Fabulous tap at a great price (under £80 from Amazon). Silky smooth just as you would expect from a Grohe tap.Be warned the tap tails cannot be changed and are not a conventional size. It uses a 3/8-inch compression tap tails where as most conventional tap tails are 1/2-inch compression. The tap tails seem to be built into the tap and therefore cannot be changed even if you wanted the more popular size.Therefore you will need to reduce the inlet 15mm compression down to 12mm compression fitting. You won't be able to connect straight to a 15mm isolation valve. A reducing coupler 15-12mm can be hard to find.Luckily my local Screwfix had them in stock.[...]

The Grohe taps are one of the best quality taps available. We have used the brand on all of our household taps. This particular tap I purchased for my grandparents and they haven't had a Grohe tap before. The price was unbelievable and very reasonable, my grandparents had looked at a similar tap from B&Q but it was going to cost £150 for no known brand. They are really pleased with the tap, it runs very smooth, the pressure is good. As common on European taps you need two reducers from 15mm copper to 12mm.

Good quality tap to be expected from Grohe. Used in a commercial setting. Smooth action and will last. Don’t forget to order the reducer fittings to suit.
