As another reviewer noted, these are pretty small in size, but for me, that is an advantage! I keep them in my daughters' swim bag, and use them frequently in the pool. The "seaweed" is easy for small hands to grab, and they are small enough to put in a pocket of swim shorts, or even tuck into a swimsuit if needed. My 4yr old daughter has great fun with these, and loves diving for them. They are good enough quality to be used fairly regularly, although they won't last forever. If you are looking for a fun addition to your pool toys, or want something fun for holidays, I'd recommend (they are also light enough not to impact any suitcase packing issues).

I am currently learning to swim and bought these to give myself goals for swimming underwater.I found them to be great, and spreading them out in ever increasing in length lines has been giving me the challenge I wanted. I am now getting more and more confident when underwater and no longer panic when I think I have ran out of air, as I have these to focus on and don't actually need to go up for a breath.The tassels make them easy to hold on to while swimming, not sure how long they will hold up, but they feel secure enough for what I am using them for.

Simple and effective play items for kids swimming/diving. The kids really enjoyed them and the dive balls worked well, being easy to see in the swimming pool. Compared to the other similar toys, eg the dolphins, these dive balls went to the bottom of the pool quite quickly making them more exciting for experienced and confident children, as they had to dive to the bottom of the pool to get them. These toys not allowed on water slides.

Our 2 daughters 4 and 3 are confident swimmers and enjoy using these in the pool. The product itself will go to the bottom of the pool when dropped into the water and our girls can go underwater and pick them up with the cloth tags which float upwards. They are easily distinguishable in the water due to the bright colours. Would definitely recommend to other parents who are looking their children to have more confidence underwater.

These look like a bit of a boring gift but our son loves them, he cant swim yet but these encouraged him to try and to dive under water to retrieve them on a recent holiday.They are durable and easy to clean / store, they will be fine in the UK pools to grow confidence and once swimming they can be used to work on swimming under water / diving skills.Very pleased with these.

I bought these to keep my son entertained in the pool at our villa. He spent ages every day throwing them into the water and diving down to try to retrieve them. They are small enough to pack in any case easily, and don't weigh very much. They survived our holiday (which is more than I can say for the lilo!), and have come home to be used again.

I bought these to take on holiday - we all enjoyed every minute. The "tails" are soft, so they take up next to no room in your packing, the weighted ends mean they can be thrown & caught as well as sinking to the bottom of the pool for diving - delivers exactly what we wanted. Children & adults from 5 -105 would enjoy these in a pool.

Bought these for my 7 year old's pool party and he and his friends loved them and played for ages, trying to get a certain colour I called out etc. The material waves about and brightly coloured for ease to see and grab under the water. Gives kids the confidence to duck under the water and open their eyes.

Not had these long enough to comment in durability however they work well for the intended purpose. They sunk swiftly and are easy for small children’s hands to grab them under water. The sinker hard plastic and the rails “neoprene like” material.4 yo likes them. Overall good value.

Took these in holiday with the kids and they were perfect. We were there for two weeks and they had completely faded and a few had broken.We did leave them in the pool for a long time though so it might just have been ours. Great for holiday fun though. Would really recommend.

packs down smaller than rings, if you go to and from the pool with as much clobber as we do then that got to be of interest.Not suitable for playing badminton with - in case you were wonderingI'd recommend them, good value, arrived quickly, quality seems fine

Bought these for my 8 year old Grandson. He loves them and really brought on his confidence in the water. He loves diving for them or just swimming to the bottom of the pool to retrieve them. Would definitely recommend them to help with confidence in water.

Got these to encourage my four year to do more than just stand still in our new pool (summer 2014). These are great and actually feel a good weight and build. The "weed" is a woven fabric material and the overall product fels well made and robust.

My 3 sons were very pleased with these as a Christmas gift, they could not wait to try them out in the swimming pool, my 3 year old very pleased with himself that he could pick them up off the bottom of the pool floor.

Bought these for teaching my little sister how to swim. She loves them and they sink faster than dive sticks. The 'sea weed' part will start to fall apart though, but this looks like it would be easy enough to replace.
