Bought to replace broken previous unit (Not Hotpoint). Very quiet and efficient. I did not take the time to look at the 'take old unit away', so now have to get the council to do it. They used to charge £15, but now I see they charge £25, which adds to the coat of replacement. Delivered by Mastercare, so it would be worthwhile looking into the disposal option. Previous reviews have said the freezer door is hard to open due to the suction of the air inside cooling. This is correct but needs to get used to. I have a small chest freezer as well. so use the Hotpoint for longer term freezing of food. Would be better if they put a small hole at the top to equalize pressure. I run the temp at 3.5,

I bought this in late 2015, I've had enough time to see how it works now.Its quite a loud appliance and makes funny noises but have noticed this with other fridge freezers also. No big deal unless you live in a studio or bedsit! We had to replace a previous similar Hotpoint model as the freezer leaks water and freezes up in the bottom and stops the door closing if the ice isn't scraped out regular. I suspect this was due to being moved around when we had our kitchen done, we now have it in the garage. I stuck with Hotpoint though as I like the interior. No problems with this one at all and it looks very nice in our kitchen\diner.It looks very sleek and modern.

I bought this two weeks ago to replace my old fridge freezer. Decided to go back to this brand, always been reliable. It's spot on, nice and sleek in the kitchen. Big enough for us, a family of three. Delivery was excellent, came in a couple of days with regular updates and texts from the delivery company. I've read the previous reviews about the noise.., yes it makes some noises but it's hardly noticeable and it's just the normal fridge noises, especially when doors have been opened and shopping been put in it, as though it is just adjusting its temperature. Really nothing worth commenting on! Freezer has four well sized drawers and I love the built in freezer trays! Great price aswell,

I bought this nearly a year ago now. Thought I would wait to review to see how it held up.The fridge is lovely, the glossy black finish just adds to the look.It keeps mega cold inside.The only downside I would say is the noise; sometimes it's kind of noisy and makes funny sounds, kind of like a tiny aeroplane taking off in your kitchen (not as loud as that comparison makes it sound though) and sometimes it's really quiet.I'm not sure if it depends which setting you have it on as to how noisy it is, but there is probably a correlation between the two.Has ice cube trays 'built in' which are handy.Nice and spacious inside.Overall, a great buy.

I bought this to replace our old fridge freezer, i was quite surprised at how much space there is, perfectly adequate for a couple or small family, the black finish on the doors is a very high gloss which doesnt really come across from the picture which i was delighted with, the delivery was very quick not at all what i was initially given, from date of purchase i was told 1 month which was fine as it is a large appliance but it actually arrived in 4 days and the delivery team were great they put it in my kitchen and were very efficient and polite a credit to hotpoint, over all a great purchase and i am very happy.

Bought this to replace an older hotpoint fridge and was tied for space - unlike some of the bulkier fridge freezers this model is really sleek while still providing adequate fridge and freezer space. Love the ice trays on the freezer drawer doors a great feature. My only gripe would be is that is can be a little noisy at times but overall really pleased with the product. I must mention the delivery - my old freezer was taken away new freezer unpacked and in position all within 10 minutes - excellent service - from the initial phone call to arrange delivery to the delivery itself - very impressive

It's a fridge freezer, does all the basics, fairly quite and you wouldn't really notice it on. 2 ice cubes trays that form part of the draws for space saving, easy access and to stop the ice tainting in taste from food odours. Large capacity for an average height fridge freezer.A great buy and would recommend to friends and family.Also the delivery was top notch, Driver brought it, unwrapped and plugged in and explained to waiting an hour before turning on to allow gases to settle from delivery...Great service 10/10

I have had this fridge freezer for about a month , I think it is value for money, its a bit of a tardis. I am able to put much more in even though the dimensions are the same as my old one. It is also very quiet. The delivery was great Hotpoint kept in touch with me and on the morning of the delivery I was given a window of 1 hour, so I could carry on with what I was doing. The delivery men were very polite and helpful. All in all it was a good experience. I would definitely buy from vary again

it said the doors are reversible.my son had to drill the holes so the hinges for the doors could be attached to opposite side.it also said put the white caps on the holes where the hinge was taken out.NO caps came with itso my son put 2 small screws in the Original hinge holes so it doesnt look unsightlyapart from that it is a lovely fridge/freezer very low noise.plenty of room for a familyi would have given it 5**** if the doors were easy to reverse SO BE WARNED

Bought this just few weeks ago but love it. Had a frost free before and hated it because any little thing would upset the temperature and ice cream especially would go to soft so decided to buy a Manuel defrost and so pleased with it. Fridge space is brilliant and can actually fit a 2 litre bottle in the door which I couldn't do before and such a bonus. Bought it in black and looks brilliant against my grey walls. Haven't got bad thing to say about it.

Bought earlier this month, great little fridge from hotpoint perfect for me and my partner easy fits our monthly shop in and we like our food lol nice and spacious inside, the ice trays are a cool feature although we've not used them yet. The fridge door has a groove so you can easily fit a 2ltre bottle in the balcony. Does make a few strange noises at times but you get used to it and it's just the right size for our compact kitchen. We love it.

Was wary of buying an appliance for so cheap as I figured the chance of it being rubbish was high but boy was I wrong.It has a quiet hum to it, my sofa is not but 2 meters from it and it's not distracting in the least. Aesthetically it looks and feels fantastic and solid.The space is ample given its modest size and I think will suit a small family, though I am single so take that with a grain of salt.All in all a great purchase.

I've owned two other fridge freezers of the same make and size over the last 10 years or so. they go on for ages and are pretty reliable usually. I like the size of the freezer, though its not probably big enough for a larger family of 4+ but its ok for three adults that eat out through the working week sorta thing. Nice bright fridge light , easy to clean around, quiet , black exterior looks stlyish not a bad proce either.

Lovely fridge freezer, compact compared to my previous one but as a family of 3 it’s plenty of room for our shopping. The first one I had delivered was faulty so was a bit dissapointed as had to wait another week for it to be sorted with an engineer visit and then finally a new one, but the one I have now has worked perfectly and keeps everything nice and fresh for longer than my previous Samsung fridge.

Very neat and tidy looking. Capacity is excellent holds more than you would think. Quiet running and appears to be economical to run. Only one problem that didn't bother us, if you need to change the way the doors open it's a bit of a faff. You have to lay it down and slide the doors out to realign them but the hinges as they are on the right suits us fine. Early days yet but so far ver, very pleased.
