I am writing this review after using the band for about 1 month now. I bought the Band 3 Pro after looking for an activity tracker that recorded my steps/runs, heart rate, sleep, and was able to do swim tracking. The Fitbit Charge 3 is laughable in swim tracking, and the Garmin Vivosmart 4 is sadly inadequate when it came to sleep tracking, and so I really was glad to stumble across this - and this has been amazing. I want to give as much information as I can without writing an essay so here goes:1) Look and Feel (4/5):It is neat and slim. It has a slightly long watch face so someone with a narrow wrist might find it sticking out slightly. The band is steady and easy to wear.Looks sleek and good too.The watch software itself is pretty easy to navigate. Its touch responsive and swiping up and down between menus is quite easy. Haven’t had any issues through my usage. If the screen gets wet though responsiveness does decrease; which is normal. After the update there is now an extra analogue watch face too, bringing the total to 3 watch faces. I am not too fussed about watch faces so this is perfectly fine for me.2) Companion App (3.5/5):You will need two Huawei Apps to pair the device and get it to work The Huawei Health App is the main one, and pairing is ultra easy. Just update the device list first or the Band 3 Pro wont appear. Once updated, the Band 3 pro pairs, and can set up the functionality such as notifications and such pretty easily. The app is a little quirky and not as advanced as the Fitbit one, but it is miles ahead of Xiaomi health app. There is TONS of information collected by the band itself and its presented quite well too.3) Fitness and Activity Tracking (4.5/5):Absolutely spot on here. My main activities are walking, running and swimming. So for me swimming was a big selling point in this band. Swim tracking is almost flawless and the amount of information and metrics you get is staggering. It is able to differentiate between the type of strokes used for each length and give very accurately the number of strokes and time taken. The only thing I would say is that pausing the activity seems to sometimes confuse the SWOLF calculations, so just continue unless it’s a very long pause. As for other activity tracking, it does outdoor runs and swims too using GPS which so far has been decently accurate. The indoor run tracking uses the basic concept of step tracking to count the distance but is surprisingly not far off either. Overall very happy.4) Sleep and Heart Rate (4.5/5):Heart rate is still one of the best I have seen on any wrist based sensors. Low heart rates (below 120 bpm) are very very accurate. While doing very intense activities the band will struggle like any smartwatch or wrist sensor, so just go for a chest strap if you want that. Sleep tracking is simply next level in terms of accuracy. It is honestly impressive with how it breaks down the sleep and even offers suggestions on how to improve it. It noticed I was sleeping later than usual for a few days and recommended I get back to my routine. Top marks for this. Best feature of the band!5) Smart Features and Battery Life (4.5/5):In terms of smart features, the band does have notifications for messages and phone calls and works on almost all messaging apps. You can’t reply of course, only read, but it is very handy. Battery life is not bad considering the amount of features it offers. With both continuous HR and Huawei Tru Sleep (advanced sleep tracking) enabled, and tracking a few activities through the week, I am able to get about 4 days on a full charge. If you turn some of the features above off, you will definitely get more. Using GPS on runs will of course drain this quicker.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. For this price point it is a bargain. Was so happy with this got my girlfriend one as well and she absolutely loves it. It does everything it claims to do very well and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good tracker that does swim tracking, and isn’t looking for a $400 watch.

Its unpaired a few times-When i connected it to my Samsung galaxy s9 plus it has had some issues where i had to unpair it because the devices wouldnt connect which is annoying. The app-Not only does it ask for IMEI before use but it also has quite a bit of tracking and requires the location as soons as you enter the app alongside recording messages, calls, etc.The heart rate monitor-Doesnt seem the most accurate as reviewed before by others and I myself can tell differences between this and even my phone. The strap doesnt look the toughestAND NOW THE GOOD:It is cheap and yet well built-The AMOLED monitor is an awesome feature and everything on screen looks high quality,no pixel disfigurement. The battery-I never wanted these bands and watches fearing the battery would drain fast, and yet, this one lasts me a week at least! I dont usually wait until it uncharges only put it on charge when im washing and that does really well. Its up to 50m (claimed) waterproof-This is the only real reason i bought this, I love the fact that it also holds swimming dataalthough it has no depth meter (sadly), i use it alongside my suunto core and its a great balance for anything reallyI love the tracking-As other reviews show, the sleep tracker has even been said to be better than that on the fitbit! (Round of applause), it truly feels immersive and everything is explained about rem, light and deep sleep, sleep schedules and more. It also tracks your breathing through the night. The heart rate monitor can also be kept on continuously and then through the app you can check the resting heart rate, heart rate range and high heart rate alert for the day, week, month or year.Running and gps-I havent tried this myself yet however as on other reviews, it mentions that the band takes some time first setting up a signal so its better to set it up before the run and because this pro 3 band has its own integrated gps, you can leave your phone at home (though beware no music can be played on the band).OVERALL-Although i only had this band pro 3 for 3 days, i will do an update review soon after testing out the band under 3-4metres under water and after doing some test runs to see how accurate data transfers are.Update 1-After trying it for quite a while longer i noticed a few things..The pin holding the strap inside the watch circumference is often undone and is annoying as it gets stuck in my shirt, in bed etc.The gps functionality is really awesome and seems accurate although it will not catch a gps signal inside, i reccomend moving outside and for me it caught a signal pretty fast! The sleep function seems quite good- on the nights i slept well i seen good deep sleep continuity HOWEVER i have woken up several times and many of these were not registeredThe heart rate monitor- quite often i see weird spikes of up to 130bpm for less than a minute, once even when i was asleep which i dont think is too accurate as i am both young and active.

