Great British Diesels is one of the worst ever add-ons available. The sounds of the locos are really rubbish, and very loud too. The activities are boring, there are only 6 of them for the Settle and Carlisle line and they include freight, shunting and train rescues and very few passenger runs. The passenger coaches are not very good either, the Mark 2 is quite good but the Mark 1 is not very good at all. My advice is do not buy unless you have a big interest in diesel locos.

Whilst the initial packaging looks good and all looks well, I have to say that the sounds let this pack down a lot.Most of the engine sounds do not correlate with the actual Loco, which really annoyed me.The activities are good and the graphical work is excellent, other than that the sound is the biggest issue.

Whether i brought a defective game but the sounds to the locos are attrocious.In fact if a young child was to operate it at full volume i am sure it would cause ear damage.It is a shame as the locos are brillaint.Let me know through this forum whether yours is the same
