I bought this to replace my old Hotpoint Hob because, sadly two thermostats had gone and could not be controlled but it was not cost effective to replace; and this one fitted the hole in my worktop perfectly. I did consider buying the touch control version but thought I might find it fiddly; so opted for this one with control knobs. However; I wish I had bought the touch control version as the knobs on this one are too close to the large 'plate' at the front on the right and invariably get splashed and are not easy to clean. They should have been placed toward the back right of the hob next to the small 'plate' where there is a larger space between plate and knobs.

It looks good, it’s easy to use and heats up very quickly. However, the dials that you need to turn in order to turn the heat on have no safety mechanisms for children and the little line that you need to line up with the heat number is a black line on a black knob so it’s very difficult to see which number you have turned the heat on to. We’ve only had the hob about a week and have only used it to boil/fry food but we seem to have scolded the surface area.

I had this fitted today so used it for cooking dinner tonight. I was most impressed, the hob heated well with a good distribution of heat. Different sizes for all size pans. This was also easy to clean. All good so far.

This is a no fuss, minimalist hob, in both design and features. It simply works, thats it. Not everything is made better by adding extra features to a device, and this one is all the better for being very simple.

Looks very smart but as others have reviewed, the position on the control knob could be clearer, maybe a different colour to make the line stand out against the heat setting selected.

Purchased this hob , easy to use and clean , out of the 2 large hob circles, the larger one could do with being at the front for me , but overall happy with purchase