I've only had my Huawei band 3 pro for a few days, but I'm already well impressed. After charging it up, it came on, but in Chinese. "Oh, no!" I thought "What have I ordered!" But once I'd downloaded the Huawei Health app to my phone, and it located the watch, the watch automatically switched to English. Phew! After that, setting it up was easy-peasy.The step counts are fairly close to reality for me. I must have looked quite strange pacing up and down the garden, counting then looking at my watch. I've not tried any of the exercise modes yet, so can't comment on how accurate they will be.Heart rate and sleep mode seem to be reasonably accurate, too. The app breaks your sleep period down between deep and light sleep, and has a graphic timeline of how you slept - including when you got up to go to the bathroom!I found the default setting of having the watch come on when you raise your arm a bit too sensitive. Yes, it's a great feature but it came on every time I moved! Fortunately, you can disable that so you need to touch the screen for it to come on. It works on pretty much any part of your body, so it doesn't have to be your other hand.Regarding the watch face itself, there are three options to choose from. There's the digital display with the time in white and blue (default), another digital one with your steps, calories and kms, and finally an analogue display. I found the default the best size. Although I prefer analogue faces, this one's just a bit too small, and I can't quite read it without my glassesThe phone call notifications are a bonus. My train commute is on a noisy old diesel, so I don't always hear my phone ringing - even with vibrate mode, and having the phone in my pocket doesn't work. However, the watch vibrating can't be missed (I was asleep at the time), and having the caller's number flash up is brilliant. If you've given the app access to your contacts, the contact name appears instead (the same goes for texts), so, you can chose to ignore the call without rummaging around for your phone.Another useful feature is the find my phone button. As long as the watch and phone are in bluetooth range and connected, when you press this button, the phone will call out "I'm here". I find that much easier to locate than a beep.I've not had it long enough to comment on the battery life. I've had it for 3 days now, had it on constantly, and keep exploring different aspects, and it's still on 80% charge. Looks like the 12 day claim is valid. All in all, a marvelous gadget. Now, where are my running shoes?

I decided for Huawei Band 3 Pro because I already have a Huawei mobile phone and I thought the integration would be seamless. In general it is a good device and good value for money. But in the fitness tracker market it is a cheap device, and as such - it does have its flaws.- BATTERY - when using GPS 1-2 times per week, tracking workouts 5 times per week (1 hour each), sleep monitor and GPS enabled - the battery lasts for 6 days.- TRACKING - GPS tracking is good and quite accurate- TOUCHSCREEN - not very responsive, you need to fiddle and touch/swipe multiple times before it actually reacts. It almost looks like the touch-sensitive area on the screen is very narrow. Also,it is not clear/intuitive in which menu you need to swipe to sides and in which you need to press. I still haven't managed to figure out what to do with alarm clock in the morning, so when I wake up I just give it a beating until it stops.- SLEEP MONITOR - not very accurate, you just have to trust what they call 'Harvard Metrics'. Also it did not pick up multiple times when I got up in the middle of the night, so you need to take this with a pinch of salt.- HEART RATE MONITOR - you just have to trust it as there's no real way to verify if it's accurate or not without comparison to medical grade monitoring. But saying that, I do have occasional heart palpitations which the Band 3 Pro is NOT picking up at all.- INTEGRATION WITH MOBILE PHONE - it's just ok. It's very slow e.g. when you want to view your sleep pattern - the data download takes few minutes, same with firmware update. The Huawei health app shows 2 different step counts - one from phone itself on the main screen, and then you have to enter little Band 3 Pro icon to get Band 3 pro specific data, which is of course different from phone's data.- INTEGRATION WITH OTHER SYSTEMS - the worst part is that the band 3 Pro does not integrate to anything else like Google Fit or other apps. It says it does and has options for this, but it simply DOES NOT WORK - no data is synchronised. For this reason I will be replacing the Band 3 Pro with Garmin as I need my fitness data exported to another platform (Vitality) for the purpose of life insurance discount and perks. So in summary, for basic fitness monitoring it's cheap and good small band, but for more serious fitness monitoring and accuracy, look elsewhere.

