad busy as the wind speed was gusting and I spent most of the time keeping my feet on the ground but now I have read the manual a couple of times plus practice I am now enjoying it :-) so please take your time read the manual and check out the videos etc on the net.

HI,got this kite a few days ago top quality kite.took it for its first outing wow no problems very responsive and very fast wind speed 15mph this kite pulled hard it was awesome.very easy to read instructions and easy to fly for those who have flew kites before.i own 16 kites these HQ kites are top quality for little money you simply cant go wrong buying a HQ kite.its fantastic quality this kite flew like a dream.ALIEN

Amazing fun kite, plenty of pull in high and moderate winds.. Nice stable flight..Have the smaller 1.3m for my 10year old as this one would be too much for a smaller child..Worth spending bit more on this kite than some of the cheaper options if you want to really have some fun and good workout at the same time...

Only had one chance to fly it, as anything more than 25/30kph would pull you off your feet! Would maybe have gone for the next size down (I bought the 2.2M) to make it usable when very windy. Also worth trial assembling at home, as doing it when windy is quite tricky. Great value and seems well built.

I bought a 1.3m first, but then had to buy a 2.2m cause it was more fun. What a great gift and present!! Love it and so will you. Shame they don't do a 3m one. A 3m would be a lifelong pal, but for now I recommend the 2.2m as a first power kite. Buy it! Buy it! Buy it!! :)

Great fun for all ages, works in light breezes to strong winds. We got it caught in a tall tree during a strong gust when my 9 year old let go, after 30mins tugging it through branches it came free with only one string snapped and repaired easilly, incredibly strong build.

good kite it has a fair bit of pull and can dislodge your shoulder joint if not care full I had problems with the string and spent some time trying to unravelin the end i replaced with a heavy duty para cord works great and can be a bit of a work out in strong winds

Fantastic product, very easy to fly, works in very low wind (3-5mph) and a great workout in stronger winds also.It is an "adult" kite though as I would imagine it would lift a lighter person off the ground in a gust!

For what this kite costs it’s hard to see how you can get anything better. Flying is incredibly easy at low wind speeds and it’s a real workout in high winds. Perfect for beginners. Couldn’t recommend this enough.

Very compact and lightweight.Has a relatively strong pull, but don't expect to be lifted in the air.The perfect size for a bit of fun that the whole family can get involved with.

Awesome.Careful not to hold onto the lines when the kite is powered down, I did and it suddenly powered up and almost lost my finger.Hours of fun to be had.
