My mother always like the scent of fresh roses and she told me she liked this one called red door from Elizabeth Arden, one of the best perfumes companies in the high street. I went for a smaller 30ml bottle as my mother uses perfumes only occasionally and therefore will not use as much although a larger bottle is available at a higher price then this one obviously. This perfume is quite strong with roses as it main scent and it can last for quite a while. I got this for my mother for christmas and she loved it very much. She even uses it when she goes out on special occasions or when visiting friends once in only a few months. The price here is very reasonable and we are delighted with this product.

This perfume has been my 'signature' scent for years and I really love it.Friends and family know it's the only perfume I wear so buy it whenever a prezzie's called for.Always had loads of compliments as to how nice I smell, and have even been stopped and asked what it is (women and men!)It's a gorgeous, light, floral blend that liingers for ages. It's not so intrusive that you get tired of it during the day, but it's exotic and sophisticated enough for evening too.However, it's shot up in price over the last year. Now it's WAY more expensive than it used to be. More than double the price, in fact. Don't know if this is as a result of a surge in popularity, or just plain old inflation.

This is my mum's and nan's favorite perfume. It has a great non over powering scent, and I myself, as a girl who isn't particularly a fan of perfumes finds a dab of it now and again will do. However we used to buy the large bottles. They were affordable and lasted a long time. But recently they changed the bottle and now in the high street at least only stock the small bottles for triple the original price.It is a shame, the large bottles have now exploded in price and I struggle to find any shop, even perfume shops which stock it any more.However if you are really willing to dig deep for something you really love or somebody you really love then I recommend you do it as from personal experience it really puts a smile on my mums face,

I used to have some Red Door Eau de Parfume which was truly fabulous. The scent lasted for hours.When it was finished I decided to re buy but could not find anywhere so eventually settled for this Eau de Toilette.Whilst recognizable, the depth of the perfume is much less profound and does not last anywhere like as long.Elizabeth Arden may feel that this is a good move, encouraging customers to use it more, but that won't work with me - I apply perfume once a day, when I get washed and dressed. If it lasts less long that is unfortunate but I never think to go back to my bedroom and apply it again.People often asked what the scent was, but now they don't - so in my opinion,

Red Door by Elizabeth Arden has been around for years. It has a classic scent that reminds me of the past and is both floral and powdery. Whilst this would primarily suit an older lady (I bought it for my mum) it could also compete against some of the more "in your face" modern eau de toilettes that, although maybe more unusual in terms of their range, are not as long lasting or as expensive smelling.And at this price, what is there to go wrong? Bizarrely the 100ml is the same price as 50ml. Somethings are reassuringly pricey and it is easy to be put off by a product that is reasonable on the pocket, not the case here, this is good quality and a bargain too. And my Mum likes it.

I do understand that having your favorite fragrance reformulated can be a let down and can make a lot of customers angry. That being said : I absolutely LOVE Red Door, in both its old and new iterations. Yes the fragrance have changed over the years, and YES it is still magnificent. Floral, powdery, honeyed, velvety, make-up-y, long-lasting, sweet, classic (I could go on)...beauty. Can't rave about this one enough, and always get compliments too. I have a full-size back-up bottle of this newer version and collect vintage minis. If you are unfamiliar with this fragrance please give it a try, you'll feel like a true Queen.

This is one of my favourite scents! My mum wore this when I was growing up and now I have grown to love it! The dispatcher did send me the wrong size, I ordered a 50 ml and got a 30 ml. This was easily sorted after mentioning it to them and they refunded me the difference in price between the two!! The reason why it isn't as strong is because it is an Eau de Toilette and not an Eau de Parfum. The Eau de Toilette is just a weaker 'diluted' version of the Eau de Parfum but the smell is still decently strong and lasts long. Defo recommend!

I love Red Door so much that I haven't worn any other fragrance in a very long time. It seemed that it went through some change in the scent at one point and I didn't like it. But when people commented that they also didn't care for the change you went back to what we all love about Red Door. I have passed by men and they tell me they love my perfume and ask what it is. I also had a woman on a cruise ship track me down to ask what perfume I wear. Please keep the Red Door the way it is and you will have a life time customer. Thank you.

I prefer the smell of the toilette spray vs the perfume. This is a creamy floral, it’s classy and elegant and beautiful when applied right. I know some people over use it and it can be offensive. I spray behind my ears, one my neck and it wears beautifully and lingers all day. It is a great quality fragrance on a budget. I wear a lot of Britney Spears fragrances so my taste is all over the place but when I want to feel glamorous I spray in red door.

I received this fragrance for the first time as a Christmas gift and loved it. Quite a few people have asked me what perfume I’m wearing as I smell lovely! It has a very distinctive aroma and feels fresh all day long without being what I would call clingy. Used to wear No.5 but after a little while I always found it smelled somewhat stale. RED DOOR is now one of my favourite scents and importantly has an affordable price tag.Regards, Bernadette.

My wife was very satisfied with this purchase. The perfume arrived ahead of schedule and the price was very competitive. Not too sure about the scent being the same as I remember when my late mother wore it. Perhaps on different people the smell changes . I remember when passing someone who wears original Red Door, you could tell immediately, but not so with this one. Not one friend has guessed what perfume I'm wearing. Has the recipe changes recently? I did buy this on Black Friday so got it at a really bargain price.

Bought for my mother in law for mothers day and absolutely loves it and is so happy that I chose it for her. It was my mothers favourite too, I always think of her when I smell it so it evokes cherished memories. A warm evocative perfume that holds the scent all day. A really good gift for any lady who loves the EA perfume range and for a reasonable price it is up there with the best classics.

This perfume I have been using for over forty years the smell last all day, people always comment on how nice I smell even my daughters now use red door in fact it’s the only perfume we all use I can be in a shop and I’ve had strangers say to me you smell really nice and had people ask me the name of my perfume believe me once you buy red door you will never use any other perfume
