I got two of these as a way to encourage the kids away from technology.I went for this style of kite due the compact design and the lack of hard frame. In the past I have used framed kites with my kids and it always seems to around the frame where the kite breaks rendering it useless. This kite with its sled design has no hard parts to shatter or break through in the inevitable event of a crash. Also, the lack of a frame removes the option of improvised weapons (sticks fencing swords you get the idea).on the test run with the kids on Sunday and they both flew really well. I was pleasantly surprised that both of the kids had fun running up and down a field trying to see who could get the kite higher.

the kite flew extremely well and it maintained good balance in the air .flew higher than expected. I thought it needed more technique to fly, and the funny thing was that when I held it up so that it could catch with the wind, it just shot up in the air!!! Had a lot of fun playing with it with my dad and and we spent a good 2 hours in the field! It also has a very long line and you can impress people by how high it goes! Great kite and folds up easily in a small durable bag, and folds up to be a very large kite. It looks very beautiful in the sky and stays up in the air for a long time.very easy to fly and worth the money!

A good starter kite which is easy to fly. I wanted my daughter to have a go flying a kite so after looking around settled on this one.It comes neatly folded in a pouch. Ince extracted you need to attach the kite to the line via a plastic loop. The kite has lightweight construction so I wouldn’t fly it in anything but a strong breeze. It achieves good height and the tail keeps the kite at the right angles for flight.My daughter loved it and that alone makes it worth the money.

Much better than expected! The kite lifted with little difficulty and keeping it under control was so simple. I bought this as a gift for my friend who had never had flown a kite before (also really difficult to buy for) and he really loved it. I had seen comments about how it was a great purchase for kids or people who had very little experience with flying one before, and I agree!

Great starter or occasional use kite. Used it loads on our last holiday near the beach in North Wales. Really easy to get out of the pouch/bag, vey simple to unfold it and once the wind catches it it's up and very, very easy to fly! Brilliant kite, given me and my daughter hours of fun so we now want to move on to bigger kites on our next holiday! Buy one now, you won't regret it!

I don’t normally write reviews but for a cheap kite this was brilliant I was trying to find one like what I had when I was young apart from the colour this is spot on went up easy, had a guy near me trying to fly a big kite the old mine is bigger than yours going on, well without the aid of a blue pill I got mine up with easy, he needed help.

Currently, the kite is somewhere in the Atlantic after my daughter let it go while flying it on the beach. We spent an hour picking up litter through guilt.Very easy to fly – just unpack it and away it goes. My daughter loved it and I will get her another one but will wait a while so she knows that they don't grow on trees.

My 4 year old was given one by his uncle. Great little kite. We have a stunt kite as well which is hard to handle and the kids repeatedly crash it. This parafoil is far better for young kids staying up in the air on very light breezes.Worked beautifully until the 2 year olds let go and it gets tangled in a pylon.

Packs away really small so ideal to take out on day trips. We tried it at the beach and it didn't take much to get it flying (none of the running up and down I remember from my childhood with flat kites). Easy to use. Lovely long line and pretty rainbow coloured tail. Toddler enjoyed flying it and I did too!

It doesn't look like much on the ground but it is very easy to fly, nice size and colourful once on the air, with a long tail too. We had great fun over the weekend with a 6 and a not yet 3 year old. Both were able to fly it on their own. And a few people asked were we had got it. I really recommend it.

This is a great little kite; looks beautiful up in the air, easy to fly, and the best part was that it kept twirling and dive bombing my boyfriend!! Even if he stood off to the side, as the kite was descending it would swoop at him every time even though I was just stood still!

Just flew this on the beach in Mallorca with my Grandson. Easy to assemble and set up, couldn't keep it in the air for to long, finally realised it needed a little weight on the tail, ties on an empty water bottle and it worked a treat. Great fun for the 6 year old and me.

Very simple and easy to fly. Great first kite, not one to do tricks with but fun to fly. Small light-weight pouch contains lovely colourful kite with long tail with bows on. It is soft, so no worries about it crash landing onto anyone!
