I had no idea how a shower hose can make such a difference to a shower...- First of all the aesthetic is very modern and very nice to look at- In plastic, so it does not feel cold against the skin and no ridges, so easy to clean- but in my view what makes the difference between this hose and the usual standard ones, is the inner size of the pipe, which I believe is larger than usual. As a result, the water output is greater, thus leading to a fabulous invigorating shower.I hope (I am sure) this hose will last very long, but if I need to change again I would have no hesitations to spend a little extra more to buy this one.

As one reviewer has said, I also never thought a shower cable can change my life. But even at 20 quid, this one has.I've no idea how Grohe do it but after more than 3 months of use there is not a single leak yet. The head can swivel independently of the hose (how did they manage that??) so it never gets tangled up like cheap hoses.The finish is completely smooth so no grooves for dirt to build up, you don't need to clean these.I can see this lasting at least 5 years. I guess in some cases you really do get what you pay for.Fantastic hose, highly recommended!

Quality product, instantly reassured with the feel of this hose.You can tell the difference from the cheapos straight away.... It's Robust.A rubberised silver hose with no concertina rings to fill up with black scum.The extra length means I can finally wash my hair without crouching down.The hose end swivels so the hose doesn't twist... you can finally go nuts housing down your dingle berries.The hose end is knurled so grips the shower bracket well (usually a rubber o-ring).Even the kids can't twist or kink this one.Well chuffed, you get what you pay for.

Fed up of cheap hoses, the last one I got was the spiral type encased in a rubber coating to prevent the build up in the metal wrap but it split at the connection after 6 months, I decided to go for a better quality & found it.Extra long at 2m, the shower head connection spins so its cannot get twisted, it's got a 50kb breaking strain and decent warranty.you get what you pay for and I expect this to still be like new in 5 years time.4/5/2013still looks like new!

I have been a fan of Hans Grohe products, the quality is the best I have seen and used compared tobthe other leading brands and the warranty that they provides also give peace of mind if anthing happens. Great prodcut and easy to install. Water pressure is definitely better that came with the electric shower. Im a tall man and the extra length reallu does help and no more cold moments when the hose used to twist as this one is made to be tangle free

Just what we wanted.The previous hose was a 'spiral flexy' type and despite regular cleaning it collected gunk which requires additional effort to remove.This is smooth and so easy to clean.It is matt silver but complements the existing system perfectly.It is longer (1.5m) than the previous hose but this is not a problem for us.Well worth the money.

As it stands one month in. All ok. The hose it's self looks and feels like a good quality garden hose that has a sliver sleeve over it. So quite strong for just an indoor shower. The shower head connector is free to spin so will not bend or stress the cable.All in all, good so far. Only time will tell. 5 stars for now.

I've had this for a few months now and I'm really happy with it. I live in a really hard water area and all of my previous hoses rusted and split quickly. This one is still going strong with no leaks. I would defo buy this again but I don't think I'll need to!

Really impressed - would never go back to the grime catching corrugated version. Looks really smart and very easy to fit. Worth the initial outlay - I can't imagine when I'd have to replace this. Looks smart too. Delivered quickly. Great. Thanks.

This is a very worthwhile upgrade or replacement part for a shower that's been in use for many years.It's plain silver - not that coil finish but a really grand plain silver hose.Very pleased

Good quality and easily cleanable. Only gripe, and it's a small one, is that the material is so thick that the hose isn't as flexible as some I've had in the past.
