This is a really excellent shower hose. It doesn't become either hot or cold, so when it touches your skin it just feels neutral. It's flexible and light (although certainly not flimsy), it was simplicity itself to fit to a standard Triton shower - and doesn't leak or drip at all. It's darker than the metal coil-type hose which is usually fitted to showers, and it has a slight sheen/glow - so it looks better and more luxurious.Thank you to the reviewers here who mentioned that both washers were packed into one end of the hose, otherwise I would have missed that fact. I was fed up of going through numerous shower hose replacements that either split or became stiff as a board. I liked the idea of the hose being encased in plastic and so no issues of lime scale deposits around the usual stainless flex covers. Also the collars at the end, the fixings are narrow and not bulky, meaning this when fitted allowed the shower head to slot into the existing holder on the wall. All in and in varying measures of value, this item ticks them all, Build quality is excellent. Just a note as others have said, the washers are attached on one end if i remember, so just be aware to fit these in place before attaching.

Excellent quality, Easy to keep clean and with the free rotating end it doesn't force the spray head to try and twist away.Points to note:Before fitting, put it in the bath in some warm/hot water to ease straightening the hose out, remember it's been coiled in the box for a while.Use grippy gloves or similar to fit as the end shrouds are smooth and difficult to initially tighten.If you have low pressure or low flow then this hose may not be for you, I used it on an electric shower, and noticed a slight drop in flow at the head, partially because it's a narrower bore than the original hose, but also it's longer.

Bought this hose to replace a cheaper hose bought from a DIY chain for an over the bath mixer shower head. Used it a couple of times and the hot water passing through the hose softened it and set a permanent kink limiting the water flow. Fitted this new hose and have used it several times and have had no problems whatsoever. Added benefit is that although it looks a milky silver the smooth plastic coating means I shouldn't get any scale or rusting. It is expensive for a shower hose but maybe a case of you get what you pay for.

Fantastic universal shower hose. I replaced an old Mira one which has many grooves that catch limescale and soap scum. It was a nightmare to keep clean and was also prone to leaking. The Hansgrohe one is sleek and looks very sophisticated. It doesn't have any grooves to catch dirt, or to fail in the future and cause leaks, and it is a great length too at 1.6M. Initially it hangs slightly strangely due to having been packaged in a tight spiral, but it soon relaxed into a normal shape.A great buy.

Bought to replace a shorter hansgrohe hose which started leaking after 8 years regular use. Found it at a good price on Amazon. A quality original hansgrohe item and easy to fit, with clear instructions. In operation, it has an attractive and resilient 'matt shine' finish that's easy to wipe clean and doesn't attract calcium deposits like metal hose. 2m length allows use of shower head on additional holder halfway down long side of bath, as well as high on shower rail, without stretching

This hose is excellent, it looks smart and the fact that the surface is smooth means it doesn't get dirt and limescale in grooves like the other hoses I had before. Metal hose is covered with kind of plasticky surface so it doesn't scratch the bath. I used to get segmented hose replacement every year as they always got dirty and broke so they would leak. It looks like it will last much longer, only time will tell. So far I had it for about 4 months and it still looks like new.

very impressed with service from amazon - placed order for this product saturday lunchtime and received it sunday morning!like other reviews i was fed up with the cheap coil type shower hose that i was forever cleaning and replacing, so decided to go for this product which is really good and worth paying the extra for.Took seconds to fit and was supplied with washers - looks really good and requires minimal cleaning and doesnt kink.would definately reccommend.

Really nice shower hose. Doesn't need cleaning very often and when it does, it's so easy; just a quick wipe with a sponge and it's done. The only criticism I have is that the ends are a bit smaller than the original hose which came with my shower, so it isn't gripped well by the shower wall clip, allowing the shower head to point in the wrong direction on occasion.Note that both black rubber washers are stored together at one end of the hose when packaged.

It looks good, stays clean, doesn't wrinkle. Two slight issues(a) the conical connectors are very long, and need to be done up tight to avoid leaks. I needed three washers on the shower end to get the thing to seal properly.(b) I don't understand the "freely rotating bit". I've had to undo the shower head, rotate it and do it up two or three times. This makes it the same as every other showerhead I've ever had.So, I like it but it's not quite perfect.

This is amazing quality washable not like them link metal ones the silver can not rub off as its sealed behind the rubber tube , fittings of good quality you get what you pay for and no wonder . looks the biz in my shower, I love it love it . I have standard taps and fittings on shower head fits great 2 washers supplied there both together under plastic cover .Well its well worth the money might get a smaller one for hair wash and dog wash use .

Bought this to replace a 2 year old Mira hose which started to leak. This hose is very good and although plastic it does not look cheap (due to the metallic look). It comes complete with washers at both end and the screw on connector at the shower head end swivels on the hose to prevent it getting all twisted. Only one downside though is that the diameter of the hose is smaller than the previous hose so the water pressure is slightly lower.

This is an expensive hose but the built in swivel means it should also much longer than the hoses without swivels as it is stressed far less in use. It has a nice finish which is easy to keep clean. it is also nicer to use as the handset doesn't get so twisted. I have noticed that the swivel section drips occasionally while the hose is on the stand but as soon as the swivel moves it seals. (hose 3 years old).

The hose is excellent in every way and just like the previous one that lasted many years. My only quibble was with the fact that the new one came without a rubber washer in the supply coupling and it immediately leaked without it. The other end came with a new washer. Checked the packaging, luckily the old hose was still in the bin and I was able to salvage and use the old supply end washer. All is now well.

Purchased this as it is said to be matched to the Grohe Vitalio Loop Shower Holder.the reason I had to replace the hose was due to the fact that at some point my tenant had replaced the hose which was marginally larger than the slider holder profile whch resulted in the handset splitting the holder. Hence the importance of matching the hose end profile to the slot in the slide holder.
