A star removed for a couple of reasons, but the biggest being that each ball is individually wrapped on a plastic net. As I'm trying to cut down on my plastic use (and yes, I know the tub is plastic) it's just a bit disappointing, and I'm not sure it's necessary. The balls haven't been as big a bit with the birds as I'd hoped... they used to plough though the locally bought packets within a day, but not so much with these... ? they are value for money though, and maybe I've just got a fussy bunch of birds locally.

Birds love them. We have a variety of birds who come to our garden and visit the 'free bird restaurant'. They have become very fussy over the years (spoilt) over seeds, nuts and fat balls. We bought another tub of fat balls from another company and the birds would not touch them.These fat balls go down so well. We put out the balls, along with seeds, mealworms and nuts every other day and the birds seem to make a beeline for the fat balls first.Certainly worth going for quality if I do not want waste.

Good sturdy tub, delivered quickly. I have to say if there's one thing amongst all the other feeders the birds Go for its these so they must like them. Having to replace more frequently than anything else so will probably need to buy more soon! On a couple of feed balls the netting wasn't sealed properly so just popped utninto a feeder but otherwise really good product as described!

I was glad to find that the fat balls were moist enough to break in half as I think its only in winter a whole ball is needed in addition to the wild bird seed I leave out. Arrived in a sturdy see through bucket with each ball in it own net covering. Birds seem to like them and as they are not dry they do not break into pieces and fall out of the ball feeder.

I have no idea what the birds are but they love eating these. There are always birds having a go and it’s a pleasure to watch them in my garden. Helpful container to store other things in after I have used up the balls. They do come in individual netting which is the only pain but overall a minor inconvenience.

Placing the balls with their nets on makes it harder for birds such as rooks and parakeets harder to access. Whether this is a good thing or bad is up to the individual. I put the balls with and without the netting in alternate order into the bird ball feeder which seems fairer for all birds!

I had thought I had cancelled this product as a subscription but obviously not as I have received another delivery. I have tried again to unsubscribe. I hope this is the last one I receive until I order another as a one off.Many thanks.Julia Halling-Brown.The product is very good though.

These are great value and seem to be very good quality. We previously purchased the Alan Titchmarsh suet balls which seemed very dry and the birds wouldn't touch them. These are going down a treat and we have even had a woodpecker visiting regularly for the last few weeks.

Birds in our garden absolutely love these. Only regret is I bought them in bags but that is purely my fault not reading details enough. It is so nice to have the birds back in the garden. They must love them cos they go through them very quickly

Bought to attract a woodpecker to the bird feeding station as advice was that fat balls work best.Immediate success!! The woodpecker came to the feeding station the next day. After years of trying to tempt them. Must be tasty fat balls I say.

They look good soft not to much fat some fruit that’s good but didn’t realise they had netting that is not good because the birds get caught in them. I would have given full marks if it wasn’t for that. They should ban the nets.

We have an array of birds come to the garden and we put out food all Winter and decided to try to encourage more small birds by feeding further into the year. These balls are ideal and the birds seem to like them.

The suet balls themselves are loved by all our garden birds. One thing that puts me off buying them is the green plastic mesh they're in. Hazard to wildlife once discarded unless you cut them to bits. Unnecessary.

Bought as a gift for my mum together with a feeder to use with them. Mum says the birds are slowly getting used to them - I believe it can take a while for birds to get used to a bird feeder in a garden.

Having previously bought some cheap fat balls that the birds wouldn't touch I carefully read the reviews regarding these. The birds can't get enough of these !! At least I'm not wasting my money now.
