Really soft, thick leather, mine doesn't have the checkered pattern that you can see on the collar which I'm glad about. Plenty of pockets, both internal and external with two in the lining on the inside and a further two in the attachable padding. No connecting zip, what the heck, is that normal in such a premium jacket so be prepeared to sew if you want to use it as seriously as it deserves to be used. Fasion images on the inner lining, a name tag ready to be written on just inside the inner padding. Soft shoulder and back armour and normal, hardish elbow armour. I would say a bit on the small side under the arms for 2xl which normally fits me with space.
