I have never used a duffle bag for travelling before and am so glad this was the one I went with. Mine is the 90L jet black version. Photos are before and during a field trip taken to Kenya, where the bag has been through multiple plane and car journeys, as well as camping in multiple dusty and dirty regions. I am back home now and the bag still looks good as new. It was able to easily fit a sleeping bag, blanket, field equipment, and clothing for two weeks, and I will be using it again for my three month research trip later this year. When it arrived it was folded up inside itself, within what becomes the shoe holder compartment once it is folded out. When it is folded out is has three compartments. The first is the laundry compartment, which is a large space at the end of the bag but extends into the main bag compartment so if the main compartment is completely full it can't be used, but is great for putting dirty clothing at the end of a trip without getting other equipment dirty in the main compartment. The second compartment is at the other end of the bag and is the shoe compartment. This space is separate from the main compartment so counts as extra storage space. It comfortably fits a pair of hiking boots. The final compartment is the main compartment. There is a mesh divider within this section that can be hooked in at the top of the bag to divide it into two compartments. It can be unattached, but only at the top and not the bottom so will still be in the bag even if not acting as a divider. The zips of the main compartment can be padlocked, but there is only one zip on each of the other compartments so they cannot be padlocked. Around the main compartment there are four adjustable clips that allow you to make the bag more compact. One the top of the bag are two handles to lift the bag with. The top of the bag also has a compartment that you can unzip to pull out backpack straps. These attack to the bottom to allow you to carry the bag as a backpack. These are comfortable enough to transport the bag around, but I doubt they would be comfortable enough to use for a backpacking holiday. Overall as a field researcher who will be using this bag to transport gear and clothes, then leaving it in a tent for the duration of my research, I can't think of a better bag.

As soon as I started using it, I realized it is a really well-thought backpack.I was just skeptical about the lack of rigidity on the back, but once it's filled, i felt safe packing even my 12" macbook. It also means that when I don't need the bag, I can just food it into a small pouch and store it in a drawer (unlikely my old backpack which collects dust under the bed!).The finishing are very good and the materials are waterproof (no need for a waterproof cover!)I could go on an on about all the things I discovered of this product by using it and made me very happy of it. Just give it a go!Bravo Eagle Creek, Keep up with quality products :)

UPDATE:Second bag in great working order and I fully tested the press studs. Love how lightweight it is and feels very durable. All waterproof except for the strap sstow pocket where the waterproofing stops short. Not sure will ever use the divider seems a bit flimsy and impractical. But overall pretty optimistic.-Was so excited to get this bag for travelling and it looked so nice when I unboxed it BUT whilst checking all the features I realised one of the press stud clips was broken :( sending it back for a replacement hopefully this was an exception not a rule to this bag

My first trip with the bag and I'm so far very pleased with it. I arrived at the boat I work on and had to clamber down over rocks and up a gangway this was made easy with the rucksack type handles. The buckles are plastic so I'm not sure how long they will last, I'd have been far happier had they been steel or Aluminium. But overall I'm really pleased. The bag rolls up and is easily stored which is another great feature especially when there is a lack of storage space.

This is my second Eaglecreak hauler. My first one was 90 litres. I took it successfully around Asia and Australia for six months, I loved the durability and ultra lightness combination. But the most usefull aspect is the option to use the rollers or use it like a rucksack, priceless when u meet stairs and rough ground.I upgraded to the 130 litres to replace my cumbersome North Face suitcase/hauler for work.Highly recommend ?

Excellent hold-all, rugged construction and the (stowable) rucksack straps worked brilliantly for easy carriage from plane - taxi etc. The fact that it also folds down easily and neatly into a very small package for storage either at home or destination is a great plus. Used on Safari to Kenya and was absolutely perfect - one for me and one for my wife - who also found the hold-all vey easy to pack and use.

Have the 90 litre bag and found this slightly larger bag much better quality. The harness straps fold away into to a zipped pouch and the material that the bag is made of appears to be stronger. The bag is only slightly heavier than the 90 litre. The only thing missing is a place to put your name on.

We use it to carry 50 pounds of cargo on the plane. Best we’ve had that held up. Easy to roll, easy to get stuff in and out. Lots of room. Doesn’t tip over when set upright. Piggy backs well with another bag.

Bought the bag for a six week GB -New Zealand - Australia-Singapore - GB trip. I’ve been living out of the bag for four of the six weeks and it’s been perfect.

Amazing product very easy to store after use easy to use if 6ft tall get the bigger size bag as might be to low to haul on wheels without slightly crouching

5.3.2020

Just about the lightest most spacious wheelie you could want. Needs to be packed to the full to have any degree of structure as the bag is unframed.

3.3.2020

Nice opening, seems sturdy but not used for very long yet. Survived being hauled on and off buses nearly every night on an overland trip.

Excellent bag for travelling for work. Ideal for trips ofshore as it frees up your hands. Would be perfect if all so had shoulder strap.

Holder review, will update when have had time to fully test the item and see how it fairs over a decent period of time..

Brilliant bag get bigger hauled if over 6ft as the smaller hauler makes you slightly crouch when hauling easy to store
