Awesome! I’m a first time polymer clay user and it is all as advertised. I used a tinfoil, masking tape and wire armature to create my first sculpture. The clay didn’t crack or break after baking. You need to let it cool first before you can consider it cured. When I dropped this sculpture before baking , I screamed because I thought the details would get smushed but the softness/hardness is perfect for retaining fine details, though. I only had to fix it up a little. The clay is malleable and easily etched into. The pure white though, after baking, is kind of pinkish. You’ll need acrylic paints to remedy this , or add tiny details. The golden look on the yellow pieces I have in my photos is also achieved using a yellow base of clay and gold paint, just in case someone is under the impression that gold clay comes in this package. In terms of value for the amount of clay that comes, I think it’s perfectly reasonable considering its good quality. FIMO and Staedtler products generally don’t disappoint so I was expecting it to be good. Also, twenty five grams is not as little as I thought. This pack is good for miniatures especially, and for small figures. The variety of colour in the pack is also great. You can save some clay by using tinfoil armatures if you’re worried you won’t have enough. Get two packs if you plan to make more than two sculptures with similar colour schemes though, haha.

I was surprised when I saw how much cheaper it was on Amazon, because usually in stores it costs around £25 - £30! I wanted to collect as many colours as possible to start earning cash on YouTube by making tutorials on how to make charms.I think I'd recommend it to kids and adults; you can create beads for jewellery and other creative things with it!Many shades are included in the pack, however there aren't much that you can use for skin, and if you want the Fimo Effect ones like the gradient textured ones and the translucent, then you might as well buy the full 50g blocks instead, as there is only one white translucent 25g block included.A Tip: If you want to stick to pieces together without having to squish them,I suggest that you buy some liquid clay to use as a glue which hardens when baked, OR, mix water with clay and use that as a sticking solution. Both works well.

Ultimately these blocks of clay are extremely small. The strength of this product in particular is that you get a huge variety of colours to work with. If you're doing lots of small scale things with it, then this is honestly my personal recommendation. A large project sculpture that requires lots of one colour? Absolutely not the product for you.The range of colours is rather excellent as well. They're absolutely beautiful and very versatile. They mix well and don't change at all in the oven. I would follow the instructions as accurately as possible (110C / 30mins) but honestly it's hard to go wrong and if you haven't tried it before, just cook something small to test it out for confidence. No point making something extravagant just to watch it burn, but to be perfectly honest I expect it would be hard to burn so I wouldn't even worry about that.

Polymer clay tutorials on youtube led me to fimo clay. I've produced some pleasing results with it without prior experience.I've found the gloss varnish accessory useful to improve item robustness where kids are concerned. The varnish also improves looks.Colours rub off onto hands during use and it's necessary to keep hands clean between using different colours to avoid transferring onto each other, especially when switching to white.Apparently tiles or glass make the best work surfaces though so far I've just used glossy magazines and tinfoil. I'd avoid working directly on wood surfaces as its hard to clean off,and its also important to have clean surfaces to avoid contaminating the colours.

I have been using fimo I make charms for jewellery since the new year and have throughly enjoyed doing so. I originally bought this multicoloured clay pack so that I had plenty of colours to practice with before I decided whether I enjoyed making fimo things or not. I definitely recommend it to beginners to clay as the clay packs are small enough to make items. I had intended to buy the bigger blocks once I ran out of the smaller block colour but I have found that this pack from Amazon is significantly cheaper than the larger blocks and it's grey to have a selection of colours. Fimo is becoming really popular and its fab that packs with all of these colours for an amazing price exists.

I bought these to have a go at polymer clay crafting, after seeing a video which looked like it might be fun. These clay packs are half the size you can buy elsewhere, but the price is very good, especially because of the many different colours. I wanted lots of colours for certain things I was going to try to make. You need to wipe hands in between changing colours though, otherwise it will rub onto the next colour you use. But that happens with the other make of clay I bought too. It doesn't shrink or lose its colour in baking it takes the gloss well and it doesn't soak in. Would recommend, I like it & will be buying more.

This pack was around £5 cheaper than elsewhere - which is often the case when shopping with Amazon. The colours are certainly very bright but this will no doubt be rectified by the addition of either white or black Fimo. It has been a while since I last used Fimo so I am looking forward to trying out this softer version, which will, I hope, be easier to use than the original. Nicely packaged in an attractive box so very pleased with the product, overall.

Much softer and easier to use than the original stuff I used to use in the late 1980s - more like Prima if anyone ever used that. Bought as a gift for my 10 year old niece for Christmas, who once she'd got over that I bought her "plasticine" thought it was a revelation in craft stuff. My biggest error was not having had something planned for making immediately, but we got there.

Good choice for me as I am just starting out with polymer clay and this gives a great selection of colours in handy little blocks. I only use a small piece at a time so I feel like it's going to take ages to use it all, so good value for money I think. Colours are great, nice and vibrant, and the clay bakes really well. Very pleased with my purchase, I love it!

Great for my Fimo mad son who can never get enough of this modelling compound. We have bought many packs of Fimo over the last year or two for my son's steady production of pencil head animals and creatures ... It is a great way for a 10-year-old to entertain himself and unleash his creative side. Can highly recommend.

Bought as a birthday present for my 10yr old. Wanted to introduce him to fimo as I used it as a child. He loved it, said it was very calming sitting making keyrings. You can get the bigger packs for only £2 online for a large home and craft shop but this was a good starter to see if he liked it.

Amazing! I bought these to try all the different colours as a beginner to Fimo and am now selling on Etsy! Really helpful to have the 'soft' colours as you won't need to knead as much and spread the darker colours over your hands. Also found an 'effect' in this kit which was a lovely surprise!

Arrived in good time. A fantastic selection of colours. Each block of colour was slightly bigger than expected. Already made three small (5cm high) characters for my Christmas cake with most of pack still left to use! Look on YouTube for guidance videos on how to use correctly.

This is great. Easy to mould and hours of fun, I used it to create cake toppers for a 100th birthday cake and gave the left overs to the children at the event. It was a huge success with the kids producing model monsters, people and animals as well as decorating cutlery.

Really good product, but be warned: I left some of the clay on my painted table, and came back to it next day, and picked the block of clay up. The paint had liquified under it,and so came off with it! Never leave it directly on a painted surface!
