Having written a review earlier this month complaining that the wild mallards on my pond did not like the pellets I continued to persevere with soaking the pellets to soften them. Over a two week struggle the ducks have gradually but grudgingly accepted this food. Having now got used to it they now eat it without it having to be softened. However, they still prefer bread which I only give them on occasion and in vey small quantities as a treat. I limit the amount of feed as I want them to keep the ponds clear of excessive plant life, particularly duckweed and algae. They are a great asset in this respect.

One of the things I hate about duck and swan foods is that they either come in little pouches or else in a big flimsy bag that can get damp or ripped. Thankfully this product comes in neither; the bag is secure and despite our family being very ham-fisted, has proven very durable.The food itself seems very popular with the ducks and swans that live in the river near to us so thats just great.Full stars or all stars and marks so double YAY.

Does exactly what is says on the packaging; it floats, and the ducks love it. My reason for purchasing this was the nutrition side, and the floating claims. I can confirm that it does float better than any other product I have tried. I also took some of this on vacation, and the geese, whilst initially hesitant, loved it.Thoroughly recommended. I will try some of Brambles' other products in due course.

Hi, we are 4 baby swans called Baby Oscar, Tallulah, Trixie and Tinkerbelle. Our feathery godmother has fed us this food since we were tiny and we love it. We only like to eat it in the water though. We are 4 months old and starting to learn to fly and this food has helped us grow big and strong and we really really love it.

We took this bird food to the park on the weekend and we weren't disappointed! The food floats, has no horrible smell and even our cat was interested in it!My little boy loved his first experience of feeding the ducks, geese and swans. The pigeons and seagulls also got involved so a lot of happy birds!

Spent lock down going for a walk to duck pond and decided to buy them this as there daily treat. According to the ducks and odd chicken that roaming around it taste nice. Well they eat it anyway. Plenty in the bag and take a few handful ti take with me to feed ducks.

Buying this item has got me out to feed the ducks and swans etc on the local lake some ducks couldn't get enough others wouldn't touch the stuff even the swans weren't interested but at least some fed well and it does float

The ducks go crazy for this! We used to feed them bread until we learnt it was bad for the animals. The first time we fed the ducks and swans Brambles they were nearly fighting over it, will definitely be ordering more!

This is a really good food for all the ducks,swans,moorhens etc on the canal near where I live. The previous product I used was hopeless,just sank to the bottom.... This one floats and they absolutely love it.

This is the second bag I have purchased. My grandchildren love to feed the ducks and geese. It’s great to have a large bag like this to decant into a smaller container, Value for money as well!

Ducks and geese and swans absolutely love it! Always surrounded by them, the babies have been doing really well on it with a drink of water too. It’s been lovely watching them all grow.

All the ducks and swans in my local park seem to love this food , so guess I’ll give it 5 stars .much better than bread which doesn’t have much nutrition and fouls up the water.

Great product and great value for money! My daughters have had great fun feeding the ducks (and I think the ducks approved as we were surrounded)! Would definitely recommend!

The food seemed popular with all the ducks and swans. Floats well and gives them timeto eat the food. I am now a convert to this food. Shame more shops don’t stock it.

This was the second time I bought this food. The swans and duck love it. It is a daily routine to feed them. It was packed really well and the delivery was very quick.
