After reading several unfavourable reviews on this cooler box I was half expecting to be disappointed with the product; half expecting it to be "flimsy" in construct, etc. But when it turned up today I was most pleased with my purchase, and I'll gladly tell you why: firstly, I made the purchase after spending time trawling over the net, and a few shops in town, and I came to the conclusion that I wasn't going to find another cooler box as low priced -also I wasn't wanting a tough, sturdy cooler box to accompany me up Mt Kilimanjaro, just a cooler to keep my food fresh for the weekend camping, and this is perfect!Complete with a couple of ice packs too, it's a good deal in my book!

When I defrosted my old freezer in the spring last year I kept the contents overnight in the garage in this box and it was still frozen as if it had been in the freezer. I don't picnic or drink wine but I imagine it would be very good as a cooler for these purposes too. Also if the freezer breaks down you don't lose all of your contents as it gives you time to order a new one for next day delivery. Not used often but very handy to have.

Nothing to get excited about, it is after all simply a large blue cooler box. Where it differs from two previous purchases is that the lid is well insulated so that is a plus point. However, I expect a little more from my boxes so as to use them to sit upon. Unfortunately the lid is of soft plastic which makes it unsuitable for this. So I expect it to be an effective cooler box, but I am disappointed it lacks the versatility I wanted.

This came with the little ice packs, which several reviewers said were missing . I took it away with us to a holiday cottage which is a bit remote for supplies. Pleased to report it kept all the frozen stuff completely frozen for the whole 5/6 hour journey. Couldn't be better pleased and for the price an absolute bargain.

Took this camping during the very hot summer and it did a great job of keeping the contents nice and cool. Just two issues, when closed the handle cuts into the cable, this may cause long term problems. Secondly the fan is slightly noisey but not enough to keep us awake at night.

I don't use this for food I use it to keep my prescription creams and ointments cool. It works great especially the handle locking the cooler lid tight. I'm sure it would be great for food too, I just needed it for my medicines. Would highly recommend it.

Fridge and Freezer just weren't 'man' enough for our Christmas needs.Stuck a couple freezer packs in and kept freezy cold for 2 days.Can't wait till Summer to road test it properly at the beach with beer on board.

The ice cooler is fit for purpose however it is similar to one I bought a few years ago from tescos at £6 so not sure this is good value for money... not as big as I thought. Maybe hold around 8 bottles of wine.

Retains sub zero temperature very well.Freeze blocks supplied are far better than the Thermos freeze blocks though.Would recommend for all types of use440ml cans of drinks and foodstuffs on top fits well

Arrived early in excellent condition, the item is perfect for my needs and very robust in build, i would recommend this item to any other person looking for a cool box for those summer days out.

Keeps food cold for many hours, it's not the best quality but for the price you can't go wrong. Add a couple if ice packs and it's perfect for any picnic or day out during the summer

Attractive item, and appears to be sturdy and well made. Unlike some other reviewers, product arrived exactly as described, including the two ice packs.

Does what it says on the tin - transported it full of frozen fish and seafood for a 6hour journey and it was still frozen solid when I arrived. Perfect.

Brought this out for a nights camping, kept all the drinks cold throughout the night and the next day.. A solid investment would recommend to anyone!

Does exactly what I would want it to do, the ice packs work superb and even after a 10 hour day at work in the recent heat they still come home cold
