I was sitting in my flat and realised that I didn't have an effing big beach ball. Inflatable shark- check, inflatable seagull - check, effing big beach ball - no check.A quick search of Amazon came up trumps again, an effing big beach ball for only a couple of quid. I quickly ordered one and stalked the postman for two days until my effing big beach ball arrived.I have to admit that it was a while before I inflated my brand new effing big beach ball. My worry was that I may die if I did it whilst alone so had to wait until a friend was over before I tackled the task of blowig it up.It was worth the effort, the three syncopes, the cerebral bleed and the asthma attack,

"An elephant can even play with it..." But alas not 5 children and a trampoline. A split about 2cm long soon appeared. Shame as the shrieks of delight from the kids and for me who just had to have a play it was great fun. Was going to buy another as the party I'd bought the first one for loomed. Then I hit on the idea of trying to repair it. I had some plastic similar to the ball that a recorder had arrived in. Cut a square put glue on the ball and square and stuck (won't work on soft plastic I then read on the glue). As it wasn't melting then smeared glue around the edge of the patch and smoothed some on the top for good measure, using a piece of cardboard to spread it about. Did this twice.

The ball arrived Flat after 1 hour of blowing it became a big ball ( a lady of the night from Soho would portably have it blown ! In 5 minutes ) Not recommended for heavy smokers like me as I fainted twice due to blowing effort !I bought this ball for my 3 Clydesdale horses to teach them how to play football. One of the horses Rosie is so good that she has been asked to play for England at the next International match. I am all delighted as this means that Rosie is either a fantastic player or the England Team are Crap !!! I am Irish by the way so no bias intended !!!Anyway back to the ball, excellent good company no problems at all feel safe dealing with company.Martin Mc Larnon

There is no way this is a 42" diameter ball. Blew it up to "safe" level and it gets to 28" dia (90" circumference). Could go a bit further (30-32" maybe) but never close to 42" (unless that is the stress / blowup point). Even the promo pictures in the Internet show that it is not even close to the size advertised (unless they are using 10 foot models to demo the ball). That minor point aside it is still a great product for the price and we are gonna have a lot of fun playing with it. It would be better if they were a bit more realistic with the sixe but even at 28-30" real diameter it is BIG ball and it is FUN!

Looked for an additional option to my 4 year old's birthday party (held in a hall). And I bought 5 of these along with a lot of balloons - and just released them... A massive massive hit (particularly for the parents!) - particularly because of the size compared to your average littlun. They weren't too heavy for the children (including when they were bouncing at them) and they were naturally very buoyant (the balls not the children). Easy enough to pump (took much longer to deflate) and included with repair kits, Now to take them to the beach!

I was worried about buying a beach ball online as I couldn't be sure it would be the exact size as written in the description. But to my amazement it is!It is even bigger than I estimated but I am overall so happy with this product.I am using this beach ball for a sculpture project and it is perfect!The material is sturdy and would take a lot of force to pop. It is a great size for the beach or pool if you are going on vacation.I highly recommend this beach ball and the price point is brilliant for such a large product!- Miss M

I got this giant 42" clear beach ball from INTEX with coloured spots on, to do 'looner' content with (inflatables lovers). I must say im very impressed with it and really love the product! Great price for a great quality.It blows up easily, the materials used are strong and also have a nice smell to them also. I have sat/laid on this beachball and it did not burst or go down! I love the see through and spotty colours design. It is a great size to play with.Great fun for ALL ages, kids and adults! :)

Wow this ball is fantastic. (Very large as stated!)Took it to an after school club and played indoor volley ball for 30mins plus with 4-11 years olds playing wild. Then used it outside on concrete with 2 year olds in a toddler group they rolled on it ( was terrified it would burst but its fine ) and am now taking it on holiday with the grandchildren to use in the pool and on the beach. Very good value for money and a very prompt delivery. Am thinking of buying a second one as a standby.......Fab!

This is a fantastic, robust ball that my 7 year old son and his friends have had hours of fun with in the garden. It's huge, unbelievably great value and has taken a real beating - it's been kicked, rolled on, bounced and thrown daily for months on end as well as being used in the paddling pool! I've just recently bought a couple of replacements, following a particularly huge belly flop onto it, which burst the ball. I was very surprised that it lasted so long! I thoroughly recommend this ball!

super big size, like one of those balls you see at the gym for balance and sit ups. very colourful. its been durable so far. we have it outside, lots of small branches and sticks, with no issues. 4 boys range 4-8yo kicking it as hard as they can at each other, trees, the football goal, shrubs, etc. the kids also like to jump on it and bounce off. actually really surprised it hasnt popped. it does come with a patching kit just in case as well. several neighbours have asked me where i got it.

This was the best of the bunch. Many other balls had bad reviews about seals splitting so I decided on this one.I can happily say this was battered around the pool in volleyball and kicked around the edge of the pool by the kids and never showed any signs of rips, wear or deflation.Now we're back from holiday we still blow this up during the summer to knock about the trampoline and have it in the living room sometimes for fun on rainy days.Great ball and worth investing in!

My kids absolutely love this ball I bought it for them to play with in the garden when they get the paddling pool out. It's absolutely huge! The bright colours are great and the quality of the material is good too it's stays inflated for a long time and it's folds down to a really small size when not in use so it's easy to store away. The price is also fantastic if you are looking for a huge beach ball then you definately will not be dissappointed with this one.

I originally bought this ball a couple of yeasrs ago and it lasted well. However, a second purchase at Christmas time and it only lasted a couple of weeks before getting a puncture - it's great for its price but I just wish it would have lasted longer! You can't get many balls that big, especially so cheaply and it makes a fab present and I'm sure it'd be great on the beach - I suspect it got caught on a rogue bit of Lego! It was easy to inflate though :)

ok so before i start i should have got out my tape measure and physically measured how big this would be. it is bigger than a 2-3yr old child and thats no exaggeration. so for a bit of fun on the beach as in beach volleyball or in a large garden this would be perfect. for use in a home pool id say just a tad toooooo big.saying that kids love it and for the money you cant complain.now off to buy a slightly more average size ball for the pool

Huge beach ball. Bigger than my 2 toddlers but we've all enjoyed playing with it. Having to buy another as the dog got too excited and put a hole in it! Arrived within 2 days of ordering and defo ordering again. Takes forever to blow up and eventually gave in and got out the electric pump. Would recommend, not just for the beach but excellent to kick/throw around in the garden.
