Present for my Mum as she’s trying to lose weight/get fit and wanted a budget fitness tracker. Sceptical to buy this because of some reviews stating issues of connection/bad app/inaccurate, but risked it as majority are good reviews and I’m very glad I did! She’s had the watch 2 weeks now and it’s been excellent for what she’s needed (track walks/bike rides and sleep/calories/heart rate). To track bike rides you need to take your phone to track (but that’s the same with a Fitbit). Compared it to my Fitbit and pretty much the same accuracy if not only slightly different tracking distance (not major at all) - wished I’d gone for this instead of expensive tracker!Very easy to set up.Watch requested update once fully charged and paired with phone app - no issues and fairly quick. No problems downloading/connecting/using the app on iPhone 7.All tracking very accurate and impressed with “find my phone” function too. Sleep tracker is very accurate as she checked the time when she woke up during the night and it was identical to the app analysis in the morning. Battery life is great, lasts a week or so with basic use everyday and charges very quickly - love that there are no extra cables and it just charges through a usb plug like most smartphones! If there was anything at all to niggle about it would be the screen size is a little on the small side but definitely nothing to complain about for the price!Overall very pleased with this tracker and already recommended to a lot of friends. A great start up basic tracker for beginner/moderate daily exercise at an amazing price!

I've had this for about a week. I bought it to replace my amazfit bip for my workouts. I got fed up with the bip saying after 4 hours in the gym I'd burnt 29cals! This Huawei band 4 is far more accurate. There is no free training option on the bip so the closest one was treadmill. But the free training{measuring heart rate}, gives far more useful feedback on the band 4.It's very minimal as a fitness tracker usually is. I quite like a bigger smartwatch but I've become attached to the minimal look as well now.The strap is sturdy and I would say better than the bip.I do miss the always on of the bip. One has to touch this device or switch it to be always on, which being a lighted screen on option will use up battery life. However, while training the device is always screen on.I don't track my sleep so I tend to switch my device off before bed.The battery life is totally acceptable with an accurate 7 days without massive heavy use. A quick charging can get back up to 100% in no time. The price is very competitive. The accompanying phone heath app is reasonable, but those looking for lots of data from it will find it a bit thin.I've taken it on a walk and it's accurate. Although I've not really over-analysed it. The bip is very good for running. But this one will be just as good. The big plus is in a gym with weights, the minimal footprint means it's unlikely it will get damaged or scratched.

Felt it was time I bought one of these fitness trackers and wasn't willing to spent the money a Fitbit requires - my mobile is an Honor (made by Huawei) so figured sticking to the same brand would work best.It tracks steps really well, can be good for tracking heart rate and movement in workouts, is great for keeping on top of messages/notifications and that's about it really. That's all I was looking for, and it has fulfilled those needs. The reason I only gave it four stars and not five? Well, firstly the calories burnt are highly exaggerated, so don't go thinking you've earned yourself a Dominos pizza after a run. But most importantly, the screen is super super sensitive - to a frustrating point.I discovered how sensitive when I went for a hike in poor weather and wore my sleeves down to my wrists - every time my sleeve brushed against the screen, it would cause something to happen (start a workout, open my messages, etc.) This happens whenever I brush the watch against clothing, my hands passes over it, whatever and it can get rather annoying. So long and short of it; good item that will give you the basics (step counter, workout tracker, messages/notifications and sleep tracker - which I've never used so can't comment on), however be aware of the ridiculously sensitive screen.

Most of the reviews appear to be related to the Band 3 models. I just bought my first smart watch or fitness tracker and it was the Band 4 (£29).Well I think that for the modest price - its a brilliant little gadget. Its compatible with my old iphone SE, although you only get a large choice of faces on android. The Heart Rate monitor is very accurate, and the sleep monitor is also very useful and interesting to note that its been checked by the University of Berne.Had a little trouble getting it started and it seems to only 'like' certain USB ports, so try a few..The ability to record either an indoor/outdoor workout (run/cycle/walk)and monitor your heart rate and distance might seem normal for experienced users but for a newbie it’s a revelation..All in all for such a modest price its a great buy, and it works with any phone on android or ios

Wow. I pondered over this device for a while I have had a Fitbit Alta & a charge 2. Both of which were good at the time. But I wanted something a bit more up to date and didn’t like the price of the Fitbit versa and some of the reviews for then either. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this device. The coloured, clear, bright screen is a nice change from the Fitbit one. The alarm, stopwatch, timer etc all great features. The sleep analysis is much better IMO than Fitbit It looks lovely on the wrist too. I went for the gold and pink one so it matches my jewellery. All notifications come thru from PayPal, Instagram, WhatsApp, messenger, messages etc.You can even turn the brightness of the screen down at bedtime which I couldn’t do on my Fitbit. All in all for £53 this is an excellent product!!!

