I got the 16gb (2x8) 3000mhz kit as an upgrade, as I was previously on 8GB RAM clocked at 2133mhz when I originally built my PC. Whilst my current mobo doesn't go over 2133mhz (unless in XMP for 2400 I think, I leave it off anyway), the dual channel support is still there. Overall, even though I've only used this new kit for half a day, they are very smooth and much better than the 8gb I was on.Before, when I was playing games such as Battlefront 2 or Black Desert Online, I would suffer huge stuttering when in areas with a lot going on, due to the nature of the games, however I'm able to play them just fine now with the extra 8gb of RAM compared to before, even if I'm not fully utilizing the speeds offered by the sticks.Figured it would better to get these sticks with these speeds, for when I eventually make the jump to Ryzen and upgrade the mobo, to adjust for the higher RAM speeds used by Ryzen and the recent-ish price drops to RAM in general making the purchase more viable.Anyway, before I get derailed too much, great sticks, easy installation, prompt delivery from Amazon. I'd probably reccommend 16gb of RAM, over just 8gb, if you're planning on playing recent games (or VR games) as 8gb just isn't enough anymore.

Writing this review in August 2017 when the price of this ram is £124.99.I bought this ram for £56.99 back on 24th of March 2016.Absolute steal for £56.99, but you won't get this ram for that price in late 2017 or for a long time due to worldwide DDR4 shortages. At the time it was a great buy, but This ram has some weird issues with the Asus Z170 Pro gaming board and playing the game called Runescape, weird but me and 3 other users were stumped and found out we all had the same motherboard and ram combo that was causing the issue and changing ram was enough, so if you have a Z170 pro gaming from Asus and this ram, you might... maybe run into issues with Runescape in NXT mode.Other than that, this ram needs to be overclocked with the XMP profiles in bios to run at it's advertised 2400Mhz speed, I was confused at first when it was running at 1666Mhz

I originally had 32 GB on my computer but, needed 64 GB due to virtualisation of hardware. I got on this on sale when it was roughly £400 cheaper than other offerings. I have bought Corsair lpx vengeance for many years, and it is still as reliable as it comes. it was an inexpensive upgrade and very affordable and the stability is rock solid. when the ram was inserted my computer instantly detected the upgrade. I am an old school person who still uses air cooling as it is more reliable than liquid cooling and my cooler was huge. thanks to Corsair's low profile heatsink I was able to install it without having to remove the CPU fan. All in all this is a great upgrade and it works well with high end games that are really demanding its a good all rounder.I recommend this kit for anyone who wants an inexpensive upgrade.

When ordering this, I was a little concerned about compatibility with the current RAM I had in my PC (Corsair 1x16GB with a CAS latency of CL19). I didn't need to worry at all :). This RAM works perfectly in Dual Channel mode with my current RAM, now I have 2x16GB it has definitely increased the performance of my PC.For any gamers that are interested, here is a before and after average FPS from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War(Tested on Cartel map in Combined Arms, as this is the most graphically intense map/mode)Before: (1x16GB RAM) - Settings High/Ultra 1080p - FPS between 70-100After: (2x16GB RAM)- Settings High/Ultra 1080p - FPS between 90-100Having 2 sticks of RAM in Dual Channel has ironed out FPS highs and lows with my Nvidia GTX 1660 SUPER.

Be carefully at these corsair ram . So on amazon there are 2 different kits of 2x8 gb one prices at £79 and one priced at £84 . They are not the same even though all the specs are the same the run at different speed out of the box and both is the sets are made by a different manufacturer still corsair at the nd of the day . One is made by samsung at lower speed and one set by Nanya ( the Nanya one is ryzen ready and works perfect ) .But becuase I had 2 different sets I had multiple crashes lower performance . One of the says ryzen on the box other one says intel . Might not be a big deal but my pc went crazy with blue screen after I added another set .Not sure what's going on but it's a bit weird CPUID still shows me lower speed that first set .

I've previously used Corsair for my Ivy Bridge DDR3 setup and was very pleased with those. The performance works well and I had no issue getting XMP profies to work. The Red color is also very strong, like lipstick you'd get from that famous scene in 'Mad Men' which is nice. You would buy these if you were going to install an after-market air cooler for your CPU, because clearance issues on fans are a real thing. The only complaint I can foresee is that my old set of Vengeance memory started to die after 3 years. I get that that's what their warranty was for but I'd almost prefer them to die outright and force an upgrade than give me a blue screen every other day.

