I have not tried this "in the field" but at home. On mains electric, cools really quick and can produce ice cubes. On gas, things seem a little slower. Regarding 12v, again things were fine but me personally, I would not run it from your car battery but from a leisure or a second battery. No fun having a flat battery in the middle of nowhere. All in all, I am pleased with my purchase but only time will tell how it performs in Englands tropical summers.

Bought this fridge to use in my VW T5 campervan for the Camp Bestival festival. Has really good capacity and fitted in way more cans of drink and food than I thought. Runs very quiet (didn't notice it) on plug and 12v but haven't used off gas yet. Ran off leisure battery being topped up by solar panel and kept everything really nice and cold for the whole 3 days. Would definitely recommend this.

Couldn't believe how well this worked just on low when it was very hot outdoors.So far very pleased in spending the money to purchase.

Bought for use in the car but now used long term as mains fridge upstairs - does go to freezing and little noise so delighted by it.

This is a quality good value product. Does exactly what it should and is very user friendly. I would highly recommend this product.
