Overall quality, weight and features could not be better. I took this bag on two Himalayan expeditions of four weeks each, its in as good a condition today as it was when I bought it.It's not waterproof, which is fine as this adds unnecessary weight, I get around this by putting the clothes or gear I need to stay 100% dry by using waterproof stuff sacks, they're needed for organizing anyhow. Still, this bag was carried by a porter all day in a snowstorm and nothing inside was wet, so I would say it is at least water resistant.

Absolutely excellent - these bags are a great way to travel light but have the extra capacity if needed. We recently travelled nearly 10,000 miles to the US and overspent majorly based on the lower prices versus where we live. Luckily we had two of these and out they popped and allowed us to pack all our purchases and take them home. Only thing to worry about then was the excess baggage charges!!!

We used the bag on a two month RV trip and it held up fine with some rough handling. Best, we packed it full for a cross-country fligh. At 49 pound it was just under the weight limit and they passed it through without checking the dimension limits, which I was concerned about. Great all purpose bag and well constructed. We have had all Eagle Creek bags and carry on sand they have all worked well.

Love this bag. Used it on a dive trip to Mexico. Easily held two sets of dive equipment. Nice zippers and sturdy handles. If I had any improvement to suggest, it would be a set of backpack straps to make it easier to negotiate through airports, doorways etc.

This is my 4th Eagle Creek bag and 2nd XL. Very lightweight and can pack it to the brim without exceeding the luggage weight. Very sturdy and have even loaded it up with 69lbs+ on my international trips.

Light weight; durablePerfect for 50lb limit on airlines!HOWEVER...this newer fabric is not as good as the original which is much more attractive! ...probably more durable!

Durable and waterproof. The “No matter What warranty” gives you reassurance that this will be a long lasting bag and can withstand wear and tear for years to come.

The Eagle Creek bag survived a 1800km trek through Siberia. I have another, more expensive bag that didn't. I love this bag!

I always liked Eagle creek no matter duffel bags they are tough, reliable and with stand all toughness handling in airports.

Like that it is water proof would have liked pockets on the end I use it for work I would buy it again

This bag is awesome. Took it on a hunting trip and it still looks new and it was checked baggage.
