I’m a frequent drinker of actual white tea, and I’m pleasantly surprised that the ‘white tea’ labelling on this scent is actually fairly apt. It’s got a sweet huskiness to it that is quite white tea-like, but also a sweetness and fruitiness which most specifically reminds me of the English Tea Shop’s white tea with blueberry- which happens to be one of my favourite teas. So it’s fair to say I like the scent- even though, quite naturally, this is alcohol based so what you’re smelling here is definitely an alcoholic white tea, would that such a drink actually existed.Contrary to what other reviewers have said, I think it lingers fairly well as well- still presenting a distinct aroma on my wrist hours after I’ve sprayed a nominal amount on there, and not just because I’ve been drinking tea in the meantime. As usual with pretty much any perfume, I don’t “get” the branding and packaging element. I know the bottles are seen as fashion statements in their own right but I can’t get past the element of wastefulness each time- in this case, the absurdly thick glass bottle with large (and as far as I can tell non-recyclable) plastic lid, which will stack nicely in a bathroom cabinet but which is neither an efficient or a green way to keep 100ml of parfum. So for the scent alone, I’d be tempted to give 5 stars, but I’m going to knock a star off for the packaging. Just because I’d be willing to spend proper money on lovely scents, doesn’t mean I actually *want* it to be wasteful.

Wifes review:- I usually wear green, citrus perfume, and I loathe heavy cloying florals, so I hoped that this vanilla orchid would be a nice change for the summer, based on the description. It was difficult to imagine exactly what it would smell like, but I hoped the white tea and begamot would stop it being too florally for my taste. In reality it is very floral, however, it is also very light and soft, not at all cloying. The top notes are crisp, but it settles into a musky gentle scent on my skin which makes it very easy to wear. I am also pleasantly surprised by the depth of the fragrance, as my two favourite perfumes are significantly more expensive and nuanced than this.I was expecting it to be more artificial and for the price it is quite sophisticated. Unfortunately it doesn't last very long meaning, I need to respritz regularly, and because the bottle is chunky with a big square lid, it's not suitable for popping in a handbag. This means that it's really a wear at home fragrance as I don't like it enough to buy a 20ml bottle to carry around in my bag. So, for the incredibly cheap price it is excellent, and I will enjoy wearing it, but it won't tempt me away from my usual fragrance, and I won't get more once this has finished.

I chose this because I adore Vanilla and the promise of white tea and vanilla reminded me very much of those days when the body shop sold those two scents in oils. I used to mix them, hmmm.Anyhoo, lovely bottle. Nice and large but you need it really because I found that on me, it did not last more than 3-4 hours really. Therefore needs topping up during the day.Not a heavy scent though and a really nice change from the usual Summer fruits and florals.I did not detect any vanilla per se, until I had been wearing this for at least a couple of hours. By which time, the only way to smell it was to hold my nose close to my skin to get a whiff.I do however, like it very much, it has that warm, slightly musky, not floral smell I like. Not spicey though, I do like spicey perfumes too. Once it has settled onto the skin, it gives off a nice warm scent which personally I cannot detect a hint of any one of the aromas contained in it. They all seems to meld together very well.I hate distinctly floral or fruity and this is neither so I love it! I had to take a star away though because I cannot easily detect my favourite vanilla :-(

In a very crowded market at this price point (£36 in May 2019), a perfume needs to offer something standout in terms of branding, look or fragrance. Well, it’s off to a good start with the Elizabeth Arden name. The package is rather nice quality, but the design looks a bit old-fashioned, more likely to appeal to my mother than my daughter. That said, this is entirely in keeping with the range over a long period. It is an established and understated presentation, popular of course, but just not for me.The fragrance is interesting for a couple of reasons. Elizabeth is right on the money with the scent because the “white tea” aroma is often used in upmarket hotels. It is a mild soapy scent, fresh and pleasant, and yes redolent of an excellent hotel. It has staying power, and lasts several hours before needing a refresh.I am not in love with the fragrance, but that’s a matter of personal taste. It is a classic and conventional scent, suitable for day and evening, formal and social occasions. At the price, it makes a god quality everyday kind of scent.

