In the city I will not secure my bike, but to go shopping where 30 people or a cafe directly before it is enough for me. I decided first for a cheap as you lockpicking each lock. 2 wrenches will not function as there is no padlock what the chain terminates. Think you have to go with force (pliers + hammer / bolt cutters) and that falls on when parking is busy (have Lidl, Rewe, Cafe, side by side with a large parking lot). It fulfills its purpose. If you want to place your bike safely where you do not come around a folding lock.

This is the perfect length to reach from my bike seat to my frame, with just enough slack to still mount my under-saddle bike bag (see photo). Really appreciate that there is no wasted length in this application. I've also secured my bike bag to this lock via stainless steel zip ties, making it a bit more likely that the bag will stay in place as well. The final thing I have looped through this lock is a custom cut SS cable to secure my TiGr lock

I use it to lock my Brooks saddle to my bike frame. I tuck the locking mechanism up under the rails underneath the saddle. It serves its purpose without complication. This would, however, never come close to protecting your bike at the same level as a high-quality u-lock or chain. I would not ever use this as a stand-alone or primary lock. As an added layer of protection for components, this works fine.

Works to secure a full-face helmet to my bike. Long enough to go through the face opening and the frame. This is small and light enough to stash on the bike, even a large pocket - a big positive. The downside, of course, is that the chain is only enough to deter a walk-by thief. It would quickly yield to bolt cutters or a cutting disk. Five stars because the compromise is about right.

This should be your secondary lock, not your primary (use a Abus or Kryptonite Ulock for that). For example, this one can be used for the front wheel, if you have a Ulock for the rear wheel and frame. This lock is light enough to carry with you, especially if you don't plan on carrying the heavier Ulock with you, and still very solid and easy to open w/ the key or lock shut.

I've been using this to protect my Brooks saddle. I lock up outside next to a college so I feel more secure that my bike will be safe. This has helped me feel just a little more confident. Won't prevent a motivated theif, but just enough to deter. I like the covered chain a lot. Make sure to measure. It was a tight fit to get it where it needed to be.

Convenient and super-light lock that is great for holding your bike outside a shop, or your suitcase in a cafe or train. Usual Abus quality and ease of use. Obviously, though, not any deterrent against the determined thief, so not for longer-term security or overnight peace of mind. But pocketable and easy folding.

I also thought it would be bigger. 60cm seems to be long but not so when in a loop and you need to attach it to something else. The chain itself is also very small. I will look to get a bigger one but being small it was perfect for our backpack as it is also relatively lightweight.

This is not a very safe lock, but it's safer than a cable lock and really easy to use. A nice option to get kids to learn using a lock. Also, a lot of cable locks get cut by wirecutters, while this one requires a more serious bolt cutter tool that many thieves don't risk with.

the 60 cm is shorter than i expected! ...my bad i didn't check. super light and does the job: i only bought it as an extra deterrent and i only lock the tyre with it... i would never use it to secure my bike on its own. and i mean never.

The quality is, unsurprisingly, excellent! The size is small, which is sufficient for my requirements. Keyhole is very smooth even when it rains, does not require much effort. Totally recommend the product.

Solid lock. I use it to secure the saddle to my bicycle frame, so that opportunistic bicycle thieves with an allen key wouldn't be able to steal my seat.A must-have for bicycle commuters.

For my purposes sufficient, bike mostly always in sight with a drinking pause. If you have a top bike, which has a high price, I would buy another lock with a high safety factor.

A padlock that complies, if you need more security look for a top-end. The use I give you just is to tie the bike when I am shopping and more than anything is dissuasive.

This ABUS chain lock with textile cover is really great: lightweight, stable, inexpensive and does not scratch the paint of the bike. I really recommend it