Well it's a hell of alot better than the last one ( different make) that I got for £25 which did not track day time sleep although now I've instigated a return it has randomly today tracked day time sleep from 7 am to 11.30 am after 2 weeks of apparently getting no sleep whatsoever. Neither unit physically connects via Bluetooth from phone but the app still says connected to watch and syncs the data to the Huawei app on phone ? It has provided useful sleep information and this will work any time of day so useful for night workers , who sleep day time. although be aware if you wake up frequently and get less than 3 hours it will just record it as a nap with no info. The watch is smart decent strap seems very secure (maybe the band 3 is improved from the band 2 )lasts several days without charging this is using it primarily to count steps and record sleep . Not much info provided to set it up but it's basic functions are pretty straight forward. If you start an activity outside of basic steps eg indoor bike it took a while to figure how to stop the activity ( you can preset a time however) press the screen down a few seconds until pause appears press the screen again on pause and gives you the option to end or continue activity. A charging device attaches to the inner side of the main watch screen and charges fairly quickly you attach the usb end to any charger . The step counter seems fairly accurate there is a handy "find my phone" even when your phone is in silent mode and the heart beat tracker seems accurate . I don't want messages and stuff on the unit and I think the camera option only relevant to Huawei phones. So far despite Bluetooth not showing as a device on my phone the app says it is connected with a Bluetooth symbol and syncs data to app without issues for what I wanted it for it seems good ( after the last name nonsense I got ) Amazon should not be putting reviews for the band 2 with the band pro 3 as they are 2 different products ? You have option to twist wrist towards you to wake the screen up this is a bit hit and miss usually poke the screen instead .

This is for the Huawei band3 pro:As a fitness device it is very good. It is definitely not a smart watch. By that I mean most of the data (and there's quite a lot) is accessed via the accompanying app and very little via the band itself. The band is probably best just worn and ignored (this will give max battery life). All the data in the app seems spot on for accuracy. The heart rate is definitely accurate as I've measured it.The sleep data also seems very accurate - spots daytime naps ? as well as sleep quality - I compared 2 nights where I felt I had a decent restful sleep. Despite one night being 8 hours of sleep and the other only 4, the scores were both within 0.5 points of each other (7.8 and 7.3 respectively)and that's exactly how they felt subjectively. The instruction manual (or complete lack of) stumped me for a day or so but it's actually within the Huawei health app. Tap on "me" at the bottom right of the app (android). It shows the an icon for the band under connected devices, tap on this icon and then on help in the menu 5hat appears. All the instructions for the band are there. The activity tracking shows heart rate zones, how long to rest for before next workout for most benefit (recovery time) and the "training effect" (how beneficial; or detrimental if overdoing it, the workout was) as well as the basic info like time, distance, bspeed, calories burned etc.It provides continuous heart rate tracking 24/7 but real time HR tracking is only shown during a workout. The instruction manual implies it shows heart rate zones during a workout as well but I can't seem to get this to show "live". This data is recorded and available after a workout in the details pane but doesn't appear to be available "live". I also haven't got a VO2 max reading yet but I mainly cycle and some reviewers suggest it is only produced from running.Overall great little device with built in GPS, loads of data and at half the cost of a fitbit

I had a couple of smart fitness watches before this one and they all had a very disappointing feature: a very dim light on the screen. Whenever I used them outdoors, I could read see the information on the screen even in the shade. Their navigation through interminable taps was really annoying too.I decided to have a go with another watch, but didn't want to expend too much money on the top market ones. I decided to try this Huawei Band 3 Pro, whose price is about half of the expensive ones.I must say that I am really impressed with this watch. The AMOLED technology on the screen is really serious technology. It makes a massive difference. It has got amazing brightness,I can now easily see the information on the screen even in the sun. I've got fully satisfied with it. On top of that, it has touch screen! Another massive difference. There is no need for huge amounts of tapping to navigate. We just swipe a finger up and down to navigate and occasionally tap to select a function. There is more, the watch is seriously waterproof and has its own GPS! We can go out running without carrying a mobile phone to register your run path in the map. When you get back from running, all information is synchronised with the phone. By the way, the App is really god, with several functionalities for monitoring different outdoor and workout activities (including swimming), heart rates, weight and sleep pattern. The design is elegant and excellent finish. The silicone bracelet is very comfortable, we can wear it all day without feeling uncomfortable. Hats off for this watch. Huawei really did a great work on this one. They've go it right! Excellent value for money. It exceeded by far my expectations. I would give more than 5 starts for it if I could.

