I bought this bag for a 3 week safari in Africa and it was the perfect choice. I needed something light weight since we had serious weight and size limitations on the small charter flights. The bag is extremely light weight and holds a lot of clothing so it was a good candidate. I especially liked the two straps that allow you to secure the bag after it is zippered shut. If you don't fill the bag, you can decrease the size by pulling the straps tighter.The bag went through 14 flights, multiple countries and was handled by porters in camps and airports and is no worse for wear. When we got home, the bag was very dusty both inside and out from the sand and dust in the bush.

We bought two, one blue and one red (his and hers) for our safari in Botswana last year and have since used them again to Zambia and Malawi.They are very well constructed, waterproof and have removable shoulder straps. We chose to place the shoulder straps under the hand strap when we checked in as we didn't want them to get caught in the airport carousels.We were instructed that our luggage had to be squash-able to fit into the little hold of the Cessna planes which dropped us in the bush. We were limited to 15kg in Botswana - that was fine, only used about 12kg in each but Zambia and Malawi was 12kg TOTAL including hand luggage. Struggled with that,

Over the years we've acquired bags from many manufacturers. One of the oldest and favorite bags was Eagle Creek, so when our young adult started traveling on a regular basis we bought this bag. It does not disappoint. The bag is tough yet flexible, with the right amount of compartments to segregate various items. The only additional item is a plastic bag for dirty shoes. This bag is perfect for various airplane bins, easy to carry, squishes to fit any cubby space, and can be thrown around with concern. Of all the bags we've had, Eagle Creek has made the best two.

Purchased this duffel to be used as a carry on when traveling and was surprised by its size. It was bigger then I had imagined but has preformed well thus far. It has traveled with me quite a bit at this point and have been impressed with its durability. When packed to the brim it might exceed some airlines dimensions for a carry on but when used for clothes and things that can be compressed a bit it is perfect. Zipper is strong just as its overall quality, I foresee this bag lasting me quite a while as it has been on a few long trips with little to no wear.

By far one of the best duffle bag I've owned. This bag is pretty roomy so be careful not to overstuffed it because one can easily pack too much in this bag and then it just becomes too heavy to carry. Two things I kind of had an issue with: The bag has like a petroleum smell to it and the outside of the bag feels almost as it was that cheap leather-like material. If you can get past the smell and the feel to it, it's a good durable duffle bag.

I love this duffel bag. It is just the right size. Not too big and bulky and not too small either. It packs away in it's own carrying case. You can fit a lot of clothes in this duffel bag and either use the shoulder strap or the two handle to carry it. It is soft sided and wipes clean easily. This is the second one that I have purchased and I am very happy with the quality, strength and durability of this bag.

The eagle creek no matter what duffel has always been a great bag. My last was going strong at 6 years old when it was stolen out of my car. So I shopped around for a great bag and came right back to this one - still the best on the market. Strong stitching, good shape, great handles and sling,not overly complicated with too many compartments ( there are two ) - and now water resistant!

Good quality bag. Built tough and still fairly light. I like that I can fold it pretty small and pack it, so I have back up luggage for the return when I over buy on my trip.Great weekend bag for any travel needs that come up.I can see me using this a lot. I seem like it can take a beating and will last long time.Happy with this product.

This is a very durable and sturdy duffel bag, and was exactly what I was looking for. I'm sure it's waterproof, and can withstand airline or land travel. The only thing missing is some inner pockets, but I'll use travel cubes to keep things organized instead. The price was fair and the color was perfect.

First time I used a duffle - this bag exceeded my expectations - durability, color, easy cleanup. However, I would have preferred a bit of sturdiness on the bottom - it is a bit cumbersome to pack without some "solid" bottom. Also, outside pocket was not easy to use when the bag was full.

We were limited to 15kg each for our hold luggage on a small Cesna plane when touring Botswana.The bag had to be 'squashable' to fit into the tiny space. It worked brilliantly and the waterproofing worked well as it kept our belongings free from dust too

This a great soft side duffel. I used it for the first time on a eight day raft trip through the Grand Canyon and when done it still looked new. I have used it for serval trips since and it still is in great. Eagle Creek makes great products.

I ordered this for my dad as a gift and he loves it. It is the perfect size for a weekend bag. The color is great too. It comes in a little carrying pouch which is great for storage. Overall, it was a great purchase and my dad loves it!

All the bags and travel apparels from Eagle Creek are excellent I have been buying their products for years they should make the small document, passport and money holder bag with a strap again that small traveling bag was brilliant.

Bought this as a weekend bag - already owned a larger version of the same. These bags are just the best. Easily packable, tough, easy to carry, great handles, straps and compression straps.
