I have used this Eau de toilette for over 35 years and it remains my favourite. I have tried (and still use) others but this always provides a fresh and lasting perfume which invaribly results in complimentary comments from members of my female colleagues and friends. BE CAREFUL though, the other Gentleman blends i.e. Gentleman Only / Gentleman for men etc (the ones that have lttle or no colour) are IMO rubbish in comparison. They do not have the distinctive aroma and within a few minutes seem to have disappeared. It begs the question "Why does Givenchy given the same name to two distinctively different perfumes ?" Whatever . . . the original is still the best.

I found that it suited my skin type 35 years ago, used it exclusively ever since. Picked up a customers daughter when she was six. I met her again 20 years later and she remembered my aftershave as she kissed me on the cheek. There maybe better ones out there - but I will never know! Wear it everyday. I confess I sampled the newer version - Nah.I think I am not the only one, as the prices for this version have risen by 25% over recent years.

I started wearing this cologne when I was 18 because I loved the undertone of patchouli. Around five years back I started wearing allsorts of new and dare I say more modern fragrances. BUT last week I needed to get some new stuff so I went online and saw this at avery good price and hey presto I'm turned back on it and will now go back to only using it.

I have used Givenchy Gentleman eau de toilette since it,s apearence on the market in the late 70ies, I am always asked where ever I am , UK , ITaly, France , Dubai, New York, what kind of product I use and I have recommended it to many and I know of many who took my advice and are now using it , Givenchy is a manly product and its aroma is unique .

Whenever I wear Givinchy Gentlemen there are always people who will tell me they love the fragrance and they would like the name so they can buy it for there other half my wife has been buying it for me for years it lasts for the whole day ,athough i have other fragrances this is my absolute must have Tony Irwin

This classic fragrance has for many years evoked compliments from all ages. A distinct aroma prevails for a considerable time frame hence would quite simply undoubtedly recommend this as this product has proved to remain a perennial choice as the gold standard for which to measure the other leading competitors.

As a user of this for many years, this is the only EDT I ever use. Never found anything better than this for me. I always buy the spray, as it seems to maintain it's fragrance from start to finish of the bottle. It only ever receives favorable comments.

Have been useing this product for years...Always a nice, clean and fresh aristocratic fragrance...that lasts and lasts.People often comment about "The nice smell!!" A real classic of all time..

I have many of the Givenchy Gentleman products and have used them for more than 20 years... such a beautiful light patchooli smell not overpowering... just warm and acceptable
