I’m delighted with this spray hose.My flexible coil hose which was only 6 months old had uncoiled and I needed a replacement. I hadn’t thought of this type of hose until looking up what was available and I have to say I imagined it might not be as flexible as the coil type and I expected to either love it or hate it but it was worth trying - I personally love it - she who dares wins.It was easy to fit. My initial thoughts that it might not be flexible or ‘behave’ in the way the other type do and been unfounded. Initially when fitted it did seem a bit stiff but a tiny tweek put it in the right place and now after every shower it goes back into the same position with problem.

I found it very hard to choose the right colour to go with shiny chrome fittings (shower head etc) as there are so many conflicting comments. Trust me! If you have chrome fittings this is the colour that matches and it looks great. I bought it a little longer than the old fashioned hose I was replacing (1,75m vs 1.5m) recognising that it's less flexible and needs more hose to get round a corner. When it came out of the packaging it was cold and tightly coiled and I thought it would never lie flat on my shower wall. Fitting was a breeze. Just unscrew the old and screw on the new. No leaks and I only used finger tight. The longer of the two screw fittings goes on the shower head and fitted neatly and precisely into the holder (must be a standard size).

You would think that a shower hose is a shower hose but I have had new hoses that leaked at one or both ends regardless of replacing washers etc This one did not leak.This is basically a heavy duty plastic hose. Despite the name being "flex" it means it is not as flexible as the normal ones which have interconnected metal rings over an internal plastic hose. This can mean it hangs a bit more awkwardly than the more flexible hoses as the bend radius is greater (as the hose has to to be thick enough not to kink). To take a more extreme example imagine using the more sturdy hosepipe as a shower hose.I also feel it is poorly described as being chrome in colour. It is not.

I found this 1.75m hose on Amazon for very little more than the price of the 1.5m one, the latter being the length of my old hose. I'm glad I chose it because the extra bit of length gives more freedom of movement when the shower head is hand held. Prior to receiving the hose I was a bit anxious if the conical end was going to fit in my shower head holder on the wall, but before I broke open the packaging I measured it and compared it to the old one. Sure enough it turned out to be a perfect fit. Unscrewing the old hose and fitting the new one took me all of two minutes. The ends only needed hand tightening and it has not leaked. It did look a bit kinked in places at first,

Given this will probably be the last time I need to buy a hose for a while I can tell this will be great value in the long run.It is really robustly made but with a nice water resistant design (no gaps or bits to collect water or let it gather) and a smooth surface. I haven't even needed to wipe it down yet but I can tell when I need to it will be a doodle.I knock the score down half a star or so because the colour is not as nice as a pure chrome or stainless steel finish or fitting and it's not going to be an exact match for any of your existing taps etc. However it s always going to look good,

This fitted perfectly to my shower head, no issues, however it didn't fit perfectly to the water inlet on the wall.What I mean by the heading is when I turned on the water the hose leaked like a tsunami from the wall connection, sprayed everywhere.I had to take the two washers off the old hose and add them into end of the new hose making a total of 3 on tope of each other and then screw it into the water inlet. This then fixed the leak!So my suggestion is the packaging should provide an extra couple of washers, or thicker washers to be more universally friendly with wall connections!

It's a shower hose and was a great replacement to our previously leaky one. As we live in a high limescale area I prefer the smooth plastic coasted hoses as they are easier to keep clean. Other than that, there's little to say about a hose!However, the extra 20cm length over the previous 1.5m hose makes all the difference to the 3 x 6ft plus people in the family. No more stooping. Why can't they all be like this.it was slightly more expensive that other non branded hoses, but the length and the smooth coating was worth the extra (to me).

This hose fits perfectly and provides better flow than the old one even though internal diameter is the same - seems to be around 5.5mm but has really good flow with my shower pump.Luckily there are no leaks from the side that connects to the water supply, as per a few other reviews. Interestingly I have a Grohe shower downstairs with a similar hose. I tried that one upstairs and it leaks even though it looks the same! So it may or may not leak at the water supply depending on your connection.

Good quality product. I have another hose similar to this which was less expensive. I thought I'd try a Grohe on my other shower to see if it was any better as I often find Grohe products in hotels when I travel. The hose is no different in quality and build to my less expensive one. Also, on fixing it to the outlet elbow it needed an extra washer to make a flush seal that wouldn't dribble. It would be good if an extra washer came with the product for cases like mine.

Being all plastic - this may not seem as good as the normal metal/wire-based ones but they seem to corrode or pick up moulds that need to be kept in check etc.This is harder to handle so it may be best to get a slightly longer one to allow less tight bends/curls/etc. but so far it has none of the problems experienced before. Sure they are all cheap and sadly not expected to last decades but so far it seems a better choice - more time will tell.

The original Vado shower hose lasted about three years before it started to fall apart but the constant issue was the black mould that built up in the grooves on the outer surface - a nightmare to clean. This hose isn't quite as flexible as the original but the smooth surface will make it so much easier to clean and it provides a more powerful flow so delighted all round. We have other Grohe products in our house and the quality is top notch.

Spot on. I bought a cheaper one from Asda to begin with and returned it as that sprayed out the sides. Always pays to pay that little bit more (even though not a lot more). Decided tongo with a Grohe hose and im glad i did.Installation was quick and easy and it looks a lot nicer than the standard type of shower hoses.I installed this into a Titan shower & head. No isses fit out of the pack without any extra seals.Recommended to all.

This arrived quickly and well packed. Its ease of use is its good length and the fact that it can swivel easily where the shower head meets the hose , so the hose doesnt fight you back when you try to get it to change direction for say a normal shower, or to kneel over the bath with it if you just want to wash your hair. A joy to clean being such a perfectly smooth silver surface. One wipe over and you're there.

Quite good quality hose, there was bit confusion about which end connects to shower head as there is no clear instruction there. I figured it out hard-way that it is long end that goes into shower head. I wanted to buy second one for my other bathroom but Amazon made it prime only so bought it from elsewhere and cheaper, can't force your prime on your loyal customer instead you will lose customer.

I needed to replace the old hose that connects to the shower head as the metal spirals on the outside of the hose were coming undone and it did not look good.This hose fitted as an exact replacement and it swivels but the outer covering of the hose is plastic so it should never become exposed.Great buy..
