Two parts to this review.First, Fotodiox puts the word FAST prominently in its front matter regarding its shipping. This order took 3 weeks from ordering to receipt, shipped from the US to Italy. That's not unusual but alarm bells rang because I placed the order through Amazon UK, paid in GBP, and somehow thought I'd be seeing an order crossing the Channel to the Continent. At least that set my expectation for service I could equate with "fast".Imagine my surprise when, belatedly, I was informed the item had shipped from Illinois. (At least they've got great beaches on Lake MIchigan.) But it's here.The adapter does not have electrical contacts meaning any automatic lens will only operate manually.For some digital lenses that means the diaphragm may not be adjustable. You get whatever that lens uses as its mechanical default, so far as I can see.I had forgotten that somewhere deep in the menu jungle of my GF1 there is a setting to SHOOT WITH LENS REMOVED. Ah yes. One might have enjoyed some instructional data in advance as a clue, but here we are. Fotodiox received an irate email complaining and demanding return bla bla -- before I realized. Still, a little information can go a long way.I give 4 stars because the product looks robust and precise but still is not the functional equivalent of the Lumix or Olympus models that enable full lens adjustments. THIS IS NOT CLEARLY SHOWN in the pre-purchase information I saw.4 stars to Fotodiox and Amazon UK as well for sloppy work as to delivery expectations. Or maybe 2-1/2 is more like it on that score. Really.But 4 (FOUR) stars overall nevertheless.This is also a quick take. Attaching my OM system 50mm f3.5 macro (via an additional adapter ring to step from 4/3 to OM) the result is dazzling. Maybe well outdoes the 20mm pancake which I love.

This is the second of these adapters I have bought. Like the first it arrived from the US very quickly. Fits perfectly onto both the lens and the camera.

Prompt service, though came to no use, as it did not fit, and now trying to dispose it off, or return it.