Purchased 2 x 16 GB 3000MHz sticks to be installed in a Asus Maximus Code iXTook 2 mins to Install, changed the XMP in the bios, booted up the system and now up and running with no issues or conflicts. 3000MHz joy :)I went with the 4M2B version --> 4M2B3000C15 mainly because personally i tend to go for hardware that is listed on the manufacturers QVL. I also plan on using these LPX ram on my next build in a maximum hero IX or X, so for me its all about ensuring i can use these on other motherboards without worrying about if the hardware hasn't been tested to work with a particular motherboard.I would defiantly recommend the Corsair LPX Ram.

Ram looks great in my new system, Temps are low in AIDA64 Memory stress test so the Heat sink must be working well. I bought this from amazon's warehouse deals and the item itself looks brand new the packaging wasn't in the best condition however the product itself is perfect. Highly recommend this RAM at the moment due to the ridiculously high prices of DDR4 at the moment (For a single stick of 8GB DDR4 at the moment it is £44 without a heatspredder and at a low clock speed of 2133 MHS, this ram is double the capacity has a heatspredder and a higher clock rate of 2400mhs for less than double the price so your getting much more for your money.

I did some research and found those Corsairs to be pretty high ranked in terms of reliability and quality and..mine 2x8GB 3000Mhz CL15 set just proved it.And for the capacity and the speed - they are pretty good priced among the competition. It is a pity that my not clockable Intel i5-8500 does not seem to profit for the higher 3000 XMP profile speed on my Z370 board, compared to the stock 2666Mhz - only about 2-3%, according to the synthetic CPU tests ...I suppose with Intel Coffee lake you would need anything over 2666Mhz only if you overclock the CPU seriously. With AMD is different, as far as I know.

Got the 3000MHz pair with a Gigabyte GA-AB350M Gaming 3 motherboard and a Ryzen 1600. XMP doesn't work (yet!) and I only have this running at 2400 after tweaking from the 2133 base but with time, support will be better. The forthcoming F6 BIOS will make this RAM shine, if reports are to be believed! It's a 5* product but I've given it 4* for packaging as the retail packaging is a little flimsy for my liking and doesn't snap close like other RAM cases. One stick fell out (thankfully undamaged!) because I assumed packaging was secure. I'd prefer a snap-close box or perhaps individual RAM cases.

These RAM stick are generally amazing. They arrived next day, sticking with Amazon's amazing delivery, and they were packaged superbly. The RAM sticks not only perform great but the also look extremely aesthetically pleasing. Vengeance is definitely the way to go. They are very low profile RAM sticks and all though i am water cooling, i can see it would be easy to fit a nice big air cooler! My one only thing is i bought these a few months back and the price has gone up by £20..Definitely recommend them and the nice heat sinks will make anyone's build look that little better.

When setting XMP profile for this to run at 3000Mhz, and setting the appropriate voltage, games suffer from occasional few second freezes and sometimes completely freezes the PC so have to force reboot. Setting the XMP profile to automatic sets it to 2133Mhz which stops the freezes, however RAM not running at advertised speed without error. This is running on a ASRock AB350M Socket AM4 AMD MicroATX Motherboard, still giving this 4 star as even when running at 2133Mhz the performance is still very good, and it could be the motherboard at fault here / compatibility issues.

I am using this RAM in my Ryzen system and with the XMP enabled in the bios I have been running them at 3000Mhz reliably on an Asrock B450 motherboard.16GB is ideal for gaming and I have noticed a performance gain moving from 8 to 16GB of vengeance. The RAM stays cool with their metal heat sync covers and have been running reliably for me for a couple of weeks now.Corsair is my go to brand of RAM and I have always had a great experience with using them over the competition.Highly recommended for gamers looking to spice up their rig with some high speed RAM.

I started with 2 sets of Quad-channel (4GBx4) 3000-CL15 DDR4. I moved to 8GBx2 and then to 16GB x2. All running at XMP setting and never regretted any of it (all of the same model for compatibility). I can mix different sizes per channel and no compatibility issues. The Quad-channel gives so much bandwidth that I do not need to worry about bottlenecks or using higher speed RAMs. Perhaps the next upgrade is to use higher speed ones at Quad Channel with a high 4.5ghz multi-core CPU. Right now, the performance for both games and file transfer is amazing!

I have now used these RAM sticks over 6 months in my gaming machine and have had zero issues with them. Worked just fine just out of the box when i installed them to my Asus Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard, machine is very stable and no crashes what so ever (this without any overclocking). Also Corsair is reliable memory manufacturer brand and they offer these with this (limited) lifetime warranty so with this price i absolutely recommend these to everyone. Being kind of computer geek myself i think quality/price ratio is best with these sticks.
