I have been a big user of Fimo for several years now. I used to use Sculpey a lot, but I like the Fimo as there is such a variety in colours and Sculpey is harder to get your hands on in this country. I purchased this set to top off a few colours that I had gone short on (white, brown and black I always run short on). These are the 250g pieces so they are each about 1/4 the size of a credit card and are a few cm thick. This is ideal for smaller jobs or for general crafts I feel. It does take some time to soften, but bakes well and mixes well when you soften it and mix it with another colour. It is also an ideal price, Amazon is cheaper than any other store I have come across and often times the set of 10 is cheaper than the set of 9.

When i was looking for some polymer clay blocks i decided I'd invest in a set of different colors, the only bad side was the size of the blocks. They were about a 1/4 size of the original blocks. Overall, you had to be cautious about how much you used but it was enough for 70-100 charms and i have still got most of the blocks and i may have to buy some white. I like the fact i don't have to go to the shops for different colors although there was no purple and the clay was hard until you've conditioned it well. For jewelry-makers i would recommend this product and for charm/creation-makers i would also recommend this product so it's a good buy.

The variety and choice of colours is nice although I wish it was offered in another combination of colours as well. I would have bought them both. You can use it as a starter pack and then make colour combinations. There are many books in Amazon on the topic although I think that Lindly Haunani's are the best. Crafters will find it a good choice to pack and take on holiday as the blocks are not too big and so easy to carry along.

this pack is perfect for beginners to start you off. the colours mix really well which is great, and its really easy to shape. only advise id give for a beginner is to was your hands with a wet wipe between each colour to avoid your project from looking grubby. also if your planning on making super tine things like tiny flowers a harder clay would be best as this tends to stick to your fingers when it gets warm.

Great for starting off a hobby, nice selection of colours, well packaged and arrived a couple of days earlier than stated so that was great! Great quality too, quite small blocks of each colour but I expected that as it does display the size of each block in the description. Just make sure you read the description/name and notice that you're buying the 10-colour pack, not the 12-pack shown in the image :)

I bought this set for my 9-year-old son who was originally given a starter set for X-Mas. He loved the fact that he this time had 10 colours and was able to make lots of monsters to put onto pencils as decorations ... He was disappointed though that no varnish was in this pack, but luckily he had some left over from the starter kit. A brilliant modelling material that kept him occupied all day.

Having been recommended this product by a European friend I had not actually used it before. The instructions on the packet were not that detailed so I slightly burnt the first group of objects that I tried to bake. The second batch were fine (15 minutes at 100 degrees Fahrenheit, still a bit damp when hot but hardens as it cools). I thought it was great and went a lot further than I thought.

I needed to make sticks of rock candy for my son's Willy Wonka hat (this was his chosen character for World Book Day) but I didn't want to buy larger quantities of each colour!This pack is perfect! It has a great selection of colours and is ideal for those one off projects.

Excellent colours and inclusion of varnish in the pack makes it a good try-out kit. Played with it with my 5 year old- she's a bit young to make anything from scratch but for supervised play it worked well, and if making small ornaments it will probably go quite a long way.

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday, when it came I was shocked by how small it was but when I showed it to her sculpture teacher at school she said it was a very good make and good for making jewellery. she has made lots of lovely buttons and beads.

Both my 7 & 8 year old love this, they have been very creative....monsters, a monkey and many more imaginative figures. Once baked the creation hardens. This pack offers a good selection of colours....I am extremely likely to buy more of this wonder stuff!

Good clay. Soft and very easy to shape, does not dry even if left open for days. Does not change form when baked, becomes hard and slighly flexible after baking. Requires a clean smooth surface to work on, as it may collect dust, hair etc.

After watching you tube videos bought the clay to use with my children. I believe I had as much fun as children making a variety of items from animals, jewellery to little pots, boxes and deco items. Great for a rainy day to do with kids.

This set includes a variety of nice bright colours, good selection and the perfect size for smaller projects. I made some decorations for my Christmas cake with this set, much better than icing as I can use them again and again!

The perfect size for my crafts and I like that they are all small as sometimes my bigger packs are wasted as they dry out. I love all the colours and it came in good time with good sturdy packaging. I love Fimo clay.
