This is the RAM to get for Ryzen. It is a bit pricey however compared to other Memory kits that also have Samsung B-die for cl14 timings but what is great is that this works out of the box at 3200mhz cl14 primary timings, at 1.35v voltage xmp profile. Works without any issues and im using a ryzen 5 1600 with a b350m mortar. Ryzen loves high speed and low latency memory, and this is a good combination of both.It also has some alright overclocking potential as you could overclock this to 3333mhz, 3400mhz or higher depending on silicon lottery, motherboard, ram, cpu imc, etc. That being said 3200mhz cl14 is definitely enough for gaming and other tasks, especially stable.I did however tune the sub timings to lower than xmp with Ryzen DRAM calculator to make the most of this kit, while still using 1.35v and 3200mhz ram speed on cl14. While not super necessary , it is definitely nice to see some small gains that can be gained from simply lowering latency. Also at times, this is better and easier than changing the clock speed of the RAM. I have attempted to go higher speed memory but this may defeat the purpose of buying the kit for the low latencies if you have to loosen timings, but if you can afford the time to try your luck, then you could go for it. Memtest86 i used to stress test memory but there are probably better methods.Temps , stay cool. 33c. Average airflow in an okay case. Corsair 100r with some custom 120mm exhaust fans and 140mm intake fans. Any case , temps wont be a concern unless you do above 1.4+ volts perhaps. Stay within 30-40c range I would. What is more is that this ram is "ryzen optimised" so in some cases you may have better chances on lower timings with the higher speed than other RAM on ryzen and AM4 platform, on b350 and x370 chipsets for example. 3200mhz cl14 may also save having to tweak for that on different kits. It will work on intel though. Is it worth it? Well for a ryzen 7 2700X build, definitely or any ryzen 7 build. Even some ryzen 5 builds if you don't mind the extra cost. However its only worth if you have a higher end ryzen cpu that you want to push and it is guaranteed samsung B-die which helps overclocking , lower timings, and getting good speeds. It just works.I'm also excited to see how this RAM will handle on a Zen 2 system, aka ryzen 3000 series. It will seem like a beast. At least i have the option to use this ram if i decide to upgrade to a zen 2 processor or perhaps a new motherboard with it if i felt like it.

This kit may cost a bit more, but if you have a Ryzen, it is worth the extra. On my motherboard (Asus Strix X370-F with 2700X), it just worked at 3200Mhz as soon as I enabled the XMP profile in the BIOS. The timings are also very tight. I have since tinkered with it and so far I can run at 3400Mhz with the CL14 latencies, and even 3600Mhz with slightly looser timings (14, 16, 16,16). This RAM has made overclocking effortless.UPDATE 02/06/19 - I have been wanting a second set of this RAM to go to 32Gb, but was unwilling to pay well over £200 for it. I was pleasantly surprised to get it for £137. I can run straight out of the box at 3200Mhz with four 8Gb sticks, at CL14. With a slight voltage bump to 1.375V,I can even run all 4 sticks at 3400Mhz, perfectly stable (which quite surprised me actually), so I'm really happy. These sticks use top-binned Samsung B-Die memory chips, through experimentation I have found these to be superior even to G Skill Trident Z 3600Mhz CL16 sticks. At £137 these are a good buy, not just for Ryzen.

Very cool looking and considering its tight timings and higher operating voltage @ 1.35V it's very cool indeed @ 33C under load.Out of the box it runs as 2400, but to get the full 3200 speed out of this RAM on a ryzen motherboard (I use the the ASRock taichi X380) you must enable the xmp profile but once done it will be fully speed 3200X no problem. In the pic you can see how tall the modules are. NOTE: they are NOT low profile. See my pic to understand the height limits I had to work with.Overall I'm very happy with my choice and once the BIOS updates settle down I'm sure it will be fantastic at overclocking too ?UPDATE: As the amazon reviewing and/or rating-star system can confuse people (itcan group products of the same manufacturer but may have slightly different specs together under the same star rating) I have uploaded a pic of the barcode on the pack so you are sure what sample I am talking about.

Ok, the ram is a little overpriced but I wont rate it down because of that and if you have a ryzen build then this is the ram to get! I was previously using corsair vengeance lpx and no matter what I couldn't get it past 2800mhz, using 4 dimms of it wasn't helping but I decided to get ram rated for ryzen due to the way the cpu works, infinity fabric which is tied to memory speeds, so I opted for this to have ram running at 3200 mhz.Update : So I brought a second hand pair of this ram from ebay as I wanted to up my ram to 32gb but couldn't afford buying new and the two pairs of sticks work flawlessly at 3200mhz. I know the usual advice is to buy matched pairs of ram (as in buy the 32gb kit instead of two pairs of 16gb)but I've taken this route of buying two pairs of 16gb ram with all my pc builds (ram purchased at different times) and never had a problem running 4 sticks at their rated speed.

