This adapter works as it should - fits well on both ends and allows focus to infinity as well as minimal focus distance. The bad:- There are no instructions and I had to figure by myself how to control the shutter speed. There is a mechanism to load the shutter and fire it, and after I found it I put the lens on T mode (equivalent to B mode from DSLR) and use the camera to control the actual exposure. I wish it was written somewhere...- The RB67 lenses are large and slow. There is no reason to get this adapter unless you already have the lenses and just want to expend the use of them. Of course it is not a problem with the adapter, I just want to let people know...The good:- As I said, it works.Good fit to the camera and to the lens. Focus to infinity is allowed.- Tripod leg on the adapter for better stability.- Seems to be solid and good built.Overall, if you are thinking to use large format lenses on your Sony camera, I would recommend to go with a different system (I like the Pentacon Six). However, if you already have RB67 lenses and Sony body, this is the adapter you need and it will not disappointed you.

The nearly impossible to find Minolta 100mm Alpha mount soft focus is perfect, but the last one I saw for sale had a $1400 price tag 5 or 6 years ago! For $100, I have a decent work-around that gives very nice images. The thumb-nail wouldn't show the soft-focus effect to any useful degree, but an 8x10 image...
