I love these shoes!!! They are so comfy to wear and they look really stylish. I did try these on in a shop so I knew what size to order as sometimes I am between sizes. But I bought them on Amazon as they were a third cheaper! I am a size 4 and whilst they are snug they are not uncomfortable as I think with this style of shoe they are best being snug than loose. The leather will soften in time. They are however very comfortable and I have worn them for hours at a time. Price wise they are not too expensive for what they are as you pay for what you get and you could pay a lot more for the same quality in a different pair of shoes!I love the elasticated sides as they are easy to slip on and off.

Up untill a couple of years ago I was a standard size 7. Now I have to try size 7 & size 7.5. So glad I ordered both sizes as I could try the shoes on in doors at different times of the day to find the correct size for myself.I settled for the 7.5 size. I was told about 5 years ago I had a minor foot malformation -right one- that gives me severe pain if I walk too much with completely flat shoes. The heel height of these shoes are perfect for me. Lovely comfortable leather shoe. Perfect heel height for the Mature woman that likes to look smart/fashionable without walking around in agony with higher heels!

This is my second pair of Gabor Hertha Black Comfort shoes. I was really worried when my old shoes started to showsigns of wear and tear. They were the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They were like slippers. Afterseven years I finally had to shift myself and try to find a new pair. The first pair were bought from a shop that is no longeron the High Street. Thank goodness for the internet. Second pair arrived and fit perfectly. The first pair I shall use in the gardenuntil they actually fall apart.

I was looking for a more substantial shoe for the winter months and these definitely deliver on all fronts. They are warm and comfortable. They were a bit stiff at the start but after some wear they have bedded in well. I would say that because of the style you do need a long shoe horn to get them on but the elasticated sides leave room for expansion. My feet are usually wider fitting but I haven't had a problem with these at all. Would recommend.

I always buy Gabor footwear - love the brand. Well-made shoes, always a perfect fit and comfort is guaranteed. Bought these to replace an older pair of Gabor loafers. They look smart too with the four small metallic 'stud' features which are slightly elasticated. There is also an elasticated stretch part on the other side and the shoes are lightweight. Ideal for autumn/winter as they cover the upper part of the foot nicely too.

I love the shoe - I bought a pair about 3 years ago but damaged the toe area. I chose the same size - 5. I needed that size for the length but this pair are a little slack in the heel area - I am very narrow in that area. However they are moulding to my foot and I find then comfortable even with thick socks. The more up to date style appeared to be a wider fitting in every shop and site I looked at.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! I own 4 pairs of Gabor now. 3 of them bought online. All fit like a glove. Amazing to wear. Can't even think on buying anything else now. My foot is a bit wider than average. Wearing pattern - busy professional consultant, London commuter day. 7 am to 8 pm, trains, tube, walking, offices... Amazing!

Excellent classic shoe, this is my fourth pair of these, I just keep buying a new pair as the old ones wear out. I suffer from feet that are narrow at the heel, but wide and flat at the front and I have difficulty finding shoes that fit, are comfortable and not frumpy, but these fit the bill.

I bought these shoes last year but not worn them very much when I noticed a fault. After some debate with the Amazon customer service agents, I spoke with the Supervisor, who arranged for this replacement pair. I like this design very much and am hoping that this pair lives longer....

I ordered these shoes yesterday and they arrived today.The shoes are beautifully soft and comfortable.I know how expensive Gabor is , but for the price it is unbelievable.Gabor is my best friend!Thank you amazon for such a great price- love it!

I have had two pairs of these shoes over the years and these were again replacements for a worn pair that lasted a number of years.They look good for either work or smart going out shoes, and they are extremely comfortable.Highly recommended.

Arrived ok in the end after a few delivery issues. Fit well, still testing them out indoors but looking good. Soft uppers and comfortable - bit worried they'll crease up rather quickly, but otherwise nice shoes. Many thanks.

Don't want to be named in your review listing. All seems to be fine, but to be worn in the coming winter when weather is wet and miserable, so hope they are waterproof. Will wear other warmer boots when it's really cold.

Very smart shoe but regrettably too small. I ordered a size 3 which is normally a European size 36 but on the side of the box it said 35.5. If you are ordering then I would go up at least a half size.

This is my second pair of these shoes, was disappointed when first pair were done as I had them daily on my feet for about 4 years, so can’t complain about value for money, excellent fit and comfort.
