I find it hard to understand others who offer only negative comments regarding this adapter ? one regarding tolerance and reluctance to use in conjunction with a valuable lens ? ( to me all my lenses are valuable perhaps not cost wise but usability ). The other regarding the Fit between Adapter and Lens ( saying its stuck ?).Well as a retired engineer i to have reservations myself when purchasing items , adapters , Focus doublers often called extenders ? if not made by and for the Host Camera manufacturer then we should observe caution, and most of the time we only have feedback left by others with which to make our decision on.I have a K&F Concept Lens Mount Adapter for Praktica PK K - Micro4/3 lens to body, which fits both perfectly, the main difference with this Fotodiox Lens Mount adapter is this does not have the spring loaded contact area underside where the Lens fits on the Adapter which is a better idea as any slop when attaching the lens would be taken up forming a tight fit but offers the easy of engaging the lens. This on the face of it lets the adapter down, so to make up for this the tolerance used in manufacture and quality control requires a nice tight fit ( the lens will engage the adapter where the two red dots align and with firm but not excessive force turn until the small locking Pin (the one with red dot on it ) will Click Into place preventing the lens from turning. To the person who got his stuck : simply pull down the little button with your thumb and at the same gently turn the lens Anti-Clockwise to remove, if it refuses to turn just press harder on the little button until you feel the lens free itself. I use this adapter with a Prakticar Pentacon MC PK Mount, and i agree it is a little tight but nothing to worry about ( rather tight than lose and sloppy ) then the fit to the Camera Body which i feel is much more important, nobody would want a second hand cheap lens permanently stuck to a expensive Camera Body? but again here i have no issues, it fits without use of any force to my Lumix G body and after pressing the lens release turns and come away smoothly. My advice would be to take it very gently when trying any new mount or adapter to your valuable camera body, just engage and by making a very small amount of turn until you feel it engage and lock, DO NOT FORCE if in doubt DON'T !.My only negative is the price, it is expensive when you can get the K&F Concept This:: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Concept-Mount-Adapter-Praktica-Camera/dp/B0118XQYDY/ref=pd_cp_421_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=HEVGK1B50JX0RZ2TBM3X costing over £10 less but on the downside you would have to wait a long time for it to arrive from China and i needed one Now.Final thoughts : I cant fault the actual build quality of this adapter it does it's job well and would go as far as you to can buy with confidence, i do prefer the K&F versions being cheaper but i think the better option. So you pays your money and you make your choice.
