I have low vision so I've searched extensively on Amazon for the boldest of the bold pens and have landed upon the Zebra F-301 1.6mm and the BIC Velocity 1.6mm as the boldest pens available.BIC Velocity Bold Ball Pen, 1.6mm, Black, 12ct (VLGB11-Blk)http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004F9QBDC/ref=pe_385040_121528360_TE_dp_2Both the BIC Velocity and the Zebra F-301 are great pens, but in the end I prefer the BIC Velocity. I've used both at work for the last 3 months and have found that the BIC writes smoother on paper and isn't as "scratchy" as the Zebra (I don't want to give you the impression that the zebra is scratchy in general way in relation to the majority of pens, it's a really, really great pen,

I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A PEN ENTHUSIAST, I CANT WRITE WITH A RUN OF THE MILL PEN I'VE GOTTA HAVE A PEN IN MY POCKET THAT I KNOW I LIKE. I'VE HAD THIS PEN IN THE PAST BUT NOT IN THE BOLD (0.7MM DOESNT DO IT FOR ME). I MUST SAY THE WAY THE INK FLOWS AND LOOKS ON PAPER IS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. FUN TO WRITE WITH EVEN IF YOU'RE AT WORK TAKING NOTES.ONE THING I NOTICED IS THAT THIS PEN IS PRETTY LIGHT AND ITS ALSO PRETTY SHORT COMPARED TO SOME OTHER PENS. HAVING A LIGHT PEN IS GREAT IF YOU DO A LOT OF WRITING BUT ITS SO LIGHT IT FEELS LIKE IT MIGHT BREAK IN HALF, ESPECIALLY IN MY POCKET. I LIKE THE PEN SHORT SINCE I TEND TO DO A LOT OF FIDDLING WITH MY PEN WHEN I'M BORED AND SOMETIMES AT WORK I DO

I have a pen fetish and this is definitely one of my favorites. Someone left a Zebra 401 where I work and I picked it up to check it out. It was a fine tip and I liked it, but I prefer the medium tip. So I ordered a medium (BOLD) on Amazon and love it! Also, I could only find the pens with black ink and I prefer blue so I ordered blue refills. Now the (my) world is a better place! :)

I’ve been looking at buying this pen for sometime, then I found it at a fantastic price on here, it does exactly what it says on the tin, it’s smooth and comfortable to use, it’s really cool looking and had lots of my work colleagues comment on it and like it. Went back to buy more (1.6mm ones) and I can’t find them anywhere without paying one heck of a price ??

These are our go-to pens. They write smoothly and have a rich ink color. These are the pens we always reach for. Now, we don't write all that much, maybe a check here and a grocery list there... So, we were surprised when both pens ran out of ink within about a year. Even so, I've reordered because we really like them!

I chose this pen for the bold 1.6 mm ink. The ink flows smoothly. My rating of a 4 instead of a 5 is simply because of my personal preference for a wider circumference when I am gripping the pen. I do a lot of writing and prefer a little more comfort in my hold than this metal cylinder provides.

These are some of my favorite pens! I like the bold line and the feel of the metal barrel. The line is consistent and beautiful. I use these to draw and they are pressure sensitive enough to give me a varied line at my will. Wonderful product.

I love how bold these are. They are thick without being too broad to write well, and the best part is they never get jammed, because the ball point is so large. Other pens get a piece of dirt in and stop writing, these do not.

I had previously bought the fine tip ones. The point was so fine, that I could barely read what I wrote. Bought this bold pen, same brand and it is perfect. It says bold but it is like a meduim point Sensa pen.

Nice option if you want a thicker ballpoint pen. I like it a little less than the thin tips, but I can use it for different things. Like if I need to bold a heading (shocking usage, I know).

As always, I really like the Zebra Pens. Typically, I use the 1.0 tip, but thought that I'd try the bold tip (i.e., 1.6mm). Writes fine; drops ink from time to time.

My fav go to pen, I love the weight of it, they are small but feel great while writing. The ink is nice and dark, and so far hasn't smudged like some bold pens do.

Been after this for some time, now at a reasonable price, one of the best simple presents I've ever bought myself, shame it doesn't appear to be available in UK

I like these pens, however the plastic threading above the grip holding the pen together can break pretty easily on them. For more durability go up to the F-701

Excellent pen, very smooth and bold lines which are ideal for making my normally spidery writing presentable. Would happily purchase again.
