All my three year old daughter wanted for Christmas was a dolls house. Cue searching high and low for that perfect house for Christmas day. This ticked all my boxes and more, it was wooden, it was large with a lot of play value, it came with furniture and was unisex so her big brother would be able to play alongside - The fact it was open plan for easy access and had reversible roofing was a bonus. It took my husband and I only twenty minutes or so on Christmas eve to build which was brilliant but some of the floors were difficult to line up with the joints, and one of the screws to hold the roof on was missing. Once built it is slightly wobbly and does not seem to sit flush on the floor.I felt the framework to the house was meant to be put together in a certain way as the sticky parts had their grooves in different places meaning it could have been put together a lot better if you were lucky to match them correctly. It does not look very sturdy and my husband is concerned about me using it for work (I am a childminder) in case it gets broken which is a shame. It is very light though so easily moved from one room to another and although it is tall it doesn't take up that much room.So far I suppose this doesn't sound like a four star review! But it really is a beautiful toy, the roof can easily be turned over to have it snowy or grassy - I love the "solar panel" design! The door opens inwards and moves really nicely, a bizarre notion perhaps but it just feels nice to open and shut. Three of the floors have a plain wood design but the base floor is brickwork (For a cellar or perhaps a garage) and the kitchen/bathroom areas have different tiled designs. There are two moveable staircases, one seems to have a slide at the side which my children love. There are two lampshades hanging down from the centre which the kids enjoy pulling to different lengths. The furniture included is simply stunning. There is a bathroom set - Sink, shower, bath, toilet, a fish rug, little towel and a tiny toy duck. A kitchen set - Cooker, fridge, sink unit, little towel, food mixer, saucepan and lidded container. Living room - Rug, TV, fireplace, sofa, armchair, coffee table, tiny cushions, lamp and houseplant. Master bedroom - Bed with bedding, rug, lamp, wardrobe and dresser with stool. All the little doors open, the plant has bendy leaves and one of the lamps is also bendy. A lot of thought went into the design of this product and it really is wonderful. The other reviews say it is nice and sturdy so although it does not seem it right now I shall think positively.And, on Christmas morning, both my daughter and my five year old son were filled with delight by it

Wow!First of all Hape is not selling this product correctly in their description. Too much awesomeness has been missed out! This DOLLS house is BEAUTIFUL and creatively made. I'm going to go in to details for those that would appreciate it like I would have!The dolls house comes with 36 pieces- I have included a photo for ease of all the items you actually get with the house.Cute ref: bathroom has duck for the bath or shower a towel and a real mirror!!! Bedroom has real mirror on dressing table. Wardrobe has hanging rail and shelfs. One staircase has half stairs and half slide!!! How cool? There is a very large section under the kitchen area of the house to store a car!The kitchen has mini accessories like a juicer oots and pans!Extra boys like lamps and a Tv,fireplace,cushions and rugs make this dolls house feel real and homey. I would definitely recommend this for a girl or a boy. It's the perfect size for a few kids to play as its very open and quite big! Everything was included, easy to build in less than an hour and very sturdy! This will last years to come! Thank you for beautiful dolls house with excellent delivery! Well worth every penny!A note. We brought the African American family which has no baby so I brought the living room and kids bedroom set and that's all that's needed! You get everything else included! Were going to eventually get the car and outside playset and I think that would be the only additions needed. Love love love!

I got this dollhouse for one of my children for Christmas 2020 and it's pretty comparable to others on the market. It's pretty sturdy and came mostly assembled, just needed the posts put together with an included allen wrench. We used an allen wrench bit on an electric drill which made assembly only take about 15 minutes total. The floors all slid in easily.You can't tell from the photos, but we just realized the roof panels are actually reversible; one side for spring and one side for winter with snow paintings. The door is functional and the balcony can be moved to any floor. The size is great for toddlers and preschoolers, and the dolls (not included) are about 5 inches tall,so this is too small for Barbies but great for plenty of other toys.The biggest selling point for me was that it's open on three sides so multiple kids can play at once without getting in each other's way. It also comes with a lot of furniture, though not the pets that some kids are playing with in one of the product photos. We bought 2 families to go in it and plan to buy some of the extra sets you can get as future presents, like the pets, the nursery room, and the outdoor play area.It's packed well and nothing arrived damaged. It's held up being dragged around the house and moved from one house to another already with no dents or scratches so far, so I'm optimistic that it'll continue to hold up well. The roof panels are especially strong.

