Although Ghost smells reminiscent to Turkish delight to me the fragrance isn’t gourmand. This sweet smell is due to the heady top notes of rose, sweet-but-soft fruits, and vanilla.The middle phase sees a bit powdery as the other florals develop, and as a whole it seems to slightly warm up, thanks to the amoretti and frankincense developing and spicing everything up.The best phase, to me, is when the long lasting vanilla and fruits, together with the lingering spice, combine with the woods and soft musk in the dry down.Scent notes: Hibiscus, rose, amoretti grains, jasmine, sandalwood, frankincense, vanilla, musk, ambergris and apricots.GHOST is a heady fragrance, so the lasting power is wonderful.

To start with, the perfume scent is very nice and it's mostly jasmine. Jasmine is naturally quite heavy scented flower. This perfume gave me a headache, even thought it's not too strong and heavy, I would say it's moderate heavy scent. It is long lasting, but you will have to spray once every 2 hours if you want to keep the smell strong, otherwise it fades to quite light after few hours. I also have sensitive skin and this perfume did cause my skin to irritate, redness did not appear but the feeling of your skin irritated is not very nice. The bottle is quite slinky and modern, it's even slimmer than on the photo I would say.I like the smell, but it's a bit too heavy for me and the alcohol made my skin to irritate.

The important thing about a perfume is that like any smell, it helps to encourage the building of memories within the brain. So the smell should be so memorable that when you do smell it again it takes you back to a time of closeness, where the only thing you were breathing was a shared moment with the hint of perfume in the background. It becomes almost like a Pavlovian reaction of joy and happiness, every time the aroma hits your nostrils.I'm not sure if Ghost does this, because I bought it for my mum and I'm not that close to her. But she says it is fabby so I have given it 5 stars because I trust her judgement.

Ghost perfume isn't really my favourite as it is quite sweet but I'm happy to use it for daytime wear.Always interested to have a look at a gift set to compare value and this compares well.There are six products with a RRP of £39, reduced to £29 when I reviewed it. The perfume along would cost approximately £20 on its own so I think this say is good value. It is presented in a big box which is shaped like a book with a fairy tale theme.This would be a lovely present for someone and justiciably good value if you want it for yourself.

I am cancelling my criticism. I found how to remove the top collar and it now works perfectly. So now 5 stars given.Admittedly this was bought for Xmas 2016 and the cellophane-wrapped box has only just been opened. But the aerosol nozzle is below the level of the top so the perfume just makes a mess everywhere instead of spraying it where you want. Does anyone know how to raise the nozzle? It's probably just a dud bottle, and after all this time there's no point complaining, but buyer beware.

This is the nicest and most sensual of all the Ghost perfumes. It changes the longer it is on you, it starts out really fresh, moving to subtle and then to sensual, this makes it perfect for both day and evening wear. I have this perfume for myself, and my two daughters and they are in total agreement with me. It is worth purchasing as it is so versatile.if I could give it 10 stars I would without a hint of doubt. Hope this helps in your next choice of fragrance.

This si a fantastic gift set. The fragrance is a nice scent that lasts longer than even some of the more expensive ones. You get a lot of items for your money - 50ml ghost purfume, 5ml splash, 100g soap, 100ml bath oil, 30ml hand cream and a pouch. All these are displayed in a large package that resembles a book. This gift set is the same price as just buying the perfume, so this makes this a superb buy. A perfect gift or for your own indulgence.

Bought on behalf of a family member so this is based on their use.Scent is long lasting but not overpowering to the extent where you hug someone and their still wearing the scent the following week (some will know what I mean). Ideal for day or evening use giving a clean and fresh fragrance and the 100ml bottle for longer lasting at £25 made this smell all the better! Certainly their favourite scent.Comes in nice box with wrapper seal.

Bought this as was on offer with Amazon - the price for 100ml was amazing. The scent is as I remember it despite the many reviews regarding this being 'a fake'. For me the scent does last for quite a few hours. I would agree that the top is a bit crap. It broke the same day, however, my hubby being a bit of an engineer managed to refit the collar and the top works fine again now ! In all very pleased with the purchase

I like the book box gift look. It’s novel and makes the gift look pretty and expensive.Inside you get a small bottle of mink nail colour which is actually a very nice neutral- it goes on smoothly without streaking.You also get a little bottle of the edt Splash. It’s quite subtle but you get the nice hint of sandalwood. The bottle has a little stopper in the lid so you have to dab the bottle on your wrist etc.

Ghost Original is a gorgeous perfume, to me it smells like Turkish Delight, with a lovely warm, powdery incense dry down, and as the body gets warmer, so the beauty of this fragrance gets better and better, that makes it an ideal Summer perfume, I love it very much, as I only like powdery scents, not acidic, as so many are these days. Also the price on Amazon is fantastic, compared to the High Street shops!

This is my all time favourite perfume ive been buying this perfume for years and this is the cheapest I've found it for 26 you can only normally get the small bottle and this is for the 100ml 100% genuine product and smell lasts for hours people always say I smell nice when I have this on deffo worth buying only downside is it doesn't last long but that might be cause I wear this everyday without fail ;)

This perfume if just fantastic. I not a big perfume person but their are one or two perfumes i really like and this is one of them, its great for everyday wear. The price is great for 50ml, i have in the past paid alot more for a 30ml. If you are going to buy a perfume this year, this should be your first buy. It arrived about 3 days after placing my order.
