✏️ EDIT : 12th DECEMBER 2016 ✏️On a working weekend up in town, I managed to find some time to go around various department stores selling the new shaped bottles for some of the 'EL' range, including 'CINNABAR'.Arguably, a brave move by a perfume house but all sales assistants were adamant that the bottle style is the only change to some of the 'oldies'.On a test spray, I find CINNABAR in the new bottle to be the same as it always has been ~ the initial heady scent blending and fading as time progresses but still quite noticeable some hours after and still there, faintly, in the morning.Others immediately recognised it as a familiar blast from the past ~ a scent which is linked to 'me'

I have been using Cinnibar for more than 30 years. It's a sensuous and luxurious smell that has meant repeatedly that I have been asked "what perfume are you wearing?".For me it is happiness in a bottle. It's deliciously sexy, warm, spicy, strong and mellow all at the same time. It also seems to be a smell that men really like, as men particularly comment on it.I love the way it lingers and clings to a scarf or a coat days later. But do be careful with white clothing though as it can stain! I even named a cat Cinni once as I like this fragrance sooooooo much.Buy it! Try it! You'll not be sorry.

My 2nd favourite flavour to Opium. I think (on my skin anyway) they smell quite similar. I like spicy oriental perfumes and dislike sickly and floral ones. I didn't even know that they still made this, so it was an aromatic trip down amnesia lane for me. One whiff and I was back in a disco in 1982. Ah, those were the days my friend. I rarely wear anything else but Opium, but this caused me to be unfaithful. (I did have a brief dalliance with Paris once, but I quickly regretted it, too sickly and sweet for me) and I returned quickly to my old faithful

I bought this as gift for my girlfriend after i read the review from other buyers but was bit skeptical after i placed the order. The delivery was fast and well packed. When my girlfriend first tried it on her skin, she said it was nice and as time passed on we both loved the scent of this perfume. As the other reviews say, its not for younger people which i was worried when i bought it and it is for sure not for all. This has elegant, long lasting scent (really loooooooong lasting) and its perfect for a classic evening.

As l love Opium l wanted something of a similar smell but perhaps not quite so strong, something ideal for day time and this is it! Not as long lasting as Opium but perfect for what l required. Top flowery notes followed by base notes of sandalwood and oriental spices. A lovely talcum powdery smell, sexy but subtle!

I used to wear this perfume many years ago ad when I saw that it was still available, I just had to buy some. Nothing has changed, it still has the lovely spicy smell that I remembered so well. A really nice perfume, ideal for evenings but works as well during the day. Not expensive. Fast delivery

its been my favourite perfume since its launch in 1973 I have used other perfumes over the years but I always come back to it. My family recognise its distinct fragerance and recognise it on other people and cant resist telling the person that its there moms perfume Its what I will be buried in

I used to buy a perfume many moons ago that was spicy/oriental (Sounded like Zie Zie Yang) but this like many things disappeared. So I searched for a fragrance that held that subtle oriental twist and … found Cinnabar. Now I always have a bottle in case I need a little spice in my life.

I was recently trying to remember the name of this perfume, which I was given as a gift in the 1980's. I remember it as being 'like Opium but nicer'. When I recalled the name I set for this an it is better than I remembered! It lasts all day but subtly changes and is always lovely.

Not easy to find in the shops in my part of the world. Great supplier who sent a replacement when the original got lost in the post.(I happily paid them for both) The price was excellent. The perfume itself is deep, sincere and mature, not to be worn unless you mean it.

I have been wearing this perfume since 1978, and it is still my No 1 perfume, ILove it today as much as I did back then, such an exoticly sensual spray... May it long continue, I just wish they would make it easier to get.

I have used this perfume for many years but have found it no longer exists on the HighStreet.I was really happy to discover it is available on Amazon.A lovely perfume.Quite heady and probably better for nightime.

This is my favourite perfume of all time. Reviewers said Ester Lauder had changed the scent. I have some of my original left and it does smell "thinner" is maybe the closest word to use. It is still gorgeous.

I love it! One of my favourite spicy scents along with Opium, Coco, KL (Lagerfeld), Magie Noir and Sensuous..Wish I could afford to cover my bedroom dressing table with very large bottles of all of them!