I sent this device back after 24hrs as due to multiple devices reviewed on the same page on amazon I miss understood the functionality of this particular device. That said this a fantastic device for the price. Its comfortable and easy to use. The App is not the best (but remember this is a budget device so you cant complain to heavily). The sleep tracking is very good as is the pedometer and the message display from the phone is very good, but it does little more than this.I wanted the swimming and fitness tracking and purchased the Honour Band as a replacement which does many more things for barely £10 more.Again budget device so limitations of the app and the device are accepted but its a fantastic device as well.

I’ve had this band for a week now and loving it. It’s nice to look at, comfortable to wear, easy to use and seems to be pretty accurate. I had a few issues with syncing to the app at the start but I’m pretty sure that was user error! I got it mainly for the HR monitor and GPS for running. The price was a major pull as similar products from other big name manufacturers that offer in built GPS are considerably more expensive. My only criticism is the sleep tracker. It’s not remotely accurate! It told me I was in a light sleep whilst I was at work on my tea break. I definitely wasn’t! It also told me I was in a light sleep during the night when I was definitely awake. I’d definitely recommend this product, great value.

I've had 2 fitbits and they just don't compare well to this, and the Huawei band is a fraction of the price! Love that I don't have to take it off to have a shower, love that's it goes from 5%battery to 100%battery in about an hour on a standard USB charge. The app interface is really easy to navigate. Data can be saved and shared easily. The GPS functionality is really good, I use it for both walking and cycling and it's incredibly accurate. The only gripe I have is with the range of sports modes you can select. I find that I often use 'free training' where I'd want to input 'circuit training' or 'weight training'... But it's a minor thing that wouldn't stop me buying it again.

Really happy with my purchase. I opted for this version solely so I could have the pink and rose gold version as I wanted something that looked like a watch if i was wearing it all the time. I love the interchangeable face screens and it pays for itself purely on the find my phone function! "I'm here...." it shouts until you find it.Great tracking for runs and walks, will test out swimming on holiday.Seems accurate to me, though I soon realised it doesn't track my steps if pushing a pram but I'm sure this is like all trackers.Battery life is around 5 days I'd say, depends if u have it track your sleep. I like this function if only to comment how many times the kids woke me!

We liked it so much we bought a second one for my son who is very tech savvy and thinks for the money it does everything a much more expensive watch does better. He has used it for sleep and also running and it provides regular accurate results. It is light weight and waterproof so can wear it even when he is jet washing his car, brilliant piece of kit. I wear mine because had a heart bypass operation a year ago and need to monitor my heart and also how much walking I do daily and even when my scar (on the left arm) I found I could still wear this lightweight watch. Don't pay silly money for something this watch does effortlessly.

Got this for £25. A bargain at that price.Yes, it is lacking in some features, but if you just want a simple exercise tracker, it will do the job!Battery lasts ages, even with sleep tracking enabled, I am getting a full week.Talking of sleep tracking, I think it is a little gimmicky. Seems to pick up bed time and wake time OK, though sometimes doesn't report "Awake" time when I know I woke up in the night.I use it mainly for easy access to step count and also to keep track of distance and time when out on a bike ride with my kids when my phone is stuffed in a back pack. One niggle - Screen isn't the brightest outside.

21.2.2020

I purchased this as a starter (haven't worn a watch in about 20 years) didn't want to spend a lot of money if I just couldn't get on with wearing one. Read a few reviews that said battery life wasn't ideal. I've had it a week and not had to charge it yet. I have the Huawei p30 pro, so the app was already on my phone to store information. Was really simple to pair to my device, its comfortable to wear, think for basic use like I am using it for, its really good, haven't yet used all the features. But overall I'm pretty pleased with it, and already looking for a more sophisticated hauwei smart watch.

3.8.2020

I bought this watch for my daughter, as my wife and I had already purchased one each previously and really liked them. They are fairly easy to set up and the app was easy to download and use. We got them originally for monitoring steps, but as it does heart rate and sleep monitoring, it has become an everyday object that we wouldnt want to be without. We all compare how many steps we have done and how much sleep we have had, almost like a trophy..!Great battery life of nearly a week and charges in about an hour or so.Great product and terrific value as well as being comfortable to wear.

11.6.2020

This is an upgrade from the Band 2, which I have to say there is nothing wrong with but fancied a newer band as I wear it pretty much 24/7.I really like this one. Love the colour and it’s as comfortable as my older one.I find this one to be accurate and easy to read with a great updated face.My only gripe (and it’s only a small one) is that the extra watch faces available are for android users only and I have an iPhone. All in all I’m happy with the upgrade and Huawei are a good solid reliable manufacturer and I’ve only had good experiences in the past. Would be happy to recommend.

3.2.2020

I have been impressed with the quality and accuracy of this for the price. I already had a Huawei phone, so the Health app was already installed. I can see my email, messenger, text and Whatsapp notifications as well as notifications from my Neos security cameras. Sleep tracking has lots of information and step count uses both watch and phone counts to come up with a figure. I have checked heart rate figures against other specialist machines and differences are very minor. Apple watch users at work were aghast at the features included at far below their £200 price tag. Recommended.
