I installed this RAM on my L440 workstation laptop. After rummaging through the tedious and tiny screws, I finally managed to open the back cover where I witnessed the beauty of high quality internals. (thank you Lenovo) My current 8 GB of RAM (4 GB x 2 DIMMs) were wimpy because they caused freezing. Those were from Samsung. Although Samsung is an an excellent manufacturer, I think that in this case (for computer memory: internals) G.Skill is better. It's like going to Ferrari for a Sports car, or Mercedes for a luxury car -If you get what I mean.I run virtual machines quite often for school and for my own experimentation/learning. IT student.
