I tried a sample of this a few months back and it's literally all I've been thinking about, so I finally caved and bought it yesterday at John Lewis.Used today for the first time, just one spray of it and 9 hours later it's still there and smells just as good as when I'd put it on this morning ?? it has a great scent too with a mix of a woody base and a fruity/flowery top-note. In a similar ballpark to PR One Million.Highly recommended grabbing a tester sample if you don't believe me, great Eau De Parfum!

Gentleman by Givenchy is a fabulous, masculine, sweet, powdery, vanilla fragrance with notes of bergamot and patchouli....Givenchy Gentleman however is a fragrance from the time of the dinosaurs. You can wear this in the office, for going out in the evenings and particularly autumn and winter. It lasts well and the dry down is amazing.

Awesome fragrance, definitely for the colder weather and heavy ln the vanilla in the dry down but it is a smoky seductive vanilla. Great lasting power on clothes especially and definitely not linear, the changes this stuff goes through in the hours following application is brilliant! Not for teenagers in my opinion...

Just bought this bottle to replace an earlier one which has just run out. I like deep, musky / woody fragrances and this fits the bill totally. The additional cost of an eau de parfum is absolutely worth it, and I mingine that I'm going to be buying this for many years to come.

I was bought this on my travels and it’s very very pleasant. I haven’t worn any of the previous namesakes from Givenchy - but this is excellent. Lasts the whole day and has drawn many compliments!
