Weird that it took me a while to figure out how to use the bag. That is something usually intuitive. The straps to turn it into a backpack are tucked away neatly into slots in the outside of the bag rather than tossed in a pocket inside just bouncing around... nice touch.Large capacity, I will have to figure out what they are talking about with reflective zippers. Everything is black. The locking feature of the zippers is also a nice feature although easily defeated with a pen... so don't depend on ANY locking zipper to keep your items secure. More of a keep honest people honest idea. The fabric under the main zipper is a nice touch to maybe help keep weather out along with not getting thezipper caught on items you pack inside.I read some other reviews and someone liked this bag better than a competing one due to this being lighter. I was picturing in my mind a heavier bag due to the image with it having a nice form to it. The material isn't as thick I was sort of hoping for, but as they stated, maybe a plus. Depends on your needs.I'm kind of 'meh over this. It seems like a nice bag at a 1/3rd the price. If it was truly water proof or came with a built in dry bag, and the material seemed a bit more rugged, I could justify the pricing. As I recieved it for free for review, so my pricing was fine, but I personally wouldn't be paying $79 for one.

Yes, Eagle Creek has reinvented the Duffel bag, the future of the duffel is now...Eagle Creek held nothing back when they put this bag together on the drawing board....The attention to detail & the number of innovations is pretty impressive.... this is a duffel that is made to not just last, but to become part of your life. The build quality of this Migrant duffel bag is next to none..... the materials are top notch, the fit n finish of this product is really impressive.I really like the size of this bag... not too big or small, so, it is in the "just right" range. The zippers on this bag are really nice, they open/close with ease & they all have little rubber grips so you can get ahold of them quickly.I really like how the back straps have their own storage slots so they don't get in the way when not in use :)And the quick release clips that open to allow the bag to expand are made of high impact plastic that is going to withstand the roughest treatment a travel bag can encounter. After careful & critical examinaton, I can say that IMO, there is no real "down side" to this product.... it is all thumbs up with this Eagle Creek Migrant duffel bag … not only is it brilliantly designed, it is rugged as all get out AND.... it looks great!5 Stars + Quality Product Recommendation

I am in love with this Eagle Creek Migrate Duffel Bag. I had the pleasure of using this on my family's annual trip to my in-laws farm in Washington and it was a dream to use. When we fly we don't check any baggage and carry on only. We breezed through the airport with this bag and it fit easily into the overhead bin.My two young children shared this bag between them and it was plenty big. This bag can be expanded by un-clipping the buckle on either side to allow for more vertical space but I didn't find this necessary. It fit all of their clothing, jackets, and shoes with room to spare without expanding. It was very easy to pack, with its large main opening.I used Eagle Creek's packing cubes to organize my kid's clothing and it was perfect. The bag itself is quite lightweight while being very sturdy. It can easily be collapsed when not in use, which makes it very easy to store. No more hard sided suitcases in this household!I'm very happy with this bag from Eagle Creek and can see my family making great use of it for years to come.

The Eagle Creek Migrate Duffel Bag, 90L version, is a terrific travel bag. I think it’s better suited for car travel and outdoor use, but it could probably work as a checked bag for air travel. I was excited to get it and used it almost right away on a 5-day outdoor excursion. The conditions weren’t that treacherous and it was dry, so I wasn’t able to test the weatherproofing, but I can’t imagine anything but a heavy downpour being able to penetrate this bag. The hideaway shoulder straps are also a nice temporary option. It wasn't comfortable enough to carry my fully loaded bag for very long, but it freed up my hands to carry other items and so I wasn't wobbling while carrying a heavy bag on one side of my body.I also have a 59L Eagle Creek No Matter What duffel bag and I love that bag too. The Migrate feels more durable, but isn’t packable like the No Matter What. Either way, it’s a great bag and will definitely come in handy on future trips.

This is a giant, open, highly water-resistant sack with handles. In terms of bags, that means it has limited usage scenarios, but - with that caveat - this is pretty much the ideal bag for those usage scenarios. The build quality and design are excellent (again, for a duffel bag, not for a backpack or a suitcase). I would expect the bag to easily handle years of outdoor use and abuse. There is virtually no organization, but there are compression buckles that reduce the footprint of the bag if you're not using its full, massive capacity. The backpack straps give you the option of tossing it on your back to get it to baggage check-in, or to a taxi - a feature that should not be underestimated,it can be a lifesaver - but I wouldn't expect to lug it much farther than that, especially if you have packed it to capacity. This is a great utility bag, with the right features to make hauling a bunch of crap around a little less painful.

