Does exactly what it says on the tin/box/package.I originally bought a set of 2x8GB Corsair memory for a new Ryzen 1600 desktop build, but it wouldn't even complete a POST, let alone boot on two different motherboards. I returned the Corsair memory and bought this G.SKILL memory instead.I don't regret the decision one bit. Both modules in this set worked right out of the box, without any bios updates (which I did later anyway to improve compatibility with Ryzen 5 CPUs and any other bios bug fixes).G.SKILL state in the product description:- Designed and tested for AMD.- Optimized compatibility with AMD X370, B350 and A320 chipset.They were not lying.

Very good RAM at an excellent price. Will be buying more. Everything on my workstation is blazing fast. Was apprehensive slightly over getting 2400mhz over the 3200mhz but what I'm using my system for, it works great. Mostly software development within visual studio and heavy use of Adobe creative cloud.

Confirming will work on a Ryzen setup.Tested on a Asus and Gigabyte motherboard.
