Straightforward...the rubber seals and the thread on the hose screws work perfectly. Attaching it to the wall connection and the shower head was a joy! I love the silver hose, and I bought it to replace an older metal finish hose, something I did in another shower in the house and never regretted even after a couple of years.

It does a job and my wife likes it but I'm not sure it looks so great so a triumph of function over form.
