I received this about a week ago and have been using it with my Zuikos: 35mm f2.0, 50mm f3.5macro, and 85mm f2.0. This unit provides a very solid connection from lens to adaptor and from adaptor to camera. There is absolutely zero play! Unfortunately I am not getting infinity focus. (It is very close to infinity but not there) on my 5d Mark II. Wondering if anyone else is having the problem. I may even have to return this thing (which I would regret because it provides an otherwise great way to use my 30 year old glass on this great new camera).

I purchased this adapter to use an OM-mount Vivitar Series 1 90mm portrait/macro lens with my Canon 5D Mark II. Made of metal, it's a little tight when mounting it to or removing it from the camera -- and it may loosen up a bit with use -- but it does the job. I was able to use the Viv lens on the 5D2 for a studio shoot with no technical issues; the model was pleased with the images. Any focusing problems were the product of my aging eyes and the lack of a proper focusing screen for manual focus. Recommended.

This adapter works pretty well. Fairly mechanically sound. (My Olympus lenses all fit ok but my Sigma and Tokina lenses fit very tightly. (These lenses fit perfectly on my bodies.) That's better, I'm sure, than some lenses fitting loosely. I wish I had gotten the model with focus confirmation; my eyes need a split screen to focus well. The prices have come down on that model.

This adapter is far superior to the standard grade unit. I had one lens (Vivitar 120-600 zoom, at 600mm) that would not achieve infinity focus with the other adapter, and it seems to with this one.

This adapter ring functions just as advertised. Tight slop-free fit. Lens still focuses to infinity. Very pleased to be able to use these great Zuiko OM lenses.