The band 3 Pro is a great device, tracking everything that a unit twice it's price does, it has a couple of flaws , one major flaw which is, this band powers itself off when it gets too hot, so this negates a run on a hot day as it powers off and you can't restart it manually without the charging cradle which obviously you aren't carrying, this has happened on several occasions and the manufacturer needs to put a hard start button on it for times such as this! Other small issue is the stopping of the swim function, if you have finished your work out, it's almost impossible to stop the session on the device, all other dry land activities have no issue with this however. the band is comfortable ,has a reasonable battery life of 3 days with everything turned on, notifications, heart rate , trusleep etc. And there is a function for most sports undertaken, such as indoor swim, with pool length manual setting, outdoor swim, indoor run, outdoor run, free training, indoor biking , outdoor biking and a step counter. Great colour screen with automatic night dimming, and vibrate alarm function, also stopwatch and 3 optional faces, recharge times from flat around 90 minutes , and a micro USB connection and cradle to recharge.Heart rate function is fairly accurate but could do with a recovery rate score as this is a better indication of fitness rather than the overall improvement parameters that comes with the device.Syncing is easy with a pull down in the app to update or consolidate phone steps and band steps, a small issue is its inability to play with other apps such as MFP even though it says it does in the app.Overall I would highly recommend this product, and if you can live with its few quirks ,then it's a knock out piece of kit

I got this smart watch mainly to stop missing messages that I got on my phone, bracelet vibrates when you get one (you can select what apps have access to do that, so it doesn't vibrates every time on just everything. I love the feature of sleep tracking, they have a good monitor for that, nice graphs and very useful advises how to improve your sleep, if something is not right. Before it was hard for me to wake us at the morning, I had 3-4 different devices with alarm, phone, radio, alexa, g-shock watch, nothing helped. This smart-watch has a feature of smart-alarm, when it tracks your sleep and vibrates you in a time gap you set before your alarm, when your body is in light sleep phase. For example - I set alarm for 7 o'clock, now I can chose time gap to wake up, let say I set 20 minutes gap, watch will wake me in the time gap of 6.40-7 o'clock, our sleep phases doesn't stay same for hours, they are changing, 20 minutes in REM, 30 minutes light sleep, 10 minutes in REM and so on, so once you watch tracks that you changed to light sleep phase it will wake you up. What the difference you ask, very easy, light phase of sleep is when you are not dreaming, when your brain is a bit more "awake" and knows what is happening around, so it's not cached off-guard by the fact it's time to wake up and will open your eyes easier and will be craving less to dig into your pillow. for this price this watch holds all the features a simple user might need.

Have had it since Saturday and am pretty impressed. Battery is still @ 80% after having tracked 2* 1 hour jogging sessions, a walk and TruSleep enabled 2 nights in a row. GPS seems accurate as compared to my phone (P20 pro). During jogging discrepiancy was I think 100m. It was about 200m during the 4 k walk where I took frequent nt stops ( so have to investigate what happens during the stops). Wheather at the time was also really bad.Sleeping tracking as far as I can tell is ok ( obviously difficult to asses but number of wake periods at night was correct) .It is really great that it is waterproof as well.I am deducting one star since health app is not perfect. For example it is not very clear what data is dispalyed on the home page - phone or band and app. interface is generrally not very intuitive and not rwally customisable. It is also annoying that it is not possible to turn off steps count on the app nor on the band. Step counter is simialr to other devices which means not perfect but ok. When you walk it will provide the correct number but I think some hand movements generate unnecessary counts ( I still have to investigate this). But at the moment am rally happy with the product- battery very good, gps very good, wide range of activities, sleep tracking good, water resistant. App- not so good, steps counter- fair plus would be good to be able to turn it off completely, value for money- absolutely fantastic.