First of all, my daughter loves this dollhouse. She is 3yrs old and every day she will bring a new "friend" into this dollhouse and have a wonderfully creative time making me glad that I bought it. Some furniture/toy parts are very small, so if your child is still at the stage where they put everything in their mouth, you can still get the dollhouse but better to keep these smaller parts stowed away for their safety.PLEASE KNOW THAT DOLLS DO NOT COME WITH IT (but furniture pieces slightly different from the ones in pictures are included). Your child will most likely just bring different dolls from different toys if you don't buy one btw. My child likes to bring in her DUPLO figures.I am still looking for good options for dolls that are a bit more culturally diverse than the ones HAPE offers.Also to those people out there who buy gifts, feel like they have done all the work, and wait for the night before to wrap any presents at all - please remember that this dollhouse must be assembled. And if you are not a handy person and are trying to get this thing built the night before birthday/Christmas/easter/etc. AND wrap it somehow - give yourself PLENTY of time. It took me over an hour since I am not used to these kinds of things at all.Overall good gift to buy. Its pretty sturdy and colorful. My kid loves it.

The house and furniture look lovely. My kids are delighted. Well made and sturdy for the most part. We will probably buy the dining set, the kids bedroom and the nursery as well because these aren't included.One of the long pieces of wood that extend from the back to the front of the house (I think there are 12 in total) was faulty. The hole where a screw goes in was too large and the screw didn't bite. This wasn't really an issue, as a whole the house still felt solid so I just ignored it. I was assembling it late on Christmas Eve so returning it wasn't really an option.Overall happy with it. Quite a bit cheaper than some alternatives and the lack of a hinged front at first looks unfinishedbut I think it's actually a bonus because the ones I saw in shops looked flimsy and the doors would not last long in my opinion.

Another great product by Hape. I assembled this very easily in an hour or so. It is beautifully painted in lovely fresh colours and has a reversible roof with snow on one side and summer greenery on the other. You can move the stairs and reach in from all angles. The attention to detail in the house and the furniture that comes with it is brilliant. For example there are wardrobes with doors that open, to reveal shelves, bright rugs for the rooms, towels. I wanted a house for my daughter but none of the ones in high street shops appeal as they are always pink and very girly. This was absolutely perfect, original and competitively priced.

Great doll house for the price. My daughter absolutely loved it for her Christmas present. I wrapped it assembled and it was a huge hit. She's able to fit all her smaller dolls, Polly Pockets, and even the smaller Barbies. Comes a with a ton of furniture and it's relatively easy to play with. The only thing that didn't really make sense was why they only included one pair of stairs when the set could stand to have at least one more flight. Anyway, still a good set for the price and super easy to assemble.

I wanted a dolls house for my 2 yr old daughters birthday and got in a real pickle looking at all the negative reviews on Amazon. Finally settled for this one and we all LOVE it. Beautifully designed and crafted, easy to put together, sturdy and will provide years of fun. Comes with some furniture, but I like the fact we can customise it ourselves with additional sets. Good extra presents from grandparents! We have the Hape family and the car, and they all work perfectly together. Highly recommend!

Granddaughter over the moon with her Hape dolls house. We loved the furniture included. Would have been nice if a the Hape family was included too but we bought them separately. We bought 3 or 4 mores sets of furniture indoor and outdoor to complete the look. The house and furniture are beautifully made and very realistic. The design is amazing that it can be played with from all sides which is very good for shared playing. Fantastic buy, will last for years.

Bought this doll house for my granddaughter. It’s really sturdy and my husband commented how well it was made when he put it together, which he did on his own in a fairly short time (he is very handy though!). I’m really pleased with the quality, including that of the furniture - it’s made to last and not at all flimsy - can’t wait to give it to her at Christmas. The price is fluctuating - paid £85 which I think is good value and would definitely recommend

Brought this doll house for my son (2) and daughter (5) as a joint Christmas present this year and, miracles do happen, they've actually played with it together really nicely so far! It's brilliant quality as you'd expect for the price, is pretty simple to put together and comes with plenty of furniture to get you started. No people though, so I bought the Hape modern family to go with it. Hoping they'll get a lot of use out of this over the years.

This a great looking modern toy house that’s had positive comments from friends seeing it in action in our living room. I recommend the modern family of dolls to go with it, they're much more up to date in style with what kids play with.My 3 yr old daughter also uses Playmobil and My Little Pony’s in the house so it’s great watching her creativity grow with other toys too. This house is the focal point of her roll play games at the moment.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter's 5th birthday, and she is sharing it with her 2 year younger brother who also plays with it, although less frequently. It is a good size, easy to move and carry around, and well equipped with furniture. It's so great to be able to buy something wooden! I find the furniture pieces are well made and it's overall a good price. It arrived very quickly, within 5 days or so.

I bought the house from Amazon Warehouse which was a half than the regular price and I didn't have any problem with my order. Arrived on time, mint condition, easy to assemble. What I like about this house is that the colours are unisex and it is enough space for more like one child to play with it. Highly recommended if you are looking for nice spacious wooden house.

My 1 1/2-year-old grranddaughter enjoys playing with this dollhouse and learns something new every day about it. I like that it's not overly feminine so that my 2 and 3-year-old grandsons will love it too. I ordered the dolls and pets separately, and also the children's room set. It is solid and no worries about little hands tearing anything up.
