Just received the 8 Cup Coffee Pot today. The Coffee Pot will comfortably hold 2 full 24-ounce cups of water. I measured the amount using an enamelware 24-ounce cup. I filled the pot to the bottom of the spout, inside the pot. and there are no leaks from the seam or the bottom of the coffee pot. For morning coffee, before heading out on the trail, this pot should serve me well for 2 mugs of Cowboy Coffee. I plan on using this pot on a wood stove and also on a multi-fuel stove while camping and it should serve my needs. This pot arrived as described on Amazon. The pot is well constructed except for the clip on the lid, as noted by other reviews. When I received this coffee pot it was well packaged,

We needed something for camping in our little camper trailer to heat water - after reading the description this looked perfect, we didn’t want a percolator and as the description states - this is not a percolator. I also got a recommendation from a friend who said he used one too. I’m not giving the full stars because as some reviews said, the metal clip that holds the lid in place is pretty flimsy. Also, after using it each morning on a propane grill for three days it appears a little rusty around the lid edge. Otherwise, it holds a great amount of water for four people and was perfect for heating water for tea, and heating water for our French press. We camped with 4 people and the issue wasn’t heating water,

Decent quality but not great. The top was taped shut and when I removed the tape a little bit of paint came off. No big deal. The way the lid is connected to the base is via a little soft piece of bent metal. Yeah that won’t last long but id’s not really needed so no big deal. It did heat up water just fine as intended.

Lost one star only 'cause I had to take a pair of pliers and finish assembling the darn pot. The little clip that holds the lid to the handle wasn't cinched down right a'tall. Took about two minutes with a set of needle nose pliers to fix the dern thing. Otherwise, a real nice pot for making genuwine cowboy coffee.

The only fault is with the hinge piece that holds the top cover. It is pretty flimsy as others mentioned. Most old style coffee pots do not have hinged lids anyway. I removed the piece and kept the lid as a separate piece. I will see how it holds up with use.

This coffee pot was perfect for my needs. Big enough for several cups of coffee and sturdy enough to make "cowboy coffee."

This little coffee pot was exactly what I expected it to be.It looks so cute sitting on top of my stove.

Nice little pot. Heated water in it then used french press to make coffee.
