...I have to say we never use it now as we eventually found the ice cubes tasted strange. No matter how much I washed the tray, I couldn't shift the funny taste/residue. Maybe it's just us and our freezer habits but I wouldn't now recommend this item. No doubt there is some traditional way to tackle this using baking soda or vinegar or something!

This is just a lid that you freeze water in and a bowl for ice cubes.It offers nothing that a plastic bowl and an ice cube tray doesn't give you.I accept that it is gadgety but it is too pricey for what it is.Avoid.