As it states in the title do think this is best 'value' tracker you can get. To get these features (continuous heartrate, GPS, accurate sleep tracking, good array of activities including complex swimming feature, waterproof in metal housing but with best in class battery life) would have to spend double for the equivalent fitbit (currently band 3 £50-60 here. Had the band 2 which was ace but definitely upgraded, updated with more features, better build a 'now' better accuracy. Initially, like many reviewers here was getting inaccurate readings eg heart rate readings especially higher up (stating 130bpm when should be 170-'could' be dangerous if needing to monitor) however YOU MUST UPDATE TO NEWEST FIRMWARE,and when this was done was reading no more than 1% off what state of the art gym equipment readily. Sleep tracker seems pretty good but still can't see how breathing quality can be read and batteries amazing getting well over 7 days with continuous heartrate and everything on (except GPS) better than the competitors. I would say although huawei health app works fairly easily it lacks features of other high end apps, maybe others can tie in. I've upgraded to an aftermarket stainless steel strap and looks ace, like a propper watch

Great fitness tracker for the money, heart rate sensor and tru sleep work great.Only thing i would say is if you are wanting the battery to last ensure the tracker GPS is turned off with it off and constant heart monitoring on i get between 4 to 5 days until i need to charge again, with GPS on i get roughly 4 to 10 hours battery.Pros:Cheaper than fitbit and other fitness trackers that include heart rate sensors.Lightweight after a couple of days you forget its on wrist.Seems accurate to a degree, as all trackers have a slight step count out range i.e counts a couple more steps than done but very very rare.Cons: sometimes getting the lift wrist to light up is a pain as it can take some flickingof wrist instead but 90% of time lifting wrist works.Getting huawei health app to connect to google fit is very long winded but once connected works great if your just using huawei health without google fit absolutely no issues. Also nighttime brightness could be alot lower even set to lowest it is still very bright in a dark room and for light sleepers this could wake them up as when u move wrist it lights upAll in all an excellent piece of kit would recommended for people just starting out in the smart wearable range.

Having used this for several months now I am very pleased with it to track my walks, swims, running and cycling. As I'm more of a fell walker, I do miss the elevation facility offered by other apps. I've noticed that if I run a phone app for this purpose at the same time I can lose some data (like distance). I make the choice of band/app according to the type of walk I'm doing. The heart rate monitor is useful - reminds you of optimum rate and beeps if it thinks you're overdoing it. Also gives recommendation on recovery time before next exercise.I was sceptical about its capacity to track swims, but it accurately measured the length of the pool and the distance swum.Cycling - I have more experimentation to do on this. I found the sleep analysis scary as it indicates the duration of sleep 'types' e.g. REM, deep, etc, and its quality with recommendations on improving it. It even monitors naps accurately. As we're in lockdown I find the green man warning useful to remind me I've been sitting for some time and it's about time I got up. I'm happy with the purchase despite lack of an elevation tracker. I'm glad it doesn't have a stress monitor, though - unnecessary for me.

Loving it, although it seriously needs two issues fixedTo be able to auto connect bluetooth to my Motorola G5 when I get back in range of the phone........I have to unlock the phone first, because it cannot pair with the band to add it as a trusted device.sometimes I have to open the app. Not a major issue for me as I don't use it for messages or calls.(UPDATE... PROBLEM FIXED, installed "bluetooth scanner" from app store, the band is now fully paired with my phone and will auto connect when back in range)All features are working brilliantly, I do love the band 3 pro, I've been waiting years for a tracker that's not too bulky and actually does what it says it does.ONE MINOR FLAWCannot adjust activity reminder...it's fixed at 1 hour,I want it set at 15 or 30 minutesONE MAJOR FLAWThe screen activates while sleeping (caused by the screen contacting the pillow) And if it's in contact for a few seconds, it also vibrates and selects the shortcut for switching screens. The band keeps waking me up !!Need an option to disable the screen at certain times.I won't be able to continue using the sleep tracker until something is done about the screen.

I was a tad sceptical about these smart watches, seeing a number of folk spending over £100 on then and they had a battery life of a day. Well not this one.I have had it a month now and I am really pleased with it. They have improved the strap so that the retainer works correctly (Apparently the Band 2 Pro was bad). Its reasonably comfortable however the heart rate monitor on its back does stick into you a little when you sleep. The battery is really good with about a week of general use before I want to charge it.The GPS works well and has logged all my runs and cycles into the app accurately. The App that supports it is excellent. All my training records are there, sleep records, and walking records.I find the message notifications a bit hit and miss to the phone, so I wont rate that as dependable.I like the way you get the daily weather on it and it even tells you the time and date! The touch display can be rather fiddly to operate particularly when starting/stopping a Run log, these things really need a physical button as I wouldnt like to be trying to start it when at the start line of a race.I wear it most days now and I would recommend.
