My work results in me spending many nights away in hotels up and down the country - many of which I notice tend to have Grohe products in their bathrooms - based on this fact I took the gamble on purchasing 2 of these without physically seeing and touching them - at the time of buying they were less that £55 each. I am yet to install them but from first appearances you can see that they are a solid and well made piece of kit - the Chrome plating is of a high standard and then head of the mixer moves very smoothly. Overall I am very pleased with them to date - quality taps at a fraction of the cost elsewhere - note as per the other reviews as these were made for the European market - you will

So far so good... after a week of use there are no leaks, no dribbles etc... smooth action and what you would expect of German engineering basically... I'm assuming its performance will continue for many years to come, the last one similar to this, lasted 20 years although not a Grohe... The fitting instructions are in diagram form so no lengthy reading required which is excellent when you want to get it working as soon as possible. Basic DIY skills only are needed to fit this tap; the flexible hot and cold "tails" require 2 x "15mm Compression 3/8" BSP Male Iron Thread European Flexible Tap Adapters" (copy and paste if searching in Amazon) if connecting to standard 15mm copper piping.

Could not fault in any way. Eccentric tap mounting works really well in allowing access to sinks and quality of product shines through. Very smooth operation from moment of installation and yes, you do need to buy the adaptors! Spout attachment reflects precision engineering and requires precision fitting of internal washer so be prepared if installing yourself!! Admired by all the family .....daughter and son in law are going to buy one as soon as they move into their new house!!

Brilliant tap. Stylish design, and very impressive materials, backed up by 5 year warranty. Very impressive movement, and the ability to clear the bowl area of the sink, makes filling up for a car wash so much easier. Because the design allows rotation at the base, as opposed to the traditional swan neck design, means there's no obvious weak point if you do have move the neck of the tap. Very impressed.

Nice chrome finish and smooth tap action in terms of on off but side to side action a little stiff. Some cheap taps do this if they are over tightened when fixing to sink but I don't think this is the reason with this grohe. My bath taps which are 5 years old are also eurosmart and still have smooth on off action. Water doesn't splash which is nice

A robust yet elegant design. I was particularly impressed with the ability to rotate the whole tap at the base compared to the more usual rotation of the neck; great action and one fewer source of leakage down the line.I have had the brand in my bathroom for around 10 trouble free years so do not expect to be calling upon the five year warranty.

Bought this to replace another tap. Then had to order separate adaptors to fit onto the pipes. Has a nice feel to the tap, but I'm never convinced on mixer taps as it can take a while for the hot water to come out really "hot". But I had to do what I was told from my wife to order this tap. It is now installed and working.

Love the taps (I bought two!) but foolishly didn't do my research properly first so hadn't realised that I should have also bought UK Compression Adaptors for installation. The plumber wasn't best pleased to have to trek back and forth to get the adaptors (oops!) but now they're in situ, the taps are great!

Easy to fit once all the under cupboard items were removed, nice to have a tap that doesn't splash when you turn it full on thanks to the aerator, you do need a couple of unions to connect to the 15m/m pipework which I sourced from my local plumbers shop. Excellent tap and very pleased with it.

Great tap, a bargain at about £50, well made, great brand. Bought to replace an 18yr old Franke mixer, that just wore out, this seemed to be a fair replacement & we are very pleased. If this last as long as its predecessor, I'll be happy!! Cant fault German quality...

Good mixer tap, well made and very good quality, I would recommend. Be careful when ordering to make sure whether you have a combi pressured system or tank fed, the hoses on the mixer are very small and on a tank fed system not very good pressure, I made that mistake.

What a really nice tap. Very easy to fit. Comes complete with flexible hoses. These are attached to the tap so cannot be removed. The flexible hoses are very long but not 15mm so you need TWO 15mm to 3/8 connectors which are NOT INCLUDED in the box.

Simplistic sleek design bought to replace a tap that started leaking after 2 years use. Hopefully this Grohe tap will last longer! Takes up way less room and is easy to use...bought the UK adapters and my plumber was done in 10 mins!

Lovely tap. We ordered for our kitchen sink. It cleans up so nicely, turns left and right which is handy for cleaning out the sink. It looks stylish and feels sturdy and solid.

Again, Grohe is quality through and through. Customer was thrilled with the quality of this tap in her new kitchen. For the price i would use them time and again.