This is the best possible DDR4 RAM you can get for Ryzen right now, runs out of the box at 2400Mhz, alls you need to do is activate the XMP profile in the BIOS (under D.O.C.P for AMD Ryzen motherboards) and it sets the speed to the advertised 3200Mhz 14-14-14-34 @1.35v.If you have the spare cash, definitely get this kit, you will get the maximum out of your Ryzen setup. It can also have an effect in games. Ryzen CPU's are sensitive to faster RAM speeds (IE higher the speed of RAM the better Ryzen performs) because of Infinity Fabric, which runs at the same speed as your system RAM.Example, Witcher 3 I checked a single scene, 105FPS with 2400Mhz RAM, 128-130FPS with 3200Mhz RAM,I checked this multiple times, with the same/similar result. This was using the 1080Ti GPU.Suffice to say, I am really pleased with this kit of RAM.For reference, my motherboard is Asus Crosshair VI Hero X370.

I decided to pay a bit more for this ram as I wanted to get 3200mhz for use with my Ryzen cpu. As soon as I built the pc I went into the bios and changed the ram speed to 3200mhz and it posted and passed 30 mins of stress testing on stock 1.2v. I decided to nudge the dram voltage up to 1.35v just to make sure it will be stable. I'll probably have another play and see if I can get a little more speed, or tighten the timings, but I am happy it hit the magic 3200mhz with no fuss. The ram also looks great imo and fits in well with my Asus mobo. I'm not a fan of too much rgb, so for me this ram is a better choice than the Trident Z.

Installed in a Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 7 WiFi motherboard with a Ryzen 7 2700X Processor and 16GB G.Skill 3200MHz DDR4 ram.My 2700X out of the box is running between 4050-4300GHz as standard. (Will NOT be overclocking)The G.Skill memory was running at 2600 with the bios settings on auto (Default).I changed the bios and specified 3200MHz memory and has worked flawlessly.I would like another 16GB but they are so expensive I am going to wait a while.I think that the other reviewer is right that they are a bit overpriced. They do work flawlessly and at there specified speed.I will be buying more.Highly recommended.

Running this on an MSI Mortar Artic B350, and out of the box i set the timings and speed to 3200 with 14 14 14 36 and its run like a champ 1.35v, i haven't tried to clock it yet but it does what it says on the box!,Temp wise it runs at around 33c to 35c but i do have i fan blowing across the modules.Ryzen 1700 chip @3.8, 3.9 works but needed more voltage so stuck with 3.8

I recommend with AMD Ryzen processors, an obvious statement I know. The only pitfall is its appearance, it's not quite dominator platinum. Be aware that it runs at 2400 MHz unless you overclock, so make sure you have the correct motherboard to allow this.

6.3.2019

Got it, overclocked to 3200MHz in bios otherwise it works on 2400. Works great with no problems at 1.35 v. Only drawback is the dam price :) I`ll maybe get another pair when price drops... 191£ is a kinda high, but so far the performance is mind blowing.

Performs great, was compatible out of the box for my Ryzen 2nd gen system after having issues with hynix RAM (bad RAM compatibility on my MSI X470 gaming pro).Very overpriced, although this is to be expected with the present state of the RAM market.

23.10.2018

Worked like a charm and boosted up to 3200mhz and the correct timings when the XMP profile was selected in the bios. The shipping package was flimsy as hell tho and considering both the price and how fragile ram sticks can be, I expected much better.

12.9.2017

Installed on an MSI X370 Gaming Plus Motherboard.Updated the Bios on the Motherboard on first boot and the memory is running at 3200Mhz straight away.No issues at all and very happy. Will get another 16GB when the price drops a bit.......

14.11.2018

One star off for the price, but can't fault the product. It runs at 3200 with advertised timings, with a simple setting of A-XMP profile in BIOS. Frankly, I wanted RAM that would work at these speeds with a Ryzen2 CPU, and no hassle.

16.12.2018

Worked with ASUS prime X470 board and ryzen 2700X at 3200MHz perfectly unlike other memory that took a lot of effort to even run over 2400 MHz Highly recommend for stress free builds. its only downside is the High cost.