a lovely scented fragrance - don't let the white tea put you off!its a good-sized bottle - and the fragrance lasts for hours!!!when I saw "white tea" I was slightly put off - but it is a lovely fragrance - perfect for the summer - I would say ( as I sniff my wrist) it does have a vanilla undertone...but is not sickly! it smells fresh and at the same time slightly musky.I love musky fragrances...they can be quite heavy though....this is lovely - you can smell the darker musk, and vanilla ( I am not a fan of it normally..too sweet)...and the citrus ( im not a fan of them)….but when combined this is a lovely complex and usual blend!I usually go for strong fragrances like Poison or JPG - I wantpeople to ask what I am wearing....I don't know if they are asking because it is too heavy or too sweet.....I have had comments when I am wearing this without the twisted face as they say "oooh..what are you wearing..."its musky enough for me but also pleasant enough as to not offend!!!a perfect blend of heavy and light scents - I love it

Mrs C usually likes flowery perfume and enjoys trying something new every time her bottle runs out. Whether you like a scent or dislike it is very personal. Personally, I hate her to wear heavy perfume as it makes me feel sick and I just cannot stand the smell. We have lived extensively in Bulgaria and have smelt just about every rose perfume you can find. Many of them are far too strong, but this one was different. This product is not heavy enough to make me feel sick and floral enough for Mrs C to like it. To describe the smell is quite difficult but the best I can say is that it has a slight rose/floral flower smell. It isn't overpowering, but being an EDT, the aroma does not last very long.Within two hours it had faded. So long as my wife uses a small amount I like the smell on her. This is not of the same quality as a Channel product she adores, but it is still very nice. This bottle offers great value and if you like a rose type of smell, you should like this perfume. Recommended.

My wife tried this eat de toilette and this review is based on her feedback. It does have a slightly strange name! There is nothing tea like about this fragrance and calling it this might put some potential customers off I fear! It is in fact a very light, floral scent with musky undertones. A perfect fragrance for summer. This is eau de toilette and my wife usually buys eat de parfum as she finds that eau de toilette wears off quickly. She reckoned that this was no exception but no worse than others she had sampled. The product came nicely presented in a white box and the bottle inside would look good on your dressing table or vanity unit.A nice product - much what one would expect from Elizabeth Arden. My wife’s conclusion was that she would buy it again but would prefer eau de parfum when this runs out. However, I am not at all sure that Elizabeth Arden produce this in as a perfume rather than EDT as I have not been able to find it. This product does represent fair value for money.

This is exactly what you have been looking for if you like rose - based florals. On me, the rose notes were really strong, I couldn't detect much else. The other notes are very subtle. It's absolutely a late spring and summer perfume, for daytime, or summer evenings. I couldn't really detect the musky notes, said to be present. It's an eau de toilette, so don't expect it to last longer than a couple of hours once applied, but the big bottle does at least mean that it will last a while. If you use other rose-based floral products (shower gel, body lotion/cream) this will go very nicely with them.Elizabeth Arden on the box or bottle always ensures a product is well received. A nice gift for an older woman,or the younger woman who loves a retro vibe, and wants a floral perfume to match her rose covered summer/tea dress.

I’m so very, very happy with this perfume. There are an awful lot of perfumes that don’t seem to combine at all well with my skin, but this one’s lovely. The eau de toilette arrives wrapped in cellophane, and under this the box is a textured white card with a pearlescent orchid image on the front. The bottle is a slim, glass cuboid shaded between clear glass at the bottom and solid white-painted at the top. It’s smart, subtle, and understated: a good fit for the product. The scent is quite a delicate, musky, vanilla-laden floral. It smells lovely, and to my delight smells the same on my skin as it does when sprayed onto a test paper. This happens really rarely for me. Better yet, the perfume lasts well. It’s quite subtle, but lingers for hours. I will definitely buy this in future, having had the opportunity to try it.