This bag holds 90 liters, but is expandable to 98 liters, apparently. I've decided that it's large enough to replace the backpack that used to be my emergency go bag. It's made of very tough, water-resistant recycled material, so I'll offer the manufacturer big kudos for keeping it green. It also has hidden straps that allow it to morph from duffel bag to backpack in seconds. The biggest con on this bag for me is the lack of pockets/compartments. There's one zippered pocket on the outside and no compartment inside it. I'll have to bag things I put into it separately to customize it to my needs. For those of you keeping score, here's the breakdown:Size - ADesign - BDurability - AValue - B-Overall Grade: B

This thing. Is. Huge. Not like cumbersome or in a bad way. You can carry this like a regular duffle bag or like a backpack. When I wear it like a backpack it’s the same feel and size as if a normal backpack but it can hold SO MUCH because of its shape. If you travel a lot for work or take lots of weekend trips this bag is a MUST. You’ll only need this one bag! I could fit me and my boyfriends clothes AND shoes for a weekend trip with our toiletry bags and some other random things like portable chargers, cords, camera and camera chargers etc.Feels and looks sleek and sturdy too!

Great bag for traveling if you'll be outdoors (I use it for yoga retreats). It says it's 'wheeled' but no idea why. There are no wheels. You're carrying this. Given the size and the amount of stuff you can get in it, it would be helpful to have wheels, but, alas, no wheels. That said, the straps are comfortable. It's water resistant, the seams are very well made, as is the entire bag. Very good quality stuff. So for a high quality, outdoor-proof bag, this is an excellent choice.

Planning on a trip on the Colorado River, this would be a good travel bag. Not waterproof, but very resistant and well sealed. The material is a little stiff, not sure I would use it for everyday travel. The straps are aligned and have the length so you can use this as a backpack, but are just off a little reach and not enough cushioning for long carry. Might be a great gym bag, will look into using it for that. One star off for the material and strap placement.

So, this may be the most versatile bag I’ll ever own. It’s made of quality material and I think it will be really durable and keep things free of moisture on hikes where you may run into some unexpected rain. On the flip side, this bag can just be used as a duffle bag for a weekend trip. It can be a bit confusing for how to utilize the different ways you can use it, but just check out the tag on the bag and you’ll be good-to-go.

This is a cool bag! I've been using it for the gym, and it suits my needs perfectly. The colors are pretty; a blend of shimmery dark blues and teals. The best part is the multiple functions of this duffle. It can be adjusted from a small bag, to a larger bag, depending on what you unbuckle/unzip. Or, you can convert it to a backpack, which is my method of choice. Overall great product, and high quality craftsmanship.

I didn't realize this bag was going to be as large as it is, but it is definitely a large traveling bag. It is well made, thick, and sturdy. It has convertible straps, tons of storage space and pockets, etc. I will definitely be using this on my trip coming up in December where we will be gone for 10 days. I could absolutely fit all my clothes, shoes, coats, etc. in this one bag. Love it.

This bag is very large and gives all the impression of being very durable as well. My young daughter used it in its backpack form on an overnight trip. I agree with most of the reviews that this can carry clothes and toiletries for two for a weekend pretty comfortably.I suppose it is kind of cool that they developed their water repellent coating from windshield plastics from landfills.

Took this bag with me on a recent river rafting trip. Since it was its first outing I didn't want to risk expensive camera equipment -- I didn't need to worry; clothes, towel etc all dry. This was a splash-only situation, nothing submerged. Came out like a champ. It's nice and lightweight and well constructed. Carry one-handed or turn into a backpack. Very versatile.

27.7.2019

This came at an ideal time. I checked to see if it would qualify as a carry on bag and it does! On an aesthetic note, I love the aqua accents. This bag has no compartments, but it does provide lots of space. I guesstimated that I could fit two weeks worth of clothing and toiletries. The back pack straps are wide and comfortable.
