I'm pretty cross about this purchase if I'm completely honest, the game is great and my son likes it but I was really annoyed to find out on Xmas day that this isn't a complete game! You pay the £25 for this to then find they require an account. An account that costs an additional £18.95!! Making the total nearing on £50! Now I don't mind paying £50 for a game but I like to know that is what I am paying. I do not appreciate purchasing my son something to find out after he's opened it that I need to pay out more money! What if I didn't have the extra money to pay? How heartbroken who he have been Xmas morning.

Highly recommended. My 10 year old daughter has thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with the different features in the app and building, uploading and playing the games she has made. She has taken great enjoyment in checking how many others have played her game too! She used the game board to begin with, designing her first room layout and character, but as this feature is also within the app she quickly found that she preferred using this rather than using the physical game board and blocks - so although this is a great idea, in practice I have found the physical element of the game board and blocks to be redundant.

My daughter received this for her 11th birthday. She is a big fan of mine craft but she's barely been back on mine craft since getting bloxels, bloxels on the other hand has barely been left alone. It works fine on her kindle fire and she is really enjoying creating her own content and uploading it to the infinity wall. This isn't a stand alone game in a box, its an aide for the free app. Would highly recommend but if you're unsure I'd recommend downloading the bloxels app first and having a play then I'm sure you'll soon want this board yup customise your game and add your own content.

The box itself may not say much. Just a black board with holes for different color cubes.The concept behind it is fascinating. You can create your own game, room by room, adding different colors which represent land, hazardous areas, enemies, power-ups. The app allows you to customize many aspects of the game. The board is basically the way in which you represent your game design.It's a great component for a computational thinking workshop with children and teenagers. You can start planning your entire game on paper using grid paper and then continue with the board to scan it.

This is great for a fan of Harry Potter!Comes with a good quality tin and 2 packs of cards, however they're not in the usual top trumps plastic cases so once you've opened the plastic wrap the cards are just loose inside the tin.The cards themselves are excellent quality with a great range of characters and both decks can be used together for playing longer games or with a larger group of people.Easy to understand for all ages and a couple of different ways to play for either longer or shorter games.Excellent overall, very pleased with it and good value!

I was a bit hesitant about getting this as it had some mixed reviews, but it is actually really good. It's a real pain to get set up, so lost a star for that, but once you've got your account sorted it works very well. You don't have to pay extra, you just enter the codes on the back of the box and upload a receipt (or screenshot the amazon order details). The instructions are a bit limited, but then you can always look things up online if you're not sure and there's plenty of scope for creativity. My gaming-obsessed 10 year old is very happy with this!

Bloxels has brought hours of smiles to my 9 year olds face. A little tricky to get started but never has learning been so much fun and productive at the same time. A neat little toy and app that teaches kids the basics of design and game mechanics without them realising it's educational. The best learning toys are definitely the ones where the kids think they're just playing and this falls into this category.Very recommended and will probably buy some time in the future for nieces or nephews!

Just a nice little collectable, this is the third one of these that my young daughter now owns the only one left to complete her collection is the Hufflepuff one, she is a mad keep Harry Potter collector and also loves Top Trumps so this is ideal for her, this collection is presented in a well made metal box that is made to look like a suitcase, there are 2 packs of Top Trumps inside each tin , if you or your child like Top Trumps and Harry Potter then you will love these collectable sets

Great game! Has been keeping my 9yo, Mario Maker entertained, ONCE I’d work out how to get the free access to the app! After searching reviews I kept seeing that it wasn’t free or not fully accessible from the UK, but it is. You have to register as a home user on the website, then click the Proof of Purchase button, enter the big numbers of the barcode, then the smaller model number code from just above the barcode. It is free and it does work! Hope this makes someones day a bit easier :)

This is really well made and very pleasing (to someone who likes order - all the coloured cubes have their own section in the box ?). My son had used the board and app at school so we decided to buy it. It’s great but the instructions appear to be written for a different version of the app so we’ve struggled a bit working out what to do. Now though my 8 year old has it sussed and is loving it. Great idea.

I purchased this for my 6 year old son. He absolutely loved Bloxels.We've spent hours building and designing characters and levels. It's so simple to use and the app is very well designed.There are hundreds of assets and games that other Bloxel users have uploaded to so endless possibilities.Cannot praise this item highly enough.A must for all budding game designers!

This makes such a great gift for big and little Potter fans alike. My seven year old actually „reads“ these cards voluntarily and we have had numerous (I am very competitive!) games of Top Trumps.I had actually forgotten how much I enjoyed playing Top Trumps when I was that age myself.The little case is adorable. I will be buying more for gifts for her friends.

Played with my 7 yr old nephew and apart from a few issues capturing the boards (hence loss of a star) we had hours of fun creating our own characters and games. It's a really good way to physically build a computer game and really understand what's going on in terms of graphics. There are so many ways to customise your designs you will never get bored!

There are two different sets of top trumps which is great. The games are like all the other top trumps we have, easy to play and take out and about to prevent boredom.My only criticism is that once you open the packets, the cards dont come in there own smaller case. We have had to put an elastic band around them which is fine, but a bit naff!!

Great Harry Potter gift for kids that will keep them entertained with interesting facts about the series. Easy to carry case which keeps all the cards in one place. I bought 2 on a fantastic offer that isn't available anywhere else. With limited Harry Potter merchandise in the shops this is a great purchase from Argos.