It's difficult for me to review this as I don't like any type of perfume, but my wife does. She was pleased with this one and said it had a pleasant, slightly floral but also musky scent. Not sure that it actually smells like white tea, vanilla or orchid though! She normally wears patchouli based perfumes so this is a bit different. She says it reminds her of some of the expensive scented candles that our neighbour uses. Nicely presented in a white bottle with graded paint so that the bottom is clear and you can see when you run out, it has a square lid which you remove to access the push button spray. You don't need much and it seems to last a few hours so the 100 ml bottle should last a very long time (and so it should at the rather alarming price of £36!)This would make a lovely gift too.

I'm not sure what White Tea actually does smell like, or whether this scent is a good reflection of this, but I would say it is a pleasant fragrance - not too overpowering and rather floral (without being too sweet) with a definite note of vanilla (it does say Vanilla Orchid on the packaging and Vanilla is actually from the orchid family!).The bottle is elegant yet fairly sturdy. It's reasonably priced for a decent quality Eau de toilette.Of course fragrance is a very personal thing both in what scents we like and how it smells with our personal body chemistry. Personally, I rather like this. I sprayed some on a couple of hours ago and it's not strong, but it's still noticeable I think.I never find many scents that seem to be that long lasting, but then you can't always tell on yourself!

I have had some Elizabeth Arden cosmetics in the past and they have all been very good. This is the first time I have sampled anything from the perfume range, but first impressions are that it continues with the good name. The fresh floral scent invokes the impression of late spring / early summer evenings when flowers are scenting the air. For me it brings back some distant pleasant memories of evening walks I have had on holiday when the evening air carries the delicate fragrance of foreign flowers. It is not overpowering, but I feel it could do with a little more strength as it needs a second application later in the day / evening, but I guess the same can be said for many top brand perfumes.A very enjoyable fragrance that makes me want to explore more from the brand

Elizabeth Arden Youth Dew was the first perfume I ever possessed so it was was with a degree of interest that I tried this White Tea eau de toilette spray.Unlike Youth Dew, the scent is neither sweet nor does it cloy. It is really refreshing, light and has a business-like aura. This toilette spray is ideal for wearing in the office and wearing it implies you mean business. In an extremely attractive squared bottle with a modern ombre, graduated colour hue, this bottle of spray contains 100 mls and I could detect the ‘crisp’ ’fragrance for a good few hours.Whilst the marketing literature promotes this fragrance as ‘warm’ and ‘soft’ I would suggest that this spray actually adds a degree offeminine charm to an otherwise masculine workplace and environment.

A light floral EDT that has a sweet, fresh fragrance based around Rose and that's definitely the top note. There's not much more here than the rose element but I find this a pretty, feminine fragrance that's perfect for summer. The outer packaging and bottle are nicely designed and again very feminine. My only niggle would be that the fragrance is so quick to fade I'm refreshing every couple of hours which isn't great however; this is a largish 100 ml bottle and even with the constant topping up it will last for quite a while. I'd certainly recommend Elizabeth Arden White Tea Wild Rose EDT for a light, refreshing spritz particularly during the summer heat when you want to freshen up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing what I noticed after wearing the fragrance is that it's very much floral (as expected) with a hint of citrus. The citrus smell is not over-powering and I find it to be very gentle. It's not hugely different from the original White Tea fragrance and possibly I can safely say that it's more on the softer end of it rather than crisp. I have wore this fragrance for close to 4 hours and now I can see that it's wearing out. So would work for me. I would use it as a summer fragrance and most likely for a daily casual wear. Overall, I have liked the fragrance mainly for the fresh feeling it oozes.
